Jesus uses the expression "Son of Man" 81 times in the Christian Scriptures and Christians believe Jesus was "god incarnate man" for example
"Jesus of Nazareth, a "MAN APPROVED BY God" among you by miracle and wonders and signs,WHICH G-D DID BY HIM in the midst of you" (Acts 2:22)
The author of Acts 2:22 in the Christian scriptures refers to Jesus as a " man approved by God"
The Bible confirms that Jesus is not the unique son of God. "And thou [Moses] shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even my first born." (Exodus 4:22), I am a father to Israel and Ephraim is my firstborn"(Jeremiah 31:9), 'long before Jesus was born', "I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me [David], Thou art my son; this day have I begotten thee."(Psalm 2:7), and "Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God"(Luke3: 38).

"...or just a prophet like Moses and Mohammad?"

Mohammad is NO comparison to Moses.

Moses was a deliverer; Jesus was a deliverer:

He was miraculous rescued as an infant - just as Jesus was.

He was willing to give up the throne of Egypt and to become a lowly man - just as Jesus did.

He fasted for 40 days and nights - just as Jesus did.

He was exceedingly meek - just as Jesus was.

He did mighty miracles - just as Jesus did.

He spoke face to face with God Almighty, just as Jesus did.

He was willing to die in order that Israel may live; just as Jesus did.

This is just my opinion- as a non-believer:

The Christian bible teaches that Jesus was the "Son of God". Muslims believe he is/was a prophet.

I believe there really was no one individual man named "Jesus Christ". I believe that most of the acts attributed to Jesus are fictional, fabricated by writers as much as 100 years after the supposed life of Christ.

There may well have been a man that Jesus is based on- probably a wandering preacher of the day to whom some of the earliest documented acts of Jesus could actually be attributed to.

Perhaps a man fed a few homeless people on his catch of fish for the day- and this evolved in the telling into the "wine and fishes" story where Jesus feeds a whole bunch of people on two fish, or whatever.

I think most of the information in the gospels are embelished (which is the nature of storytelling, even in how contemporary history is documented) and fictionalized.

The virgin birth of Jesus, for example, was also claimed by Ceasar and Alexander the Great.

Bottom line- I don't believe any one man called Jesus Christ ever actually existed. But, I do believe that some of the events attributed to Jesus' life happened, though to get the true history of the day one must try and "read between the lines" of the embelished fairy story.

It depends on what religion, or any, you follow. Christians believe Jesus is all those things. I'm Jewish so between different sects that might change a bit. Catholicism has the trinity where G-d is the Father, son, and holy sport.

Some Jewish people, and I think Muslims, believe Jesus was a prophet like Moses. Some don't. I think he was, just not part of G-d in any sense other than like in your quotes; Jesus was the son of G-d like Ephraim or David. Others believe differently though.

Most of Christendom teaches that God is Three Gods and not one. But true Christians recognise that as a false teaching for the Bible really teaches that only Jehovah God is Almighty and Jesus was his first creation(Col.1:15,Rev.3:14)

All.

He is:

God- The miracle written at Matthew 9:1-8 proves it.

King- He rules in hearts, like king rules people.

He wins victory by fighting with/overcoming temptations, like king wins victory by fighting for people.

Man- 1st Timothy 2:5 & Matthew 21:9 proves it.

Also, human acts/states by Jesus, hunger, sleeping, crying, and thirstiness, written at Matthew 4:2, Mark 4:38, John 11:35, John 19:28 proves it.

Priest- he represents people and sacrifices self for sins.

Prophet- he teaches God's Word.

Son of God- Matthew 17:5 proves it.

Ok. lets us see it like this: there is God, and there are 3 persons in this god, or to make it more comprehensible, 3 spirits. The 1st person "God the father", the 2nd person "god the son", and 3rd person "God the holy spirit'. Jesus christ is God the son. But let me tell you soething, there is no place in the bible that fully explains this, that is why this is known as one of the biggest MYSTERIES in christianity.

Jesus Christ, (Pbuh) is a prophet only. He is not God or son of God. if you question this, ask about how the prophet prayed to God.(Matt 14:23). Why would you pray to yourself?

Jesus says this about himself,

"I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life,

No one comes to the Father but by Me!"

It is foolishness not to listen to him.

He has power over life and death!

His bones are absent from the grave!

Jesus is God. Of the Trinity. Jesus is the only one who can forgive sins, the only one who died for man's sins and rose again to be victorious over the grave and death so that we can be saved from God's wrath.

He is God. He said so Himself several times in John and Revelation. He is the Alpha and Omega, the eternal beginning and end.

8. purely the human nature of Jesus had a beginning up. yet Jesus is the 2d guy or woman of the Trinity who continuously existed. 7. perchance, yet Jesus is maximum properly the "Son of God". His Divine Nature is set by way of that of His Father making Jesus coequal to His Father in Almighty. Jesus is God because of the fact the 2d guy or woman of the Trinity. God purely is on the market in persons. 6. We purely "see" the human nature of Jesus. for this reason Jesus is the seen photograph of an invisible God. 5. We use scripture to coach that Jesus is God; to no longer objectively teach the Trinity. It substitute into no longer the functionality of Jesus to coach the Trinity (functionality of salvation to coach us and qualify us for it - we would have liked to be saved first). Jesus despatched the Holy Spirit (functionality) to coach us approximately it. 4. Jesus is the two God and guy. His human nature does no longer be actual until eventually Jesus prayed to God because of the fact it extremely is project to God. it is had to ensure that Jesus to additionally be a hundred% human. yet Jesus is likewise a hundred% Divine. 3. The a hundred% human nature of Jesus would not very own limitless information. even regardless of the indisputable fact that, Jesus, as additionally a human son, maximum properly mentioned that His Father, AS ONE GOD, is well liked by of each thing. yet on account that we now understand that "ONE GOD" is Trinity, then all 3 persons, alongside with God the Son as Jesus & the Spirit, is well liked by of each thing such because of the fact the day and hour. 2. John 17:3 purely confirms that ONE actual God despatched Jesus into the international. The Trinity is such that each guy or woman jointly comply with particular roles. The functionality of God the Son (Jesus) is salvation. a million. You interestingly quoted the incorrect verse for Matthew 15:18 right here. it extremely is verse 9. even regardless of the indisputable fact that, this refers to those that're worshiping God Himself in ineffective by way of failing to obey the commandments. Jesus isn't speaking approximately Himself right here. yet seem at Matthew 15:25 the place Jesus is unquestionably being worshiped right here. And it is no longer the 1st similiar incident contained in the Bible the two. Jesus would not solicit worship as though he's changing His Father. Jesus is God purely coequally with 2 different persons. Jesus is God as a Son.

Depends on who you ask and which christian denomination they belong to. If they could actually agree, there would only be one christian religion instead of 50 different versions.
