Did Adam and Eve also think they were thinking for themselves?

Genesis 3:6

6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

It was unwise to eat the forbidden fruit just as it is unwise to not
brush your teeth, to not exercise, to skip classes at a good school, etc. though these things can be tempting and seem like a good ideas
at times!

Unwise is still unwise no matter what it is!

It is always unwise to trade God for vanity
of heart, soul, and mind if you really think about it!

Yes, knowledge of good and evil is quite useless with the
exclusion of God (it does not have any temporary or
long term use without the Creator) - it's a road to no-where!

Adam and Eve were already gaining knowledge about
their world - how to take care of plants and animals and
many, many things, yet were so greedy (greedy for what was
empty without God)!

What are your thoughts?

If you talk about God negatively, you are just "passing the buck" just like Adam and Eve were doing after being confronted by God and thus
proving mankind is every bit as evil as scriptures say!

We want to avoid it (truth) at all costs yet it is the only thing
that is effective and is what we eternally need! It can hurt in
the deepest way at first (that is why ppl think it is soooo offensive
actually) then it can set free in the most profound ways so your
heart/soul will soar across the sky, so to speak (not talking
about the rapture either).

My grandpa was agnostic and on his death bed conversion his eyes
sparkled so much and said "I should have done this years ago!"

"He [God} poured in the oil and the wine, the [spiritual] kind that restores my [your] soul!"

We must find we are empty and how empty we truly are!
Like a bottomless empty dark well is our soul without our Creator!

None of our poor reactions to God are unique.
We really don't have many unique thoughts, just more
concentrated ones or arranged in a different pattern,
but still with the same meanings - nothing is new under
the sun, but with God all can become truely new and
unique - that is what we want and we can have it
only with God!

This is not brain washing, it is spirit renewing!

Okay everything you just posted isn't worth my time and is bull but I do have something you may actually find interesting on the subject. This story comes from the reality of eating the apple. They grew a mind and became bored with everything. The birth of the mind is the death of the senses, once we can think we catalog everything until we don't even look at things anymore we just see empty words. Quoting a phrase from your precious bible(I think) "To enter the kingdom of heaven you must be a child". I think this means we can have heaven on earth, but we must all lose our minds to find it.

The original sin was to oppose God. It is making yourself god by opposition to the creator. This was Satan's mistake and he led Eve to commit the same. The blood of Jesus was the only remedy for this sin virus that was passed on to the entire human race.
