God is a gentleman and does not force us to love Him. What kind of loving relationship would that be?



I'm not saying that hard truths are not needed at times, but bashing people is not the way. Think about Jesus and how, during His ministry, He attracted followers. Did he berate them, and bash them over the head with his Torah? No. He demonstrated Gods loving-kindness in a real way.

Yeah but hell will be so cool with all the people who think, they will probably develop air conditioning, rain control, power generation equipment and have a multitude of classes and technologies.

In contrast, the people in heaven will rely entirely on the Bible, things will break down and the Christians will all strut around, each holier than the next, looking down their noses, interpreting their Bibles in their own idiosyncratic ways to leverage greatest personal advantage, bickering about arcane, trivial details and plotting to kill those who are of other sects.

The reason that some do not believe in the Bible is that the fundamental premise of an all powerful God establishing really dumb criteria to get into heaven is impossible to believe. Some do not believe because the Bible is contradictory, illogical, irrational and some of the statements fly in the face of empirical evidence to the contrary.

God needs to edit and revise the Bible, making it more consistent with reality, changing the rules of heaven admission, and writing in a style that does not require interpretation.

I believe in something but the problem with the bible is it was written by man. God did not say one day "Let there be biblical texts" and there was biblical texts. It was written by man. That is why different religions read it and decipher it totally differently. You have to take it with a grain of salt. I own A bible and I have read it. Just because I don't believe all of it doesn't mean I Am a bad person and going to burn in hell. You are passing judgment on people without knowing them. I believe that if YOU do not change and stop passing judgment on people that YOU are going to burn in hell. Non- believers for you may be having their own beliefs. Why do we not respect others beliefs?This probably is the root cause of all troubles. If every person wishes others who are not a co-coreligionists to burn in Hell, we all can comfortably burn in hell and perish! So Heaven will be empty. So you see, the argument is flawed. The truth for a rationalist like me(belief only based on scientific evidence) is that I am not sure of Hell and Heaven. I am certain of one thing. That is death. So clearly I would like to spend my time on this planet Earth happily not hurting anyone or their feelings and help others if possible one day at a time. This is not to say I do not like religions. I love Quran as much as I adore Bible or Bhagavadgita. I try to take the best teachings and apply as much as possible to my life to make it enjoyable for me and to others as well.

I personally worship the Lord who is my savior and accept the bible as my guide through this journey of life however, using scare tactics will not convert non believers. Just continue spreading the word of God without threats of "burning in hell".

God creates people. He certainly loses an x amount of people to Hell because definitely there are those who dont believe in the Holy Bible or in Jesus. So in the end he ends up with lesser number of people in Hevaen than he created in the first place.
