Question:
Oh My God! Is it really true?

I got this book about Krishna, and on the very 1st page the author states: "Everyone's looking for Krishna. Some may not realize it. But they are looking for him."

<>"...Allah- Buddha-Jehova- Rama - they are all Krishna..."

so, are YOU looking for Krishna? are Christians looking for him too? And Muslims? and all other religious people?

Just yesterday I was thinking how it's high time I learned something about Hinduism and the first question that popped up in my mind was if Krishna is the Abrahamic God. You've answered my question now. Thanks! :)

P.S. I'm not looking for any deity ... I'm looking for knowledge though

One of Hinduism's characteristics is that it does not reject any idea or point of view regarding other religions. It assimilates (resistance is futile) other religious beliefs by calling the figureheads or godheads of the other religions avatars of Vishnu (Krishna is an avatar of Vishnu). Vishnu is one aspect of Brahma the Creator so technically yes from a Hindu point of view, everyone is looking for Krishna.

EDIT: The Hindu's have deified Buddha kind of like how Jesus is God, and call him an avatar of Vishnu.

I used to be a Hindu and my favorite thing about Hinduism was its inclusiveness. According to Hinduism, all religions are true, they are simply different paths to the supreme being.

I'd disagree with the author about Buddha though, because Buddha was a man and not a god.

For the record, my middle name is Krishan (derived from Krishna).

Well you met an example of lier Hristos and not the real Hristos!

And your faith is not strong because you don`t know from your hearth that is only one Christ, Jesus Christ, Son of the God!

Jehova is the name of God, also Allah is an arabic name for God (attention Allah is not a name for islamic because islamic religion appear after 600 years after Christ!). But Rama, Buddha, are false and fake.

Be carefull. If your faith is not strong you will have bad experience in time because you will lose the contact with The Truth, wich is Jesus Christ name.

I think that all the Gods from all the religions are the same God. They just call Him in a different manner, but He is the same. People love Him differently.

I'm looking for the T.V. remote so I can watch football.

But until my wife gets back (she can find anything), I am stuck on the computer (does anyone know how to use the T.V. manually? - maybe this Krisha fella can help me out).
