BEFORE I BECOME A CHRISTIAN AGAIN..I NEED ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS..(DINOSAURS DISPROVE BIBLE?) PLEASE READ ALL AND HELP.?

I want to become a Christian again, but I have questions first..ANSWER THEM ALL PLEASE.

1.There is proof for evolution,I can't just deny it and say it didn't happen when there is proof (Fossils) so what does one do? How does one be a Christian and also accept proven facts?
2.Don't dinosaurs DISPROVE the Bible? The Bible says God made everything in 6 days..Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago and died out 65mya..This literally proves it's wrong..Dinosaurs also evolved into birds..
3.I have trouble believing in Adam and Eve,and the Ark thing..And a lot of things in the Bible..So this makes me wonder if all these other things are untrue and seem insane, why isn't all of it untrue?
4.What makes the Bible soo special from other religious books? Why this one? What makes it any different? And also who wrote it and how do we know they didn't make this stuff up?
5.Why doesn't God talk to people anymore? Why did a bush/and a donkey speak? People rising from the dead?
6.If God used evolution to create us,then that makes no sense; If he is an all powerful being, why not just make us in human form from the start? Why let us evolve over millions of years then suddenly he is like "Oh this animal is special from all others"..And then the Bible says man is special and not an animal,so this means God didn't use evolution,if he did, then why did we suddenly stop being an animal and become made in God's image?..The Bible contradicts to much..Also Christmas is pagan.

1. The vast majority of Christians accept Evolution, and other sciences. Science, and religion are complimentary, NOT in conflict.

2. How do dinosaurs disprove the Bible? Theologians consider the Creation story "myth," that is, a story about truth but for which the details may not be. We can learn a lot from it, all while acknowledging that things did not actually happen that way.

3. Adam, and Eve may be the earliest recorded Hebrews, but, they were NOT the first human beings. The Noah story is actually two stories put together. Look up the P, and J sources. Interesting to see the stories when they are separated.

4. The Bible books have just over 40 human authors, who wrote over some 1500 years. Since then, it's books have had between 1900-3400 years of intensive study. Problem areas are well known.

5. He does - I've heard Him. The bush, and the donkey spoke once - bushes, and donkey's can't speak. That it happened at all was so remarkable that the stories were written down. People rising from the dead is pretty rare, but, it has happened.

6. Why do you question God? Why wouldn't He use evolution? It is pretty clear that He did! The Bible does NOT say man is not an animal. Humans are what we are, thanks to God, and evolution. Christmas is a Christian thing, but the timing was the same as a pagan festival. Over hundreds of years, all sorts of non-Christian things have been added to it - because of culture. It is still fundamentally a Christian thing though.

You have a LOT to learn about Christianity!

To answer these questions before you become a Christian again, and learn that dinosaurs do NOT disprove the Bible, you'll need to study the Bible for the purpose of understanding it, rather than taking on faith what some preacher tells you that the Bible means. For example:

"King James Bible

The Beginning

(John 1:1-5)

1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The First Day: Light

3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day." - Genesis 1 (KJV)

Heaven and earth were created in, "The Beginning", before the, "The First Day". Therefore, the "days" of Genesis 1 are not relevant to the age of earth, so let Astrophysics and Geophysics answer that.

While heaven, and presumably, all the stars were created, "In the beginning", the sun and moon were not put in place to mark days until the fourth "day". Therefore, how long were the "days" of Genesis 1, considering that there had been no sun there to mark the "days"? The Bible doesn't answer that, so let Paleontology answer that.

1) There can be 'proof' of a lot of things that don't turn out to be true. I studied biology, and much on the theory of evolution in particular. I found that the theory doesn't hold water when the details are fleshed out, but really the bigger issue is that there will always be reasons to doubt because that is one of the tools of the devil, and deception was introduced in the Garden of Eden.

The answer is that truth comes from God. It is something a person can seek for Him to give you. Although it usually utilizes logic, it doesn't come primarily from intellect or it would be only the intellectuals who could come to know God. In fact you really need to read 1 Corinthians 1. At some point you have to choose it because you've been given enough to overcome the doubt. Sort of like how you might know your best friend would never commit a particular crime even though the media keeps insisting it could happen.

2) See number one. Again, it comes down to if you know God well enough to overcome the doubts. There are answers, but they would just get in your way if you try to approach the issue from the physical before the spiritual is settled. As a science teacher I'm actually rather dying to explain a few things, but this lesson is more important.

3) A properly used logic. But again the answer has to come from God first. You cannot get there by the physical.

4) Because it is true, but I suspect your real question is more like "How do you know this is the one to read?" I used to wonder this one myself and couldn't answer until someone I encountered asked me, and the spiritual source kicked in. This one because God is directing you to it. Only a God that is real can direct you to their book.

5) Oh but He does! I just gave you an example on the last answer. Jesus said that his sheep hear his voice, know it, and will not follow a stranger. This is related to the spiritual source, but not exactly the same. He speaks in many ways and differently to different people, and about different things based on the role he made them for. For example, He gives me insight into my students. If I encounter a difficult situation and don't know what to do, I just ask Him what we need to do, and suddenly I'll have a new insight. Sometimes he speaks in thought language (so does the devil btw, the 'stranger'). Other times it will be events like when a phone call suddenly interrupts your prayer. Other times people will have a word or idea for you that is actually from God. The better you know God, the better you will recognize his voice.

I know of one modern account of an animal miraculously talking. I have only heard on tv or in missionary stories of God raising the dead, but I fully expect to see it in the future.

6. I don't believe he did, but I've heard that artists relate better to that theory.

7. The meanings don't contradict, just our understanding of them. This is why we are supposed to read the Bible with Holy Spirit, and not just our logic. He will often show me things I missed in the context.

8. Wow! Good for you for knowing that one; many Christians just blindly follow local tradition. God told my church to either celebrate it as a secular holiday or make it all about him for that reason; He doesn't like the mixing. Modern church structure is pagan too, by the way. To some extent God uses it anyway because that is what exists, but it isn't what he had in mind. He called me out but says He will be using some churches. (Note how I use the word 'church' differently in each place here. That would be an example for #7 of why there are contradictions in the Bible.)

I don't think it's the bible that's contradicting itself. I think when you put what's taught in the word is what's contradicting the bible. One of them has to be the truth. Look at the world today.. Look at the people who run our county. Look at the people who pretty much run the world. They're the ones who's pushing evolution in schools. Look at them. They will lie to your face. They will do anything and say anything to get a position then when they get there they lie to your face. So you have them pushing evolution and contradicting the bible. If these people will lie to you about little things what makes you think they won't lie to you about bigger things. Who was the first liar? Satan. And yes I don't celebrate Christimas or any "christian holi days. They're all pagan. What's differant about the bible is well once again look at the world today. Every other religion is tolerated more than one. Which one is it? Everything that Jesus said would happen is happening today. It's almost happening to the T which is really interesting.

Too many questions, not enough room.

1. Do not let the small groups of Atheist extremists and Creationist Christians make you believe that you have to choose between God and humanities ongoing discovery of God's Creation through Science. This is not true.

Truth cannot contradict Truth. -- Pope Leo XIII

I have found there is a wonderful harmony in the complementary truths of science and faith. The God of the Bible is also the God of the genome. God can be found in the cathedral or in the laboratory. By investigating God's majestic and awesome creation, science can actually be a means of worship.

-- Francis Collins, geneticist and director of the Human Genome Project

Most Jews and Christians do not take the stories of creation in the Bible literally. We believe the stories included in first 11 chapters of Genesis tell religious truth but not necessarily historical fact.

One of the religious truths is that God created everything and declared all was good.

Catholics can believe in the theories of the big bang or evolution or both or neither.

On August 12, 1950 Pope Pius XII said in his encyclical Humani generis:

The Teaching Authority of the Church does not forbid that, in conformity with the present state of human sciences and sacred theology, research and discussions, on the part of men experienced in both fields, take place with regard to the doctrine of evolution, in as far as it inquires into the origin of the human body as coming from pre-existent and living matter - for the Catholic faith obliges us to hold that souls are immediately created by God.

Here is the complete encyclical: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/pius_xii/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-xii_enc_12081950_humani-generis_en.html

And here is the Address of Pope John Paul II to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences on October 22, 1996 speaking of the Theory of Evolution: http://www.newadvent.org/library/docs_jp02tc.htm

Here is an interesting article about Pope John Paul II's opinion in the matter: http://www.americamagazine.org/content/article.cfm?article_id=4627

The Church supports science in the discovery of God's creation. At this time, the big bang and evolution are the most logical scientific explanations.

As long as we believe that God started the whole thing, both the Bible and responsible modern science can live in harmony.

Your mind is going in way too many different directions.

Pray, repent. Ask God to enter your heart and He will. He will forgive you and will calm all the unnecessary stresses you have in your life. He will bring inner peace to your soul.

God does not leave the faithful ones alone. He will not let your soul perish, He will be there for you.

A calm, patient, silent heart listens and hears the most.

One, the six days of creation were in God's timeframe not ours since there was no sun and no earth revolving on its axis for a 24 hour day (as we see it).

Adam was created at the beginning of this age----this age will last 6000 years and on the seventh day we will rest from our works and reign with Jesus (if we are saved).

I have found trilobite fossils in my backyard. God cannot lie and there is a time for everything.

Look at the lineage of Jesus. It does go back to Noah and to Adam.

Believe in the flood and the ark. The Bible doesn't lie.

You need to seek the truth, now---not assume your beliefs are the truth.

God is real. See for yourself by answering the following questions:

Slowly answer one question before moving to the next.

Number 1: Are the Jews are real people. If you answer, "Yes", then move to question #2.

Number 2: Why the Jews are called "Jews". If you don't know, look to the Bible where the Jews are called Jews because they descended from the tribe of Judah.

Genesis 29:35 She conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said, “This time I will praise the LORD.” So she named him Judah. Then she stopped having children. NIV

Look and see if there is any other answer. There isn't any acceptable answer for the truth is accepted by the world.

Number 3: Now that the Jews are real people and they are in the Bible, ask yourself why Jews don't take Jesus as Lord and Savior and why they don't believe Jesus is the Messiah.

If you don't know, the answer is that the Jews holy text, the Tanakh/Old Testament was written before the coming of Jesus. This helps provide proof that the whole Bible (Old Testament/New Testament) were not written at the same time.

Now if we know that the Old Testament and the New Testament were not written at the same time, then the prophecies and foreshadowings of the Old Testament could not have been made up. Rather, they were made in advance and fulfilled later on. The fulfilled prophecies and foreshadowings are THE ULTIMATE PROOF of GOD.

What are some prophecies and foreshadowings given by God in the Tanakh/Old Testament that have come to be fulfilled, he may ask.

Now let's look at the Tanakh/Old Testament foreshadowings/prophecies concerning Jesus.

1) Messiah was to be born in Bethlehem---Micah 5:2

2) the King/Messiah was to bring salvation was to ride into Jerusalem on an donkey, upon a colt, the foal of an donkey-----Zechariah 9:9

3) the price of Jesus' betrayal was told to be 30 pieces of silver, told who would end up with the money (the potter), and where the silver would be cast (the house of the Lord-----Zechariah 11:13

4) that the hands and feet would be pierced-----Psalm 22:16

5) that He would be born of a virgin---Isaiah 7:14

6) that He would be pierced for our transgressions---Isaiah 53:5

7) that He would die with wicked, be assigned a rich man's grave, though He had done no violence or said anything deceitful---Isaiah 53:9

One foreshadowing fulfilled by Jesus is the Passover Lamb.

The Passover lamb died on the 14th of Nisan. Its' blood was placed on the door frames of the Israelites homes to protect the Israelites from the angel of death and the plague of the first born males. Those that had faith that the blood of the lamb would save them (the Israelites) were protected from physical death. The Egyptians, who did not have faith in the blood, died. No bones were to be broken on the Passover lamb.

Jesus, the true Passover Lamb, died on the 14th of Nisan. Those who have faith in the blood of Jesus to save them will be spared of spiritual death. Those who do not believe will suffer spiritual death/eternal torment in the lake of fire. No bones were broken on Jesus.

One foreshadowing you may not have known of is the names of the first ten descendants/genealogy of Jesus.

Look at the genealogy from Adam to Noah.

God always rewards the diligent student. Let us examine this chapter more closely. In our Bible, we read the Hebrew names. What do these names mean in English?

The Composite List

Now let's put it all together:

Hebrew--English

Adam-----------Man

Seth-------------Appointed

Enosh-----------Mortal

Kenan------------Sorrow;

Mahalalel-----------The Blessed God

Jared-----------------Shall come down

Enoch-----------------Teaching

Methuselah-------------His death shall bring

Lamech-------------------The Despairing

Noah------------------------Rest, or comfort.

Let's put the message/foreshadowing together, now.

Man (is) appointed mortal sorrow; (but) the Blessed God shall come down teaching (that) His death shall bring (the) despairing rest.

There is the good news of Jesus in the genealogy from Adam to Noah.

So there is proof that Jesus is the Son of God from the Tanakh/Old Testament which was written hundreds of years before the birth of Jesus.

One fulfilled prophecy that was recently fulfilled was the Isaiah 9:10 prophecy that the best-selling book the Harbinger was about.

This prophecy was fulfilled by Tom Daschle and John Edwards after the 9/11 attack.

Go to you-tube and see the videos of the speeches.

You have things to ponder now.

The only reasonable response is that the Bible is God's gift to mankind to show us what God wants from us and how he expects us to act and what the future is.

God wants us to know that Jesus/Yeshua is the Son of God and is the Savior of the world.

No one can get eternal life/heavenly life without faith in Jesus and repentance of our sinful ways.

We are all sinners and unless we have faith in Jesus, his blood cannot pay the penalty for our sins. The result is an eternal existence without God and his blessings. It is pure torment.

Believe the truth. Jesus and the Bible are the truth.
