Question:
At the expense of religion I hope to make you laugh?

I'm not Religious. I think all religions is a crock

I don't understand the whole concept of telepathically communicating with a man in the sky.

Should I be in a long term relationship with an all powerful space daddy, who will after I die, party with my ghost forever?

I might as well believe in Eywa from Avatar.

People just believe because they want comfort, but that comfort comes at a GREAT price.
WARS, GREED, HATE etc...

I could sit here and give examples from all religions bout how outlandish and ridicules.

So why do you believe?

Comfort is not the only reason people choose to believe. I believe because God is all-powerful, omnipotent, omnipresent. He watches over those who love Him. He sent His Son to die for us to save us from eternal separation from Him, which is death. He has saved me, He has saved countless others, and miracle after miracle has been presented to believers.

Wars, greed, and hate come from MEN, not God. If you would stop paying attention to wolves in sheep's clothing and took a look at real Christians who practice what they preach, you'd be surprised.

Wars, Greed and Hate would exist without the belief of a God in the sky. It would exist because of the belief that our own opinions are right and everyone should think how we think.

If this was a joke, I suggest that you don't give up your day job (no offense)

I believe that people who spout off about religion do so because they are ALLOWED to spout off about religion. This is because (well, at least it's the case for the U.S., which is where I assumed you were from), we have FREEDOMS. And these FREEDOMS came at a price. These prices for YOUR FREEDOMS: WARS, GREED, HATE, etc...

Wars, greed, hate, etc, etc already exist in the heart of man and an evil man will use whatever tools he can to gain power in order to further his own goals. You judge a religion based on what it teaches, not what corrupt men do in order to further their own desires.

That would be intellectual dishonesty. And I never find that funny.

God bless

Without religion there would be more wars, greed and hate. Religion encourages people to bring these baser natures under control.

I believe because I need a sense of spiritual comfort in this life. If I didn't have spiritual comfort, I'd be the most evil, nastiest ***** that was ever born.

I believe that as you have all the answers, you shouldn't be bothering us.

Naturally, I totally disagree with your assessment of what God is all about. I wonder what you use to fill your spiritual void?

I agree with you completely
