Question:
Jesus: God’s clone (Christians only please!)?

Question: Is there a released theory about this already?

The answer to your probable question:
Why I believe this:

1.) I am LDS (Mormon), and in our scriptures it says that Jesus is a different person than God, and that he’s the exact image.
2.) Mary was a virgin. Today’s cloning involves a woman giving birth to it. (I’m not an expert on cloning, but I know this as a fact.)

Mary was a virgin and Jesus wasnt a clone of God just another form of God. I'm glad your asking and your open to ideas.

Hi Jupitori,

I'm a non-denominational Christian. Here's what I was taught about Jesus. Before I officially became a Christian in 1990, I always thought that Jesus was different from God too. When I pledged a Christian fraternity(Alpha Gamma Omega) in 1990, I was told by my chaplain that Jesus and God are the same person. I asked,"How can Jesus be God if He's the Son of God?" That confused me. I always thought that Jesus was the Son of God but not God Himself. My frat chaplain said that Jesus is both God and the Son of God because God gave up a part of Himself in the form of man when Jesus was born. God, of course, still existed in Heaven when Jesus was on Earth. The human part of God,Jesus, was thus the Son of God. The part of God in Heaven was and is The Father. The Holy Spirit is the part of God that communicates among Christians and between Christians and God in Heaven. Many Christians believe in The Trinity, which is one God in 3 persons-Father,Son, and Holy Spirit.

I'm not sure that I understand what you said in #2. Mary, according to the Bible, was the birth mother of Jesus. Like you said, she was a virgin. She gave birth to Jesus by being impregnated by The Holy Spirit. I don't believe cloning had anything to do with it.By the way, I think cloning is a horrible thing. Scientists don't have the right to play God by creating other forms of life by messing around with cells in a lab. I think cloning should be outlawed. I hope people never get cloned, and I definitely wouldn't want to be cloned! I'm getting off a rant here, but only God should create life!

I hope I helped answer your question.

Your church teaches that God was once a man and that he progressed to become God and therefore all humans can become gods too.

The Bible does not teach this at all. The Bible teaches that "God is spirit" John 4:24 and Jesus taught that "a spirit hath not flesh and bones" Luke 24:39

Your church also teaches that Jesus and Lucifer were brothers. The Bible does not teach that at all.

The Bible teaches that Jesus was there in the beginning with God. John 1:1-3; Gensis 1:26.

Jesus became a man so He could live a perfect life and die on the cross for the sins of every person who has ever lived.

He rose from the dead on the 3 day to show us the bonds of sin had been broken.

Jesus and the Father are supposed to be different persons and one God.

Human reproducive cloning is producing a replica of the cell but the DNA will be the same age (ie. a new born infant will have DNA as old as the cloner). Jesus was obviously not a female, so He was not cloned from Mary. His birth is supposed to be a miracle.

Hopet his helps!

You post a Question and hope only that a Christian will answer it hahahaha you are a nieve person aren't you ??

1) i am an ( Atheist)

2) Cloning wasn't known in those days, and neither were the operations that we have today,if the were then doctors would have been able to cure a lot of people without amputation of their limbs!! your Christians Gods have a lot to answer for throughout history,Christ was supposed to heal all the sick ?? Instead( IT ) lets them die,IT is supposed to help the lame walk,so where is IT when you need it to answer you prayers, you are the only ones that can do that as ( IT ) is as non existat as the MARTIAN !!

Yes. If Yahweh cloned Himself through a human female than what would that make the offspring? The Son of God who everyone else thought was the son of Joseph. That will become the new theory of the whole world.

Jesus was most certainly the clone of God the Father according to the most recent compelling evidence presented by science, history and the Bible. This verifies the Trinitarian model that has been previously regarded as a "mystery", and widely thought of as implausible. For a comprehensive, detailed, and totally supported exploration of this new model, buy and read my new book published at the end of 2015. It is available in Foyles and other bookshops, or online at Amazon and Fast Print Publishing, etc.

Jesus is no clone,

He is 100% God and 100% man / the incarnate of God.

cloning is not an exacting science, it is not true to use the term clone, as God gave every man his own spirit, and no two are the same.

If you beleive the KJV, then you would confirm this as true, that no two are created the same.

Dolly the "cloned" sheep was not an exacting clone, you can verify it if you would be wise and if yuo so wish.

Jesus Was First Of All Creation; So Jehovah Created Him In the Heavens Long Before He Existed On Earth.

Prehuman Existence. The person who became known as Jesus Christ did not begin life here on earth. He himself spoke of his prehuman heavenly life. (Joh 3:13; 6:38, 62; 8:23, 42, 58) John 1:1, 2 gives the heavenly name of the one who became Jesus, saying: “In the beginning the Word [Gr., Lo′gos] was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god [“was divine,” AT; Mo; or “of divine being,” Böhmer; Stage (both German)]. This one was in the beginning with God.” Since Jehovah is eternal and had no beginning (Ps 90:2; Re 15:3), the Word’s being with God from “the beginning” must here refer to the beginning of Jehovah’s creative works. This is confirmed by other texts identifying Jesus as “the firstborn of all creation,” “the beginning of the creation by God.” (Col 1:15; Re 1:1; 3:14) Thus the Scriptures identify the Word (Jesus in his prehuman existence) as God’s first creation, his firstborn Son.

Your reasoning is the specific reason why the Doctrine of the Trinity is so central, and vital to the Christian faith. The Spirit of God, wrapped in human flesh = Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.

Isaiah 9:6 says the Son is the Father and the counselor.

Jesus is not a clone of God, He is God the Son (God), but He was in the flesh at the time!

Mary was indeed a pure virgin, I dont understand what your are trying to ask though!

Please read John chapter one verse one;

"In the begining was the Word( the Word of God- Jesus) and the Word was with God and the Word WAS GOD."

Not was A god, or a part of God or a clone of God or an Image of God, but WAS GOD!

Now, let`s see, when were your "scriptures" written, because this TRUTH was written about 2000 years ago, hmmm, which do you think is accurate?

If Jesus was a clone that would make cloning acceptable ...but that goes against the teachings-> Life comes from love between man and woman... does it not

Are you afraid of Muslims? or afraid of Truth? I also believe in God and Jesus but I know that Jesus was only a prophet of God. You are not going to say that Adam was also a clone of God and so he is also God, are you? If you allow non-christians to answer I can provide you more information for your intellectual satisfaction.

Yeah, it took so long because the Heavenly Senate thought it was immoral to clone another being and tied up funding for a number of years.

And you don't have to be a virgin to give birth to something implanted in you.

I didn't find any conspiracy theories about Jesus being a clone, although I did find some about cloning Jesus himself.

Cloning is a act of Man

The Divine Birth of Jesus was by God

two different things all together

Just to be clear, our scripture doesn't claim that Christ is "the exact image". You're making assumptions and taking liberties that you shouldn't.

It's generally believed that Christ's DNA was half from his Father (God) and half from his mother, and thereby not God's clone.

I see you put stipulations on who answers you question, why? I am pagen and I want to answer so.... Do you really think Mary was a virgin? I mean if it were today everyone would just say "Idon't think so". Maybe she just was artificially inseminated. No offense, but the ppl back then were pretty ignorant.
2008-02-27 20:12:32 UTC
Artificial Insemination solves the problem of the virgin birth, as for human cloning, no one knows enough about it yet to really answer your question.
2008-02-27 20:18:00 UTC
really interesting theory! I'm LDS and I don't see how it's supported doctrinally, but maybe this or artificial insemiation etc can explain the virgin mother thing... although i'm inclined to think there was a more spiritual side to it...

Good thought, **except**

Jesus existed in heaven BEFORE being born on earth. He's called the Firstborn of all creation.
2008-02-27 20:10:01 UTC
Jesus is the physical manifestation of the spiritual Father. they are both God in both realms. God the Father is glorified in His Son, and all who glorify the Son glorify the Father. in a way you're kinda right. but that isn't all there is.

Jesus is Immanual. God with us. John 10:30 states I and my Father are one.
2008-02-27 20:10:00 UTC
you dont qualify then cuz you dont believe in the TRinity...

THEY ARE BOTH PART OF GOD THE TRINITY...

why are you preaching? we dont need it
