Why Why Hindu Women Marry Muslim Men While Muslim Women Hardly marry Hindu Men?

I have observed that ,Hindu women don't care abt their religion and go ahead and marry Muslims,while Muslim women hardly marry Hindu men.In India man woman ratio is 1000 males to 904 females.Hindu women are marrying Muslim men with no hesitation and Muslim women obviously will marry only Muslim men.Hindu men are at a loss as women from their religion are marrying men of other religion while Muslims men are secure as they have both Hindu and Muslim women to marry.On top of this Hindu women without any hesitation and shame also convert to their foriegn religion and raise kids in Islam.According to 2001 census Hinduism was 80.5 % in India now it has declined drastically below 75%.These kind of conversions and marriages have played a great role in this.We have read in our history that when foreign Muslim invaders invaded India hindu women used to kill themselves by jumping into fire ,the process known as Jowhar/Sati to escape falling into the hands of Muslim invaders who used to capture them as war booty and used them as sex slaves.Now the same Hindu women are marrying these Muslim men and converting into islam.Are the hindu women not destroying the hindu fabric?Are they not the reason for decline of Hinduism?Bagavad Gita chapter 1 verse 40 says When irreligion is prominent , the women in the family become degraded, and from the degradation of womanhood, , comes unwanted progeny.--....Is this verse not apt for what I wrote?I am not trying to be communal but explaining the truth.I expect ppl to express their views abt the problem not give me lectures abt how "love is blind" or "love has no religion" or how "marriage means no religion but only husband and wife" and etc.thank u.

If you go according to the game played by muslims, you can brand those women as ***** or prostitude who marry muslim men. Later on as thing turn out, those women marrying muslim men are almost reduced to the capacity of ***** or prostitude.



Make your facts correct. It is hindu men who never want to marry muslim women not otherwise.



Indeed many custom and tradition became part of hindu life to protect themselves from muslim invaders.

Nice try. But for every example you can come about Hindu girls marrying Muslim guys, I can come up with an example of a Muslim Girl marrying a Hindu Guy. The population of Muslims in India is not increasing due to conversions at all. It is increasing because, Hindus follow the slogan, 'We 2, Ours 2 (sometimes 1}, while Muslims follow the dictum, 'We 5, ours 25).

Many muslim women marry hindu boys also. One cousin of mine is married to a very nice hindu boy from Banaras and one is married to a christian man in Navy. There are examples in bollywood. I think you are exaggeretting your fear. Many hindu families are very liberal and accepting so they allow marriage with non-hindu boys. Muslim families are also becoming liberal now so more muslim girls will marry non-muslim boys in future-- even though it is not allowed in Islam.

Hello,



1) The men are not supposed to. A Muslim man may marry a "child of the book" namely a Christian or Jew but they are not allowed to marry into other pagan faiths. Obviously these guys are breaking the rules unless as you say, the Hindu girls are converting to Islam.



2) Under no circumstances can a Muslim woman marry a non Muslim man. PERIOD!

This double standard has to do with the fact that the man in Islam is head of the household and would likley force the wife to raise the kids in his faith.



3) Certainly in my books mixed faiths are much tougher on a marriage than mixed cultures or races.

Even in my case as a Roman Catholic I could marry a girl of another faith but we'd have to promise the kids would be raised Catholic. Sometimes in these situations where parents are of different faiths and don't want to fight or make issues about religion the kids grow up with no faith.



4) In my younger single years I had a chance to meet lovely Indian girls but their parents felt the faith differences would cause too many problems so we left it at that.

It's their life. They can do anything. If hindu women wants to marry muslim men then what's the big deal! In the end they are going to face the consequences! And it's not necessary that the marriage is going to be unsuccessful. Hinduism is never going to end. If people allow inter religion marriages then there will be no conversion! If people stop making rules like hindu can not marry muslim and blah blah then then there will be no change. God is one. Allah and Ram, both are one! THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM. Many hindu girls have secret fantasies regarding muslims and they feel submissive because of the taboo nature. Its kind of like many white girls feel submissive with black men and they have fantasies.

The Hindu Woman:



1. The Hindu Woman has no right to divorce her husband.

2. She has no property or inheritance rights.



3. Choice of partner is limited because she can only marry within her own caste; moreover her horoscope must match that of the intending bridegroom/family.



4. The family of the girl has to offer an enormous dowry to the bridegroom/family.



5. If her husband dies she should commit Sati (being cremated with her dead husband). Since today's law forbids Sati, society mainly punishes her in other "holy" ways (see below).



6. She cannot remarry.



7. The widow is considered to be a curse and must not be seen in public. She cannot wear jewelry or colourful clothes. (She should not even take part in her children's marriage!)



8. Child and infant marriage is encouraged.





The Muslim Woman:



1.The Muslim woman has the same right as the Muslim man in all matters including divorce.

2. She enjoys property and inheritance rights. (Which other religion grants women these rights?). She can also conduct her own separate business.



3. She can marry any Muslim of her choice. If her parents choose a partner for her, her consent must be taken.



4. The dowry in Islam is a gift from a husband to his wife (not the other way around as is practiced by some ignorant Muslims).



5. A Muslim widow is encouraged to remarry, and her remarriage is the responsibility of the Muslim society.



6.Mixed marriage is encouraged and is a means to prevent racism creeping in society.



7. A Muslim mother is given the highest form of respect.



What right do the Hindus have to criticize the Muslims? Have you ever heard of a Muslim burning his wife? In parts of India women die daily of dowry deaths - Hindu women being burnt by the husband or in-laws. The Brahmins are trying to claim that Muslims do not give freedom to their women. I ask you again. "Do the Hindus respect their women?"

Yes Hindus do respect women, irrespective of any community or religion. Which is why we call our mother as a goddess. There are exceptions, but that do not justify Hinduism as a woman hater at all.



What about Muslims? Three 'Talaqs' and all finished, even if spoken in drunk or in dreamy sleep or unconsciously. Husband can remarry ex-wife only after letting her get marry to another man, take him full advantage of this opportunity and then again talaq and remarry. Yest it is true, Hindu girls and Women are marrying muslim boys and men at alarming rate, i read newspaper daily and everyone can notice that in Change of Name section in The Statesman/Anadabazar Patrika in West Bengal, every other week a Hindu girl marries a muslim boy and changes her Hindu name to muslim name but i rarely find muslim girls convert to Hindus. in fact, the tendency to marry Muslim boys by Hindu girls/women is rampant.
