A course in miracles?

Hi I was wondering what some of you folks would think about how this (A course in miracles) is presented. The link is (http://acim.org/index.html) It is from a Christian book. What you need to do after you get to the site is: Click on (lessons) then scroll down to (lesson selector) And pick the first lesson. The lessons really don't start with revealing god until about the lesson 29. The lessons up till that are pretty much showing you how to clear your minds of thoughts and to reprogram yourself to open up to how miracles happen. There are 365 lessons, and you are supposed to do a lesson a day. It is very interesting and i believe parts of it are very well expressed.
So if you decide to check it out please let me know what you think about it. Thanks

Sorry that you got so many answers from people who don't truly understand what miracles are.



Yep, it works. I have been studying it for 11 years and every time that I pick it up it teaches me something new and important.

According to the bible, there are no more miracles being done. Since the bible was finished being written in 95 A.D. God tells us that Satan will come as an angel of light showing many signs and wonders.



2 Corinthians 11:14-15

14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.







2 Thessalonians 2:9

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,



Matthew 24:24

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.



People say "no, God is still showing signs and wonders" but how do we know its from God? because they are good? No, because the bible says satan comes as an angel of light to show signs and wonders. So how do we know? Because the bible tells us. Its satan and the false prophets who are showing the signs and wonders. Miracles are not what people think they are. People think "oh my husband was supposed to be on that bus that wrecked but he lost his ticket and didn't get on, its a miracle." No. Miracles are things that go against the laws of the earth. For instance, if someone were to walk on water that would be a miracle. If someone were to float in the air without any other help that would be a miracle. The word miracle has been diluted so much people don't even know what it means anymore. Dont trust in miracles. They are not from God. People will argue that all day long because A). they don't know what a true miracle is and B). They want to feel like God is showing them special things. The bible tells us about the kind of people who look for signs and wonders.

John 4:48

Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

Matthew 16:4

A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign;



God wants us to trust his word he gave us, the bible. Not any physical signs or miracles. I would stay away from those books about miracles. They are of satan.

Oh wow they have a course on miracles? Strange I just always thought that if you prayed and believed in a miracle then according to how much faith you have in them one would occur. When soverity and destiny meet in worship,miracles occur.I've seen this happen many,many times to alot of people and all they had was their faith and their desires in receiving one. No course needed.
