I saw her question when she posted it. To tell you the truth, I have no good suggestions. I'm not much into "joining" myself, so I guess in a way I can be described as being slightly anti-social. I'm not unfriendly, just not outgoing. I wish I could help, though.

I would say about 80% of the time, I post a short and simple answer, usually containing some part sarcasm. About 10% of the time, I give an answer that is well thought out, or from the heart. They are usually long and conversational, but I generally hope these answers speak to the person I'm answering. I answer these 10% seriously and with all honestly. The other 10% are sarcastic asshole remarks to complete morons on the Y!A threads.
So, I do. I answer serious questions seriously, mostly. I assume by serious you mean "Life" questions: questions that deal with someones actually well being, either physically or mentally.

Some days ago I posted serious question on the Problem of Evil from philosophical point of view. It got great thoughtful answers. The next day it got deleted on violation notice. I was like what??
I might as well post questions about masturbation sins lol.

The posted link led to a question that was not topical.
The O.P. admitted she just wanted more answers, and as such posted in R&S.
Ridicule is warranted.
(...A sad story is no excuse. Yes, I sound cold, but there is a reason for subdividing Answers into topical forums. Let this go, and more spam occurs.
It is a problem that grows if left unchecked.)

But why? Answering the ridiculous questions is what makes life interesting.

Whenever I do, I get reported. Why bother?
See? Thumbs down for being serious.

Good job. I gave you a (b) up.
Peace out.
