I find a typo in a Stephen King novel. Does that mean his stories are worthless and his ideas have no merit?

Or should I recognize that it is a typo, and only a typo?

I think you mean you *found a typo.
Other than that, it's entirely up to you! I once found a typo in a book. It was a sad day, because it reminded me of every mistake I've ever made in life, and of every mistake throughout the history of the human race, and how it can never be fixed...all we can do is just stare at it, point at it, and maybe complain and say "someone should fix that" or "am I the only one who noticed this?" and yet still do nothing about it. It's like...well...maybe I should just stop there, huh?
Haha, good day!
Cheers!

Depends on the typo.... does it change the meaning of the sentence? Does it make the statement a lie? Of course you can cut Stephen King a lot of slack: he's a novelist. He's not trying to convince anyone of the reality of his assertions.

A typo? Nah, just let it go. He's only human.

Depends which book it is, honestly. That man has the ability to make genius, and then absolute crap.
