Christians- I'm desperate for some help... all I want is the truth?

I have been looking into Mormonism for a year- and up until yesterday thought that I was finally read to be baptized. Last night, I met the missionaries at Tim Hortons- and a hide brief lesson with them. As soon as they left, a man comes over and says his name is Bernie. I recognize him as the guy that sometimes delivers my sushi to my house, since the restaurant doesn't have delivery. He tells me about the bible, about God and Jesus, how to be saved, and his own story about how he became a Christian. At the end he gave me a Pocket OT + NT bible and John 3:16 tract, and said he would pray for me. He then went back to coffee with a group of guys he was with. I sat there for a minute and read the first couple chapters of John, and suddenly I didn't feel the same about Mormonism- I just didn't feel at piece about it. I grew up in a Pentecostal family, but never really gave God a chance to work in my life- i had a fews times were I thought I gave him a chance- but then I'd give up. But I believe that Bernie came and sat at my table for a reason. So now I don't know what to do. I love Mormonism so much- it just seemed to all make sense - and I've tried to leave before- but always felt drawn back to it. What should I do? Is Bernie right?

The Lord put Bernie in your path. The Lord Jesus says "I am the way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except by me." John 14:6 The truth is found in the Lord Jesus Christ, because He is the truth. I encourage you to give the Lord Jesus Christ a chance. Maybe you should continue to read the entire book of John, and study the Bible. Maybe Bernie knows of a good bible study. Is it possible for you to go to the Sushi Restaurant and find Bernie to ask him where you can study the Bible and seek the Lord? I encourage you to pray, "Lord, I need you to show yourself to me. Are you for real? Please show me clearly that you are the truth I seek." I really encourage you to take a step back from Mormonism and consider what Bernie shared with you about the Lord Jesus Christ. Give God a chance to work in your life. :) Apparently, God loves you so much that he sent His people to tell you about Him. It's as if He wants to prevent you from making a terrible mistake, and also, to call you to Himself. Wow, God must really love you!

I did a study on the Book of Mormon when I was in Bible school, comparing it carefully with the Bible. It contradicts the Bible in a number of places. There are a number of holes in the theory surrounding it. For example, it was supposedly translated into English in the 19th century. So why was it translated into 17th century English instead of 19th century? English changed dramatically between the 17th and 19th century. (For example, the second person singular personal pronoun, it's inflected forms and corresponding verb forms, all became obsolete.) So why does the Book of Mormon use an obsolete form of English? There can only be one reason: to make it sound like the King James Version of the Bible, and thus appear more "legitimate."

You were far closer to truth in the Pentecostal church, regardless of which type it was. Mormons do not experience the infilling of the Holy Ghost as Pentecostals do, nor does the power of God work in their life in the same measure it does among Pentecostals.

Salvation consists of deliverance from all sin and unrighteousness through the blood of Jesus Christ. The New Testament experience of salvation consists of repentance from sin, water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, after which the Christian is to live a godly life (Acts 2:36-41).

The law-the Word of God

The judge- the righteous God

To be judged-our souls

Don't be misled by their teachings. I was a mormon also, but realized that God's Spirit was not with them. They believe that a 14 year old boy received revelation from an angel (moroni) about these new gospels. Well, if you read the Bible, look at Galatians Ch 1 v:8 " but even if we or an angel of heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be condemned." Also, I know that mormons believe that the devil gives them revelation also. Uh-nuh. Pray to God, fast until God's Spirit answers you. Let His divine inspiration come to you. I know that it worked for me. You want a true relationship with God, that's all. Then seek Him, desire Him, ask Him , how can I truly love You above all else. Believe me, I went through the same thing. It took me awhile. Now I know God and how much He loves me. I serve Him 100%. As I have told everyone I testify to, I am ALL IN.God Bless You. Hope this helps.

Wow, the mormons are clicking on all those down thumbs. truth hurts baby. Google this, "what religion believes that the devil gives revelation to". the mormons claim this.

I have a Mormon neighbor who is a very kind man and we had a discussion about God. Mormonism has very different viewpoints that are not very Biblical. I like my neighbor a lot and I pray that God will open his eyes to receiving the truth. I have provided a website below, which describes some of the different doctrines between Mormonism and Christianity. God is the author and source of truth and is able to lead you to Him. If you seek the truth with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind - the truth will be revealed to you. We were all lost at one point, until the Lord revealed the truth to us.

Mormonism says that Native Americans are related to Middle eastern Jews. This has been proved to be total rubbish.

Mormonism is wrong.

However, that does not make Bernie right. According to the OT part of that pocket bible the Messiah:

Is a man not a deity.

Will bring peace to the world in his lifetime.

Will convert everyone to a single religion in his lifetime.

Will rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem.

And other things, but the Jesus character in the NT part of that pocket bible totally fails to do any of these things, and hence can not be the Messiah talked about in the OT.

God never worked in your life for the same reason that Zeus never worked in your life, or Odin never worked in your life. These are all mythology and have nothing to do with reality.

Bernie came an sat at your table for a reason. But the reason was that he saw and/or heard you talking to a couple of Mormon missionaries and he wanted you to conform to his delusion rather than conform to their delusion.

Mormonism makes as much sense as Christianity. But they both also make as much sense as believing in Quetzalcoatl or Osiris.

My advice is that you put all these foolish beliefs behind you and learn to live in the real world.

Here is your answer:

" I just didn't feel at piece about it."

The Spirit of Truth is also the Spirit of Peace. As a child of God you have His Spirit within you to guide you. Trust in the still small voice in you and seek to receive a greater measure of the Holy Spirit.

Pray for truth and understanding and read the rest of the Book of John.

God bless.

The Bible says, "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth [to God] and forsaketh them shall have mercy" (Proverbs 28:13). And these encouraging words are found in I John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

In Acts 2:36-37, sinners who had rejected Jesus as Lord and Messiah asked the apostles, "What shall we do?" Acts 2:38 records the answer: "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

Baptism is part of a Biblical salvation experience. Acts 2:38 sums up the elements of the salvation experience. "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Of course, without faith none of these things have any effect.

Baptism should be done by immersion "in the name of Jesus Christ."

The gift of the Holy Ghost will be accompanied by speaking in other tongues.

The experience is taught explicitly in the book of Acts as part of each and every conversion experience. It is man who has changed that norm, not God.

The best advice I can give you is to find a local church at http://wec.upci.org/churches/locator/ that believes in, teaches, and practices the original apostolic plan of salvation.

Thank God for Bernie. God sent Bernie to you. Mormonism does sound nice on the surface, but Mormons deny every single major doctrine of the Bible. IT was really good that you read the Bible. If you want, keep reading the book of Mormon and compare it to the Bible. I think you will find it of significantly less quality than the Bible.

I thought about Mormonism and God gave me a distinct impression that Joseph Smith was predicted in the Bible when in Galatians the Apostle Paul writes of a gospel, that is not really the Gospel and when he writes to not believe another gospel even if it comes from an angel. Peter also writes that the followers of Jesus do not follow cleverly devised tales [I believe that is what Smith wrote]. The Apostle Paul also commanded the followers of Jesus not to get involved with endless genealogies. In my understanding that is exactly what Mormons do.

Pray that God would give you wisdom

Here's a very important thing you need to really look into before choosing Mormonism.

The mormons and their version of the bible and version of Jesus was started by reading golden plates or tablets in a "hat" that have never been seen nor found.......honestly think about that because that's how that religion/denomination was started. Mormons are some of the most happy go lucky people I've met but yeah kinda odd.

Either the Catholics are right or the Mormons are right. Most of the Churches broke off of the Catholic Church and if the Catholics were wrong then all of the break off churches are still wrong.

If the Catholics are right then all of the break off churches are still wrong.

Mormons do claim to receive direct revelation either they are right or wrong. If they are right then everyone else is wrong.

If they are wrong and they still strive to live their religion then they spread hope, talk of charity, do constant service efforts, avoid harm-full things to their body like drugs or cig, attend church each week where they renew their promises by taking the sacrament and saying they will remember Christ always. In the Temples they learn of God and make promises never to have sex with anyone other than their spouse. If this whole group has been mislead so they can be in positions of service and you dedicate your life to this then at the last day Christ will still say "Enter in" . Mormons don't think they will be the only ones in heaven.

The people that tell you all you have to do to be saved is accept Jesus and say a prayer are off the mark. We are saved by grace and only through Jesus that is true but there is a bit more to it than that. Christ himself said "If ye love me keep my commandments". A religion that does not require sacrifice will not have any power to change your life.

If you don't feel ready to be baptized then I would not do it. Pray about it.

What does the Bible say about Christ's Church? If your looking for the Church of Christ lets look at a few scriptures from the Bible about it.

1. Christ Organized a church Eph 4:11-14 Eph 5:23 (This Church had his name and Apostles and Prophets)

The true church will be the same as the one Christ organized. So carefully look for the items.

2. The true church will claim divine authority by the laying on of hands Heb 5:4-10

3. The true church will not have a paid ministry Is 45:13 and Peter 5:2

4. The true church will baptize by immersion Matt 3:13-16 (Went to where there was much water)

5. The true church will bestow the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands: Acts 8:14-17 19:1-6 and Heb 6:1-2

6. The true church must practice divine healing Mark 3:14-15

7. The true church will have a sound understanding that God the Father, Jesus the Christ and the Holy Ghost are one in purpose but are separate individuals and the Holy Ghost is only a Spirit but God and Christ have glorified bodies John:17:11 and 20:17 Luke 24:36-39 and Acts 1:9-11

8. The leaders of the Church must be called of God and ordained by someone that has authority with a direct priesthood line to Christ, not a college degree. Heb 5:4 and Ex 28:1 and Ex 40:13-16.

9. The true church must claim continuing revelation (ongoing) Amos 3:7 God will do nothing without Prophets….

10. The true church will be a missionary church spreading the gospel Matt 28:19-20 two by two

11. Christ’s church will be a restored church Acts 3:19-20 and Is 2:2-3 and Daniel 2:26-45

12. The true church will have a plan to save the people that have died already without baptism 1 Cor 15:29 is where Paul is talking to a Group of people who do not believe in the Resurrection yet they are practicing baptism for the dead and he asks them why in the heck are you doing baptisms for the dead if it won’t do any good because you don’t believe in the resurrection? In the temple you can be proxy for someone who has passed away and be baptized for an in behalf of them. Mal 4:5-6

13. You will know the true church by their fruits Matt 7:20 The true church strives for perfection, Christ said “Be ye therefore perfect even as your father in heaven is perfect” he knew we could not be perfect without his sacrifice but the still told us to strive for it. That means effort also is needed besides just words. Be ye doers of the word and not just hearers. Matt 5:48, John 17:23 Gen 17:1 Gen 12:# Gen 28:14 The family unit will be very important in the Church of Christ.

14. The Church of Jesus Christ will also have the Gift of languages as in Acts.

15. Where it says in the last book of the bible (Rev) not to add or take away John is referring to his books and Moses also says this same thing in Deut 4:2. Bible means collection of books and John was actually written after Revelations but it was put at the end because of the subject matter. If you say you cannot add or delete then you have to throw away everything after the 5th book in the bible too.

The Promise is Yours

All have sinned and fall short of God's glorious ideal (Romans 3:23). The result of this sin is death-both physical and spiritual (Romans 6:23). The Bible plainly teaches that the man who has sin in his life cannot possibly enter into heaven (Hebrews 12:4).

The Word of God tells us that without the shedding of blood man is hopelessly lost (Hebrews 9:19-26). God, in looking down upon earth, found there was no one good enough to die for the sins of the world that we might have eternal life. So, God came to earth Himself-in the fleshly form of a man called Jesus-to die for the sins of the world. The Scriptures refer to Jesus as "Emmanuel" or "God with us" (Matthew 1:21-23; Isaiah 9:6; I Timothy 3:16).

As a man Jesus was tempted just as we are tempted, yet He remained free from sin (Hebrews 4:15). He came that we might have eternal life, preaching and commanding men to repent. His message declared that unless a man was born of the water (water baptism) and the Spirit (infilling of the Holy Spirit) he could not enter into the Kingdom of God (John 3:5).

As a ransom for all, Jesus died on the Cross. Although He was tempted in the same ways we are tempted, He did remain without sin, and was thus a worthy sacrifice for the sins of the world. Because of the shedding of Jesus' blood, there is remission of sin for everyone who follows the plan of salvation.

After His death on the Cross, Jesus was laid in a tomb. On the third day, however, He arose just as it had been prophesied (Luke 24:46). After His resurrection, Jesus spent forty days with His disciples, instructing them in the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. Shortly before ascending back into heaven, Jesus assured His followers that He would soon send them the promise of the Father, which was the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:49).

On the Day of Pentecost the baptism of the Holy Spirit was given to a group of approximately 120 disciples who were waiting in the Upper Room. As they waited, tongues like as of fire appeared and rested upon each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues(languages they had never learned) as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:1-4).

The sound coming from the Upper Room drew quite a crowd of curious onlookers who began to ask each other, "What does this mean?" The Apostle Peter, after preaching to the crowd for a few moments, unfolded unto them the plan of salvation: "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. "He went on to tell them. "For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call" (Acts 2:38,39).

The message Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost was heeded by about 3,000 believers, and is still in effect today. There is still saving power in the message of repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

In repentance one turns from his sins, with a faith that Jesus paid the price on Calvary for all sins. In so doing, he crucifies the "old self" with Christ (Romans 6:6). When one is baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, he is buried with Christ (Romans 6:3).

Then, as the Spirit of God enters, the believers begins to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. Every procedure (Acts 2:4; 8:14-20; 10:44-48; 19:1-6).

The Bible tells us that if the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is dwelling in us, we have the promise of eternal life with Him (Romans 8:9-11). We are told: "The dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (I Thessalonians 4:16,17).

Yes, the promise is yours.

What if you knew that you could find a refreshing that surpassed an experience you had previously? What if you knew there was peace and joy and righteousness in a given experience?

Have you ever thought about carrying with you a comforting spirit all the days that you live?

Has it ever entered your mind that you could enjoy a companionship, though unseen, yet powerfully present?

Do you realize that there a constant source of living water that you can enjoy flowing from the depths of you very innermost being? If you do not know about such tranquility and refreshing, please carefully read the following explanation:

A Living Fountain

Jesus said to the Samaritan woman that if she knew the gift of God and who He was, she could ask and receive "living waters." This gift, He said, would be in her "a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life" (John 4:14).

Later Jesus extended the promise to those who would believe in Him, stating that anyone can experience in his heart "rivers of ling waters' (John 7:38). This gift of everlasting life is identified as the Holy Spirit (John 7:39).

In other words, when a person receives the Holy Spirit, he then possesses the "living water." Before His ascension, Jesus told His disciples to go to Jerusalem and wait for the promise of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4-8). This they did. For several days they met in prayer and praise. Then it happened.

A Sound From Heaven

About 120 of His disciples had met early on the Day of Pentecost to wait and worship when a sound of rushing wind from heaven filled the house, and divided tongues, as of fire, came upon each one of them: "And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance" (Acts 2:4). These disciples were so overwhelmed that in spiritual ecstasy they spoke of the wonderful works of God in languages they did not know but that others could understand.

Soon thousands of people were attracted to them by the noise, the wonder of speaking with tongues, and the strange actions of these disciples. "What count this mead?" was the question in the minds of these spectators.

The Apostle Peter answered their questions: God was pouring out His Spirit (Acts 2:17). He told them to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and they also would receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. "For the promise is to you and to your children and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will all" (Acts 2:38-39). On that day, about three thousand people believed on Jesus Christ, were baptized into Him, and received the "living waters" from Him.

From Jerusalem to Everywhere

But the story does not end in Jerusalem or on the Day of Pentecost. Soon those in Samaria received the Holy Spirit; and late the Gentiles in Caesarea where filled with the Spirit. The Apostle Paul fount the "living waters" in Damascus and the Holy Spirit came upon a group of men in Ephesus when Paul prayed for them. Wherever Jesus Christ was preached, people believed and were filled with the Spirit. What happened in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost merely set the pattern for the entire world throughout the church age.

What About Today?

Today millions of people from many nations in our world have received the gift of the Holy Spirit with the same sign of speaking with tongues. They now possess "living waters" that will spring "up into everlasting life"-the guarantee of their inheritance (Ephesians 1:14). The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in them, and He will also raised their mortal bodies from the dead, and they will live eternally with Jesus Christ (Romans 8:11).

What About You?

Have you received the "living waters" into your live? If not, you can by repenting of past sins, being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and asking God for His Spirit. He does not discriminate against anyone: as He has given to others He will give to you.

Are you ready to receive "living waters"? The fountain of everlasting life is yours for the asking.

Mormonism was a religion invented by Joseph Smith in the 19th century.

He was visited by "God the Son" and "God the Father" (who knows what he saw) that said that all religions were an abomination.

Now that contradicts the teaching of Jesus that He would be with His Church until the end of time.

FROM A BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE, to be characterized as a false teacher and a heretic requires more that merely teaching something that is not entirely true. It is not just the teaching that is false; it is also the teacher. He is false. For example, Peter wrote, “There will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies....” This verse equates false teachers with heresies. He went on to say, “By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words...” (2 Peter 2:1,3). He then described these false teachers this way, “Having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, beguiling unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness” (2 Peter 2:14-15).

These verses indicate that false teachers are greedy and exploitive at their core. They exploit people with deceptive words. They beguile those who are unstable (double-minded, see James 1:8). They are covetous and love receiving wages for their unrighteous practices.

In his description of the same kinds of false teachers, Jude wrote, “They mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit” (Jude 16-19). These teachers are sensual, not spiritual, not walking after the Spirit but after their own ungodly lusts.

Paul told Titus that those who serve as the elders-overseers (bishops) of an assembly must be “able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict” (Titus 1:9). He explained that the reason this was important was because “there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain” (v.10-11). Again the idea of greed is brought out. These men taught purely for the sake of dishonest gain. In other words, they taught under false pretenses. It wasn’t just their teachings that were false; they were false!

Paul later instructed Titus, “Reject a divisive man [literally a heretic] after the first and second admonition, knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned” (Titus 3:10-11).

To teach something that does not square 100% with the Scriptures does not necessarily make a person a false teacher or a heretic. Anyone can be mistaken. We are all learning and growing, or so we hope. I know that I believe things today that I was unaware of or mistaken about just a few years back. But I am not trying to take advantage of other people’s weaknesses or enrich myself at their expense. This is not to say that the dissemination of error is a minor matter. Every believer ought to have a Berean spirit, searching the Scriptures daily to see whether the things he is being taught are true. Teachings which are false must be corrected for the sake of maintaining the apostles’ doctrine.

A teacher who is sincerely mistaken can be distinguished from one who is a genuine false teacher by whether or not he has an Apollos spirit. Even though this teacher was “an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures...being fervent in spirit,” his doctrine was incomplete. But when Aquila and Priscilla “took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately,” he immediately corrected his message (Acts 18:24-26). This demonstrated the sincerity and humility of his heart.

Putting this all together from the Scriptures, I believe we can say that the key characteristics of a false teacher-heretic are:

He is warped, which means twisted or misguided.

He is sinning and cannot cease from sin.

He has eyes full of adultery and is self-condemned.

He teaches for the sake of dishonest gain.

He uses covetousness to exploit people with deceptive words.

He flatters people to gain advantage.

He walks according to his own ungodly lusts.

He is sensual (carnal, psychological, out of touch with the Spirit).

He is insubordinate (unwilling to operate under godly authority)

He cause divisions (this is what heretics do).

He does not have the Spirit (though he may claim to be highly anointed).

In contrast, Paul warned the elders of Ephesus, saying, “For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears. So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. I have coveted no one’s silver or gold or apparel” (Acts 20:29-33).

The hallmark of the false teacher is that he is teaching for what he can get out of it. He covets what others have and does not hesitate to deceive and exploit in order to obtain it. In contrast, the true teacher teaches to enlighten and build up the church. He covets no one’s silver or gold or apparel, but instead trusts in God to supply his needs.

Paul summed up the spirit of the true teacher when he wrote, “Now for the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be burdensome to you; for I do not seek yours, but you. For the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. And I will very gladly spend and be spent for your souls; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved. But be that as it may, I did not burden you. Nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you by cunning! Did I take advantage of you by any of those whom I sent to you? I urged Titus, and sent our brother with him. Did Titus take advantage of you? Did we not walk in the same spirit? Did we not walk in the same steps? Again, do you think that we excuse ourselves to you? We speak before God in Christ. But we do all things, beloved, for your edification” (2 Corinthians 12:14-19).

What an awesome example to model our lives and ministries after. We cannot serve both God and mammon!

If you are uncertain then you shouldn't be baptized into anything. You need more knowledge. Tell us, what organization printed the tract?

It looks like someone is wanting your money. However, I still would not be baptized if you are not convinced and steadfast in your resolve to do so. Something is obviously wrong.

Go to this link and read the chapters and when you do, look up the scriptures in your own Bible to see if it is the truth or not and then make up your mind whether you want to be baptized as a Mormon. It all boils down to a choice, yours.

Maybe instead of waiting for other people to tell you what the truth is, you should go do some research and figure it out for yourself. Everyone has their own version of what they think is true. That's why there are, at last count, over 20,000 different sects of Christianity.

Consider reading some books that critically examine the claims of Christianity. You might be surprised how little basis they have in fact.

Whatever path you choose, I hope you find clarity.

First of all Jesus IS TRUTH!! (Mormonism is NOT Christian but a Toxic Cult that Rejects His Holy Deity and the Fact He IS God for starters!!) <')))><

What you need to do is stop getting your religious information in donut shops...or at least starting hanging out at Krispy Kremes instead

Of course Bernie came to your table for a reason...

He saw you with the mormon missionaries and he wants to win.

It's all a big contest. Study religions for yourself and don't worry about people with tracts who are trying for some reason to earn brownie points from god.

You'll find that ALL religions claim to be the "THE TRUE RELIGION"

ALSALAM ALIKOM ..

( And mention in the Book (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW , the story of) Maryam (Mary), when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to a place facing east. She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our Ruh [angel Jibrael (Gabriel)], and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects.

She said: "Verily! I seek refuge with the Most Beneficent (Allah) from you, if you do fear Allah.

" (The angel) said: "I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son."

She said: "How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor am I unchaste?"

He said: "So (it will be), your Lord said: 'That is easy for Me (Allah): And (We wish) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (Allah), and it is a matter (already) decreed, (by Allah).”

the above lines were verses fom Quran which is the words of Allah telling what happened to Marry when she got pregnant with Jesus peace be upon him..

first i feel that you havent been comfortable by being as what that Bernie wants you to be .. and you did not followed what he said from the begining bkz you were searching for the truth .. and yes there is a reason that why you met Bernie that day bkz some one brought him to you to guide you into the incorrect way .. this one who guided him is the satan .. he is our enimey that GOD him self warned us about bkz he is the one who promised to keep people away from GODs real path .. sure there is a way to GOD .. and this way is straight but satan is there to influence people to be away from him.. and guess what its not the mormonism either .. no one can choose GOD by himself and despite his real GOD and creator (ALLAH) almighty and glory to him, this mormonism you are talking about was started by abook published in 1830 regarded by the faith as a supplemental Testament to

the bible .. so what about the years before 1880 ? GOD was there and this idea was invinted by a man , according to what he likes , but in the matter of fact there is a book have been sent from the GOD himself ? i can hear you saying who is he ? our GOD is the creator of this universe , our creator and he knows each one of us more than we do , and he is the creator of the skies and earth , animals . insects, birds, planets , sun , moon , seas, space he is the GOD of this life and the next one , he is the GOD of all messengers Abraham , Moses , Noah , and Jesus and dont be shocked bkz Jesus is a human being just like others , the difference between them that he was born without a father , so what ...GOD was able to create skies and spaces , mountains , and their creation is more difficult than the creation of humanbeing without a father , and remember that Aadam had no parents at all and all of us know that he is a messenger from GOD , and the first lesson GOD wanted us to understand was not to follow the path of satan and that was when our father Aadam was descended from heaven down to earth that was bkz he ate from the tree that GOD told him not to eat from .. and he ate it bkz the satan was whispering him to ..so that he will be grounded .. satan was doing this bkz GOD when created Aadam ordered the angels and all of them to prostrate to Adam ( in a meaning of honour not warshippin ) they all did except satan that is called Iblees then ALLAH asked him why you did not do what i ordered . he answered bkz am better than him you ve created me of fire , and youve created him from ground, so bkz of what he has done GOD almighty and glory to him get him out of heaven but before he was out he asked GOD not to take his soul until the judgement day comes , and when GOD gave him what he wanted he promised him that he will keeps Aadam and his progeny away from GODs path except ALLAHs purified servants .. and thats why he started by whispering to Adam to make him forget what GOD ordered him not to do by eating from the tree ... so GOD is one and there is no one before him and no one after , he was a GOD before 1800 .. and alot of people believed in him bkz they found the truth , the truth is to obey to ( ALLAH) the creator of every thing ) and to believe in his messengers starting from Adam until Mohammad peace and blessings be upon them all including Jesus peace be upon him and Jesus is well liked in islam and muslims do believe in him and they dont differ between him and Mohammad . they are messengers from GOD and there were no a seperate messenger between them .. they knew each other Jesus told his people children of israel that there will be a messnger after him called Mohammad , and Mohammad told us exactly by the Quran that GOD sent to him his story since he was born and what happened to him when the dibelievers wanted to kill him ,and the thing that you dont know most of you that Jesus was not killed , bkz GOD made the disbelievers suspect between him and another one GOD put a similarity in his face with Jesus , and GOD saved him bkz he is his servant and messenger thats all and Jesus was raised to the sky,, and did you know that he will be coming again in the last days of this life to prove what i told you ..!! and he is going to pray with muslims and just like them by the way GOD ordered Mohammad peace and blessings be upon him to do .. Bernie is going to pray to one below the real GOD for you which cant help him or help you either , but i will pray to you to find the straight way where GOD (ALLAH) will be satisfied on you .. and remember each night before you go to sleep ask GOD your creator , the creator of Jesus and Mohammad and every thing ask him to guide you to him , and if you were honest he will take care of the rest... best wishes..

Personally, I'm agnostic. I don't really care either way. Sure, I think life is great and all. But I don't want to support anything that can't be proven or demeans others. My advice is, do what feels right by you. If you like Mormonism, go with it. If you like Christianity, go with it. Good luck.

Go to www.watchtower.org and search any and every subject that you have questions about. See if it makes greater sense to you. I think you will be surprised.
