Now please people tell me how islam is a peaceful religion. I here muslums saying how they dont believe in violence it's a bunch of crap. I just want to get your pont of view on this

We have not been attacked since 9/11, thank you Mr. Bush. Do you think the terrorists have changed their minds and think we're nice now? They hate President Bush because he's doing a damn good job at protecting this Country, plain and simple.

We haven't been attacked again, so nobody can deny that Bush is protecting us.

Anyway, since they can't get us by attack, they are taking the next best step: They are attempting to convert ignorant Americans who actually believe this motto they are spreading around: "Islam: the religion of peace". Those who buy into that bs are the ones who will be directly responsible if we are attacked again, because its those people who swing our doors wide open to

an attack. They do not want westerners to be their brothers and sisters. They want you dead, and they want your children dead.

You are a worthless infidel, and you better wake up and realize thats exactly what they think of you. They do not love you. They do not care for you. They do not want to worship Allah along side of you. Wake up America, or when you finally do, there may not be anything left to wake up to.

You are being kind to say that muslims not believing in violence is a bunch of crap. You are being excessively kind. What they are doing is called "divide and conquer". They are inside this Country and attempting to destroy it one American at a time.

How can people be so educated and so damn stupid at the same time?

Well now, dont you think you are being pretty picky? As much of warnings there in the Qu'ran there are verses that tells of good and benovelence. Is it not ordinary for someone to defend their own religon? Each verse has a reason behind it and be sure to read what follows and not pick out a line without continuing it. That is a factor of why Islam is so misunderstood. Look at it a verse as a whole then you will understand what it tells.



Fighting can be in many forms. It doesnt mean to assualt people directly and involve those who are innocent. Don't you think that people have assualted and attacked Islam enough to force Muslims in attacking you? When they say fight, fight canbe as in strike their economy. Prevent those who asualt you from prospering and such.



Islam is truly a religon of peace -but!- it will not stand still if it is assualted. Respect those who respect you and strike those who insult and attack you.



You can not look at a religon and judge it by a few lines. Read the Qur'an and you will understand.

The fact is that in the 700's Islam was a peaceful religion. In Northern Spain & Southern France the Muslims created a zone called Occitania. They allowed freedom of religion in which non-catholics christians and Jews thrived. It was the only place in Europe where the culture flowered in the middle ages. That all came to an end with the Crusades.



Muslims from that time gave many scientific gifts to the world. Most of all they gave Europe a haven of rest which included street lights, beautiful architecture, and freedom to be the best you can be.



It is sad to see how bad things have deteriorated now. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, but I pray for these people. It is hard not to stereotype them all, but they are not all violent. Their religion is no more violent that the Buddhism of China in 1900 during the Boxer Rebellion, or Shintoism of Japan before and during WWII.

If you take some Bible verses out of context, you can say Christians aren't peaceful either.



The Quran was written when Muslims were under attack, so yeah, there's going to be violence. Look at what God told the Israelites to do. Sometimes he told them to wipe out entire cities, including children. Those who study the Bible know that is not the message.



Muslims read it in Arabic because the meaning may be sacrificed in translation to English.

My friend, you can also find just as many words spoken against opposers of God Yahweh in the Bible. Does that make the hebrew or the christians faith a religion of war? I don't think so! But let me clarify for you now that "religions" are neither "peaceful" or violent, ...PEOPLE are!!! No religion is completly peaceful or completly violent. I don't know if that was taken out of context or not since I have never read it. I will take the word of the Christians here that bible versus are taken out of context and that isn't fair either. Its easy to find fault in a faith you don't believe in.

Christians might not fly planes into buildings but they do bomb abortion clinics. Does that define thier faith as well??

Those are all taken out of context to fit the point you are trying to press. Did you also know that the Quran specifically states, do NOT harm those who have not harmed you first. In other words, if the non muslims are willing to keep peace then you are obligated to be peaceful back, but if they attack you first then you attack back. Yes it is a peaceful religion. Go learn how to speak Arabic and then make your own interpretations of the original texts.



And to counter that, I'm going to go ahead and assume you are a Christian and say that Christians have waged bloodier wars and crusades than any other religion. Your religion also states that in some circumstances, self multilation is necessary [If your eye makes you sin, then cut it out, for it is better to enter the kingdom of heaven blind than to enter hell with both eyes], and also the foundation of your religion is that a man was brutally killed in order to save the world. Sounds pretty damn violent to me.
