Hi
I've been a bit concerned, I'm not sure if I can have communion tomorrow at the Good Friday service because I think I might've mortally sinned. I am not sure if I have masturbated or not, I didn't take it on Sunday.

I do not see how your not sure that you did this, you either did or didn`t commit a sin of impurity with yourself.

Before you can do anything you must be sure of what you did and if you have sinned then the answer is simple, go to confession.

Traditionally no communion is served on Good Friday.

Masturbation is not a mortal sin. I believe the church only really disapprove if you are married and "wasting it" though that's not terribly logical since there are millions of new sperm produced all the time.

....um, I'm not sure how you could be confused about whether or not you masturbated....? I don't think that's a mortal sin, though.

You could always go to confession and repent and then you'd be perfectly free to go to communion.

Tell you a good fix for all your woes. Go to communion tomorrow and when they give you the bread (cracker), reach out and take all of them and stuff them in your mouth. Then, grab the wine and drink the whole cup dry. Belch really loud so that it echoes throughout the whole of the congregation. Then, in a really loud voice, say the following, "DAMN! JESUS TASTES REALLY GOOD TODAY!!!"
