The Jehovah's Witnesses are telling us all the time that they are "only true Christians". But are the Jehovah's Witnesses true in a false type of way?.............something similar to other false things they have said? Like 1975 etc.......

I could understand the true Christians statement if this was the way it was meant to be taken

Jehovah's Witnesses think and believe they are the only true Christians and that everyone else, religions, governments, social organizations and so forth, are either satanic or under the influence of satan and the demons.

Every person but themselves are demonic or under the influence of demons. - That includes you.

There are at least 11 predictions of "the end" or the "end of this system of things" by the Watch Tower.

These are also stated as beginning of the Great Tribulation, End of Gentile Times, conclusion of this system of things, and so forth.

This is no light in them (the Watch Tower and it followers).

Well the equal manner that we've got a private title and might love to be referred to as through our title alternatively of Man, Woman, Boy & so forth is the equal manner that God feels. Psalms eighty three:18 says "May men and women recognise that you simply, whose title is Jehovah,You on my own are the Most High over all of the earth." The proven fact that his title is recounted within the Bible indicates God needs his title to be recognized & due to the fact that we're his witnesses or fans, we're referred to as Jehovah's Witnesses.

All you have to do is look up a little history on the internet and see what they teach as compared to what the Bible teaches. The Jehovah's Witnesses teach that Jesus isn't Almighty God but instead a kinda god and only God's son--not equall with God at all. They also teach that the Holy Spirit is a force not a person as the Bible teaches He is. The claims of the Bible is what Christians go by. As it turns out The Watchtower organization reinterpret parts of classical, historic Christianity for a version that goes against some of the essential truths of the Bible. See for yourself on just one set of the statements that Paul intentionally interchanges God and Jesus in describing who the Savior is in the book of Titus. Titus 1:3, 1:4, 2:13, 3:4, 3:6. The issue at hand is to understand who Paul knows Jesus to be--God and Savior. The Jehovah's Witnesses teach a whole different god and a whole different Jesus when they change the claims of who Jesus is and who God is. I hope this helps you see more clearly the Bible's claims are not that hard to understand, it usually boils down to those who reinterpret the Bible according to their own personal beliefs cause the most confusion concerning all points of 'Christianity'. With all this said, there are secondary issues that Christians hold different positions on, and that is acceptable to God (Romans 14), but when the issue in question is changing essential doctrine, that's when it is heresy, which God does not support but calls those false teachers. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith as written in the Bible

When I use the term "true Christian", I am referring to fellow believers that show the fruit of their salvation (kindness, good works, etc) AND DONT profess beliefs in non Biblical doctrine. Sadly a great many people take the title of "Christian" for themselves and do not live up to the Bible.

"true in a false type of way?" Conflicted much?

Jehovah's Witnesses are simply the only ones obeying the Bible's requirements for true Christians. While others constantly mix pagan worship into their own worship, which Jesus said was worthless.

Celebrations based on pagan worship. Doctrines of pagans. An amazing lack of knowledge of the Bible's accurate information. Any one of these things would disqualify a religion from being true Christians by Jesus Christ. These are just Bible standards for what true Christians must be.

In fact, other religions cl;aiming to be Christians do not even understand or know who the Author of the Bible is by name--not just title.

Jesus said what is involved in being a true Cristian. At John 8:31, he said: "You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings." Paul added: "Now I exhort you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you should all speak in agreement, and that there should not be divisions among you, but that you may be fitly united in the same mind and in the same line of thought."

Now that you know what is involved in being a true Christian, is it possible that all of the different denominations of professed Christians with their conflicting and contradicting doctrines are really remaining in the teachings of Jesus? Consider: Did Jesus ever teach his followers that:

1. God is a trinity? No.

2. all good people go to heaven? No.

3. God will torture the wicked for all eternity? No.

4. his followers should observe pagan holidays like Christmas, Easter, and Halloween? No.

5. Christians should go to war and kill their fellow humans? No.

6. eating meat on Fridays is wrong? No.

7. calling a priest "Father" is acceptable? No.

JWs are the only true Christians that remain in the teachings of Jesus. Let the truth speak for itself.

JWs claim only they are Christians and claim all other Christians are not Christian! But compare the bible and christian beliefs with the JW beliefs and it is as plain as day that JWs only claim to be christian because they are afraid to stand up as an entirely separate religion!

Greetings,

ONLY Jehovah's Witnesses can provide you with sound evidence that they are True Christians and believe only what the Bible teaches.

Now, the Bible gives us several objective ways to identify true Christians. The basic way is to "follow closely in Christ's footsteps" (1Pet.2:21). This is the Bible's definition of a True Christian–WWJD.

Scriptures say true worshipers could be identified in at least three main ways: Love, Truth (Jn.4:23; 17:17), and Fruitage (Mt.7:16ff). Conversely, by these we can also identify the false.

The True religion would be primarily known for it's love toward all (Jn.13:34,35; 1Jn.3:10-12; 4:7, 8). This would include their enemies (Mat.5:44-48; Rom.12:17-20; 1Pet.2:21-23; 3:8- 9). It would not participate in or condone carnal war (2Cor.10:3,4; Isa.2:4).

Now, when you examine most religions you find that they cannot meet the requirements of being true Christians. Their historical record is of bloodthirsty wars, immorality, sectarian violence and factional splits (Mat.7:21-23; 2Tim3:5; Gal.5:19-23). Today Catholics continue to kill Catholics and Protestants kill Protestants, something true Christians would not do (1Jn.3:10,15; 4:8).

I have found only one group which *absolutely* meets this requirement of truly being Christian: Jehovah's Witnesses. Our hearts tell us that any religion who is willing to shoot their own members in warfare cannot possibly be trusted to teach Biblical truth (2Cor.10:3-5; 1Jn. 3:10,15; 4:8). True Christians do not compromise their neutrality by serving in the armed forces even in "non-combat" positions.

Only Jehovah's Witnesses are truly associated with God's name: (Jn.17:3,6,26; Acts 15:14/Isa.55:5; 1Pt. 2:9/Ex.19:4- 5; Ps.83:18; Isa.43:10-12). They do not use Bibles which have removed the Most Holy Divine Name of God like almost every other religion. Replacing the Divine Name with the common noun "Lord" cannot be justified by any translational principles so it is a blatant "subtraction" from God's word which brings a curse on anyone who approves it (Rev.22:18; Ex. 3:15; Mic. 4:5; Jer. 23:27).

Only Jehovah's Witnesses are completely free from this curse and so can properly help others receive the blessings from God of Truth and Faith.

Another thing that is unique to Witnesses is that they are *truly* united in ALL their doctrines: "Brothers, I urge you, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, not to have factions among yourselves but all to be in agreement in what you profess; so that you are perfectly united in your beliefs and judgements" (1Cor.1:10; 2Cor.13:11; Eph 4:4-6; Phil.1:27). Other religions can only "agree to disagree" since they can not even agree on such things as war, abortion, homosexuality, special gifts, or baptism & etc.

Only Jehovah's Witnesses can state with certainty that they all agree in every doctrine. So only Witnesses can truly give you a "worldwide brotherhood" of Christians (Heb.10:25).

Only Witnesses can *prove* that ALL their teachings are based on the Bible (2 Tim. 3:14-16; Gal. 1:8, 9). As True Christians they are separated from the world by "truth" from God's Word (Jn.17:17; 4:23).

No other religion can provide you with beliefs which are free of syncretistic corruptions.

In my experience ONLY Jehovah's Witnesses as a whole group *require* their members to live in accord with Biblical morality. Most religions turn a blind eye to immorality on the part of their members and continue to fellowship with those willfully living an immoral life. The true Christian religion would follow God's commands and remove willful sinners from their midst (1Cor. 5:11-13; Rm. 16:17,18; 2Thess. 3:14; 2Cor.6:14-18). They would require all congregation members to live moral lives, not allowing practicers of homosexuality, fornication, or adultery to be accepted members of their congregation (Gal.5:19ff; 1Cor.6:9; Eph.5:3-5; 2 Pet.3:14; 2Cor.7:1).

Only Witnesses can provide you with this moral safety.

The true Church would be engaged in an unprecedented teaching activity (Matthew 24:14, 28:19, 20). Witnesses right now are performing the greatest Bible education work ever done in all human history!

There are more scripture evidences, however most religions cannot meet even these basic requirements of True Christianity.

I have examined almost every religion and I have not seen another one which can help you develop a close relationship with God. Their historical record shows that they cannot promote a true relationship with God. Their members as a whole do not "practice what they preach," or even unitedly agree on what they should preach, which are requirements for a relationship with God.

I believe that only Jehovah's Witnesses as a group can provide solid evidence that they meet the requirements of being God's people.

Yours,

It really just depends on what your definition of christian is. I asked that on here, and pretty much no two answers were the same.
