Just as the title states. I notice that during the entire season 5 where the actual Biblical Apocalypse was a very large factor, Jesus was never mentioned at all. And it's kind of difficult to worm your way around Jesus Christ, especially when your entire season is based around the Apocalypse and one of your main characters is an Angel of the Lord, lol. Until recently I thought Chuck -the 'prophet'- was God because of the season 5 ending. But now I think that maybe... Could have Chuck been Jesus? Or was he God?! AUGH! Maybe this is why Jesus was never mentioned... so confusing! Lol. But seriously, what do you Supernatural fans think -or know-? Why wasn't Jesus ever mentioned? Please give me your thoughts, I insist! :3

I think there's only one answer to that question. The writers are afraid of mentioning Him. Afraid of alienating those who don't believe and offending those who do believe in Jesus. They even mention the ANTICHRIST! but never CHRIST! It doesn't make sense in the story at all to exclude Him. How can there be an entire show about God, heaven, hell, angels, demons, the bible, and the apocalypse and not mention the single most important, significant, crucial person to ever exist in history? i'm hoping that in the end, when they don't care about ratings anymore, they will get the courage to bring Jesus Christ into the story. in the series finale maybe.

and if what wolfmano says is true, then i'm done with the show. if they mock Christ in the TV show, I will be very upset. the writers can't be that dumb. if they want to be controversial, in THIS society, then they should present Christ as the Lord and Savior of the world. That would cause more feathers to ruffle than blaspheming.

...because Supernatural is a documentary and the jesus myth was too far-fetched to make the cut.
