...but that you don't consider such?

If you aren't a religious atheist, this isn't directed to you. If you don't know what a religious atheist is, then chances are you aren't one.

Thanks in advance.

You mean like Buddhists and such, correct? Well, I'm not a Buddhist, or any type of religious atheist, but I certainly consider concepts like reincarnation and karma to be supernatural. I suppose that a Buddhist wouldn't see it that way. They would just be facts of nature to them. Couldn't say for sure, though. Interesting question. I actually hope some religious atheists answer. I'd like to see their responses.

So many ignorant answers. Atheists can in fact be religious. As I've pointed out, Buddhists are atheists(most of the time), and as Fitz below me pointed out, Jainism is a religion that does not have a God, as is Animism(they only believe in spirits). Also, Unitarians allow atheists to join their religion.

Atheism is not a religion, but that doesn't mean atheists can't be religious. Do your research, people. You're not exactly demonstrating that atheists are smarter than theists right now.

I thought it was a good question. Sorry about the peanut gallery.

Realism, in philosophy, ability something very certain. It ability someone who believes that each and every merchandise got here across by technique of the senses has an exact area interior the international that corresponds, aspect by technique of aspect with the object of sensation. There are definite issues of this attitude. An Atheist proclaims that the evidence on a particular god is in and that the evidence proves that the god does no longer exist. Atheists will count heavily upon contradictions even as weighing the evidence. it could be stated that each and each person who does no longer settle for Zeus is an atheist so a approaches because the historic Greeks were worried and also you may want to be placed to death for no longer believing. There might want to be some gods you do not trust in and also you're atheistic about those gods. the familiar that means that the guy isn't a "Christian", isn't very functional and would not allow you to recognize adequate about what the guy believes. Humanists, are available in each and every structure and length. each and every faith has some humanists in them. Humanism only says that although else might want to be major, fellow people are extra major than dogmas or man or woman values.

Apparently, you do not know the meaning of the word religious or religion.

Religious means the worshiping of a deity and the supernatural. Religion just defines a sect of the religious.

Atheist are not religious they reject religion because of there being no evidence of a deity existing or of the supernatural claims of the religious.

Not a religion. Cannot BE a religion unless you invent a new meaning for the word. Find another hobby horse.
