Why do Evangelical Christians hate Gays and Lesbians so much?

The words homosexual and sodomite do not even exist in the Greek language (the language the Bible was translated from) and were introduced into the Bible in 1947. Men translated the Bible and men make mistakes. Also if being gay is a choice heterosexuality must be a choice as well. I have never met an Evangelical Christian who can truthfully tell me when they chose to be straight. Ones sexual orientation is not a choice and how would an Evangelical know anyway unless they were born gay? The bottom line is Evangelical Christians have blood on their hands for making gay people feel bad about themselves. Sometimes these gay people kill themselves as a direct result of Evangelical Christian behavior towards them. If you are an Evangelical, you have blood on your hands and will be judged accordingly.

They are not practicing true Christianity which teaches tolerance and love. Who wants to go to a church where hatred of others is the main agenda? It would just be a hate group and we know hatred will get you nowhere. If they have money they believe they can behave any way they want. But If you love God you should also love and be generous to all people.

actually, the bible was translated from latin.

the bible is written in a spiritual literature. of course, this can be taken for different opinions, and it doesnt help that it was translated and there is no real version of the bible to be adapted upon, but that's the truth.

you don't choose to be straight, just like you think you can't be chosen to be gay. straight people thinkt eh way they do.

-evengelicism is the belief of everything in the bible. since the bible says that all men are created equal, and then also says that god hates gays, then evangelicstic christians dont know what to believe, and will usually just not care much about the subject. i think you're refering to catholicism

overall, it sounds like you hardly researched anything, and if you did, you only read one side of the story; gays. most of the christian church is founded upon the christians using means of calling opposite cultures of christianity satanism and/or homosexuality because they wanted christianity to become supreme over europe.

Leveticus 18 verse 22 states that a man should not have sex with a man as he would a woman for it (and the same goes for women) is a detestable sin



In my opinion there are 2 types of gay the one that goes all the way and the ones just for teasing it is ok to act gay as in just to show bro-ship but i am not really ok with people who go all the way you know?

The preachers in church are just following what they learned in the bible

I don't hate anyone, including gays and lesbians, and my rejection of their perverted behavior doesn't change that fact. Make no mistake about it, homosexuality is a choice. However it's not a choice in the way you're thinking about it.



No one wakes up in the morning and says " I think I'll turn homosexual today " And there is no doubt in my mind that gays and lesbians have real desire for those of the same sex. Where the choice comes in is recognizing those desires for the perversion they are and choosing to resist them and get the help and spiritual counseling they need to overcome them.

I guess they put gays and lesbians because the pastors said so and they pick and chose scripture to reinforce their believes, much like hatred of interracial couples was popular fifty years ago and hatred of blacks one hundred years ago. It matters not to them that God said he is the judge, not man. It matters not to them that Jesus said above all love your neighbor. They have lost all compassion to anyone not like them.

I disagree with their lifestyles.

But I also disagree with heterosexuals having multiple partners too.
