Would any modern Muslim today EVER challenge the Quran?

The bible and quran speak of goats and camels, traditions that are no longer followed, habits that are no longer common, as well as food, clothing and modes of transportation that are now obsolete, especially in Europe and North America.

Christians have become more civilized as the centuries have passed but what about Muslims? Will Islam ever evolve to conform with the times, with the 21st century, or will it forever behead people, beat "disobedient" women and believe their religion is perfect and will one day dominate the world?

Some think that Islam right now is going through its own "dark ages" after it was the enlightenment of the intellectual world during Christianity's Dark Ages. I think the Muslim world can only move forward from here since nothing bad lasts forever. If Islam was a murderous and barbaric religion than it would have in no way lasted this long.

The real problem is Wahhabism which is a very strict and stupid form of Islam founded in Saudi-Arabia by a crazy desert Arab called al-wahhab. These are the Muslims who beat disobedient women, strive to dominate the world with Wahhabism and even kill Muslims who don't agree with them.

Don't ever give up on the majority of Muslims who are willing to join you against Saudi-Wahhabist terrorism. Above all, they are a disease for Islam



You have a perfect example of how irritated we are with having to deal with so much ignorance on our religion in the answerer above me. Please just learn a little bit more about Islam before making judgements and most importantly, don't judge Islam by the Saudis and the terrorists they breed

goats and camels arent traditions, theyre animals. the food mentioned in the Quran are still eaten today and are found to have medicinal properties.

it doesnt speak of certain clothing. just modesty (which never goes out of fashion)

i dont believe there is a mention of mode of transport.

behead people? are you sure you've 'read' the real Quran?

a lot of the stuff you're talking about is based on traditions and customs of certain countries and fabricated sayings of the prophet (if you read the Quran you will find that God has forbidden muslims from following these scripts)

Salam :) i'm a Muslim teen residing in Canada. I placed on hijab alhamdullilah and it incredibly is for the main area nicely-known right here on the grounds that i stay in a great city with a massive Muslim inhabitants. I do get the few ignorant comments and idiots in college although who ask stuff like "yo have been given a bomb under there hahaha". however the toughest area is being different out of your pals. Being a Muslim, events, alcohol dating boys wearing revealing outfits etc is haram, and whilst i do no longer choose to do this besides, it incredibly is slightly awkward to could desire to describe why i do no longer do it to those who evaluate it in elementary terms a ingredient of being a young person and its ordinary to them. civilization doesn't mean to modernize our religion this is the fault was made in some religions .. look at civilization and what it made us do women are comodities now their bodies are easy to approach or abuse.. the theory of outdated religion you need to rethink again about it .. isn't this civilization is what made people fight with nuclear and chemical weapons think again about harassements, abuse and a hell of other things we live in today

also for me islam didn't prevent me from succeeding at work 5 years ago i was a manager my task force consisted of both men and women i lived in an apartment bymyself with my own money i became a manager when i was 28 or 27 islam didn't prevent me from achieving anything i wanted we wear what we want but it should be decent is this hard to absorb (the decent theory became outdated! )

women by nature if they are not satisfied they have the right to ask for divorce it is not like in other religions

Edit: i believe the current civilization you mentioned made women suffer sleeping with sleeping bills (while muslims just say some Qur'aan and they fell into deep sleep!) other bills for anxiety, other bills for depression and a hell of bills there must be something wrong going on and deep inside you you know that you know what's wrong you know that women (by this beautiful, delicate, sensetive design) were created not to struggle and suffer to earn money to fight with men (i'm not against working by the way i used to be a workholic woman)

i discovered that women are more strong in other things to take care of multiple things at a single time, they are emotionally powerful they can love the entire earth a hell of other things just make a brainstroming and match we were created for another mission to support, love, help, give lives (not birth because birth is limited in my opinion)



Edit: about beating women it has nothing to do with islam it is related with anger and bad traditions Qur'aan just said do not beat them hard (if you searched this you will find this in only one case as the last solution when a wife became a rebel or something like that and started not to give the man his rights only in this case and the prophet make it clear that women shouldn't be beaten at all this is the good human who will do that) this is an ewtreme way if the woman gone too far that's all and the prophet stressed on not to beat them .. in islam beating is not a solution to anything at all .. the prophet told muslims in his last speech to take care of women (not the opposite) to be honest islam came to free women if you try to know more you will find that



concerning to obey or not think about it is somebody gave you a diamond ring what would you do what about your life, your whole body and mind, this earth and universe, your family and friends what about the god who gave you all of this doesn't he worth appreciation and to obey him .. if you really believed he will tell you what's right for you you will have peace inside and will see the truth just try



Edit: the domination theory it is not an invasion or a competition it is that the truth will be realized sooner or later that god sent all religions gradually to tell humans about their god, their mission on earth, and how to be good humans till it ended up with islam the most sophisticated one it is a way of life more than a religion.. the way of life in which god gave you the 'best' for all humans isn't this just great!



Edit: a muslim is the one who doesn't harm anyone even by his mouth isn't this what we humans all need! islam told us it is all about manners are manners are outdated? you just need to know more about Qur'aan and islam to find out is it really outdated or not
