If those that pierced Jesus had not gone to hell for doing so at his second coming, where is hell anyway?

Eternal torment hell of the heaven and hell option.

IN SEARCH OF THE BIGEST PICTURE INVOLVED IN ALL THIS TIME [ 2006 CE and Rev.20:1-6 [ the 1000 year reign ]; THIS IS A VERY LONG TIME HERE!

Jesus was crucified, but just before it, he prayed to his
father about those who were doing it.
Luke 23:34; [ Those that pierced him ];
Rev.1:7; He comes with the clouds and every eye shall see him even those that pierced him.

Acts 2:27-31 Jesus was resurrected out of sepulchre hell, where he was placed John 19:38-40; Rev.20:12,13 the hell here is the same thing and the caves, tombs and graves Rev.20:14; and death is what Jesus comes to destroy 1Cor,15:22-28;

Rev.21:1-5 All is made new, all see it, verse 8 amd Rev.20:15; is the second death, Rev.20:7-10 is the final cleansing of the new earth for the godly to pass into the kingddom of God to end the 1000 years.

The original Idea of Hell was the absence from the presence of the Creator. Which was built on by the Jewish/Christian idea from other cultures and religions as it is based on fear and shame .O.T. Rather than love and hope. N.T.

Not everything in Revelation should be taken literally. It was after all, presented to John in signs, and contains much that is symbolic.

If Jesus is with the clouds, is he obscured by them? Can he be seen if he is in the clouds? Can man literally see him in his heavenly glory? Maybe "those that pieced him" refer to a those who oppose Christ at the time of his coming?

I think the idea behind the question is that the literal Roman soldiers who pierced Jesus are in hell, and therefore there must be a physical location to hell with a line of sight to the sky so this scripture can be literally fulfilled.

Further, there is a great difference of opinion as to what hell actually is, see the cited Wikipedia article, as well as the articles on Sheol and Gehenna. Note that a distinction can be made between the original language words Sheol (Hebrew) and Hades (Greek) which may be equated, and the word Gehenna. In many cases though, translations render all as "hell".

Do you believe that if someone murder a person that you love should be punish ? Well, that's the whole point. You're not going to get away with murder in this world. A good judge will punish you, and send you to prison.

With God, it's a different issue. When Jesus died on the cross, it's like He paid your bail. So you don't have to be punish. But, you have to repent, and put your trust in Him.

When Jesus was crucified, He prayed to the Father to forgive those who were put Him on the cross. It's because He teaches us to pray for our enemy and love our enemy. Ultimately, it's up to God to judge the person heart.

There are three words translated 'hell' in the scripture

Gehenna (greek) the place of punishment (Matt. 5:22,29,10:28 and James 3:6)

Hades (greek) The abode of the dead (Matt. 11 :23, 16:18, Luke 16:23, Acts 2:27)

Sheol (hebrew) The grave (Psalm 9:17, 16:10)

There are those who accept that hell is a place of punishment, but believe that punishment to be annihilated-to cease conscious existance. They can't conceive that the punishment of the wicked will be conscious and eternal. If they were correct, then man like Adolph Hittler, who was responsible for death of millions, is being 'punished' merrely with eternal sleep. His fate was simply to return to the non-existance state he was before he was born, where he doesn't even know that he is being punished.

However the scripture paints a different story, the rich man who found himself in hell was conscious. (Luke 16:19-31) He was able to feel pain, thirst, and experience torment. He wasn't asleep in the grave, he was in the place of 'torment'.

If hell is a place of knowing nothing or reference to the grave into which we go at death, then Jesus' statement about hell wouldn't be make sense. He said that if your hand, foot or eyes causes you to sin, it would be better to remove it than to go into hell, into the fire that never quenched, where their worm dies not.. (MArk 9:43-48)

Revelation 14:10-11 tells us the final, eternal destiny of the sinner, "He shall tormented with fire and birmstone.. the smoke of their torment ascended up for ever and ever, and they have no rest day or night."

Your Bible verses say it all. Hell is simply the grave. It is not the same thing as the lake of fire. Those who crucified Jesus are in the grave. They will be the only resurrected wicked when Jesus returns. All the rest of the wicked on Earth call for the rocks to fall on them and are killed by His glory. After the crucifers of Jesus see him return, they also die. Sucks, they still have one more to go. Then after a thousand years in heaven, when the New Jerusalem is desending on earth all the wicked rise again and try to take the city. however fire comes down from heaven and destroys them all. Even satan and his angels. They are gone forever. Fit the scripture? I hope this isn't something you already know otherwise I am wasting my sleep time.

1) Hell is separation from God. Any kind of separation. No communication. 2) Don't rely to heavily on Revelation. It was written for a different group of Christians in a different time. It may be a good read, have some good points you may not have considered before, but do not take it literally.

Hell is the lake of fire that non-believers perish in. It is the 2nd death. The death is irreversible, that's why it's eternal. But it is not eternal torment. It's being dead forever.

There is nothing that I have seen in the bible that asserts anything about the fate of the piercers. It is a reasonable inference that the "Father, forgive them..." was not a condemnation to hell. But the Bible is so full of errors and self-contradictions that to draw any inferences from it is perilous.

"Those that pierced Him" are the Jews. I believe they get a second chance no one else does because of the convenant with Abraham.

Hell is described as a "descent" over and over in the Bible. I believe it is in the molten core of the Earth.
