At first I thought the moral of the story must be "don't eat apples". After all, that was the moral of the story of Snow White, since we all know what happened to her when she ate an apple. Maybe if Eve had read that story, she wouldn't have gotten herself into such a predicament.

But then I thought, maybe the moral of the story was "don't trust a snake that can talk." But that can't be it, because Harry Potter talked to snakes, and they helped him out by attacking his cousin Dudley at the zoo. But wait! A snake also almost killed Harry when he was in the chamber of secrets. Anyways, you can see why I'm confused.

So what do you think? The moral of the story of Adam and Eve is ________

If you wake up naked and confused in the middle of nowhere, don't eat anything...no matter how hungry you are. not until you have an idea where the heck you are.

It is a creation myth, like Kronos emasculating Ouranous or Odin and his brothers slaying Ymir and forming the earth out of his body. It is just an attempt to reason why we are here and how we were made. And don't think that morals are always served on a platter to you. Look for them.

well lindsay for me the moral of the story is ..".be aware of evil deception". we all know that deception is the greatest tool of evil. they pretend to be the good guy but in the end they will swallow you up. that's why God gave us intelligence and wisdom to know what's right from wrong. and this intelligence could be enhanced by strengthening our relationship with Him. don't be confused by those Hollywood films. sometimes they represent the wrong idea because they're made for the purpose of money. Just pray hard so you won't be mislead..and in the end you'll know..IT WORKS!..dood luck

Never have a conversation with a talking snake. And if you do listen and god asks you "Did you eat the fruit?" Answer, "No."

Obey God or suffer the consequences for your sin and disobedience to Him. In other words, do as God says or pay the penalties. - :D

The Bible doesn't say what the fruit was, but some assume it was an apple.
