JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD -

OK, so i`m 100% english - christian and I`ve believed for many moons now,
that the Rapture and the Second Coming are one and the same thing, now not
all Christians feel the same about this, but read the Explanation and give me your
Own Views as i do Listen to Both Sides of any Debate weather i believe it or not, is not
the issue ( OK ) ? so Please answer Truthfully ( if possible ? ) and thanks in advance, i really appreciate it.

Part 1: " What is the difference ( if any ) between the Rapture and the
Second Coming ( if you believe there separate ) ? "

The Rapture and the Second Coming of Christ are often confused.
Sometimes it is difficult to determine whether a scripture verse is
referring to the rapture or the second coming. However, in studying
end-times Bible Prophecy, it is very important to differentiate between the two.

The rapture is when Jesus Christ returns to remove the church
( all believers in Christ ) from the earth. The Rapture is described in
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-54. Believers who
have died will have their bodies resurrected and, along with believers
who are still living, will meet the Lord in the air. This will all occur in a
moment, in a twinkling of an eye. The second coming is when Jesus
returns to defeat the Antichrist, destroy evil, and establish His millennial
kingdom. The Second Coming is described in Revelation 19:11-16.

The important differences ( if any ) between the Rapture and Second
Coming ( if you believe there separate ? ) are as follows:

1) At the Rapture, believers meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17).
At the second coming, believers return with the Lord to the earth (Revelation 19:14).

2) The Second Coming occurs after the great and terrible tribulation
(Revelation chapters 6–19). The rapture occurs before the tribulation
(1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10).

3) The Rapture is the removal of believers from the earth as an act of deliverance
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, 5:9). The Second Coming includes the removal of
unbelievers as an act of judgement (Matthew 24:40-41).

4) The Rapture will be secret and instant (1 Corinthians 15:50-54).
The Second Coming will be visible to all (Revelation 1:7; Matthew 24:29-30).

5) The Second Coming of Christ will not occur until after certain other
end-times events take place -
(2 Thessalonians 2:4; Matthew 24:15-30; Revelation chapters 6–18).
The Rapture is imminent; it could take place at any moment
(Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:50-54).

Part 2: '' What if the Rapture and Second coming are one and the same thing '' ?
( as i believe they are )

1) If the Rapture and the second coming are the same event, believers
will have to go through the Tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10).

2) If the Rapture and the Second Coming are the same event, the return of Christ
is not imminent—there are many things which must occur before He can return
( Matthew 24:4-30 ).

3) In describing the tribulation period, Revelation chapters 6–19 nowhere mentions
the church. During the tribulation—also called “the time of trouble for Jacob”
( Jeremiah 30:7 ) - God will again turn His primary attention to Israel
( Romans 11:17-31 ).

The Rapture and Second coming are similar but if you believe there separate events ?
( i don`t ). Both Involve Jesus Returning. Both are end-times events. However, it is
crucially important to recognise the differences
( if you believe there separate ? ).

In summary, the Rapture is the Return of Christ in the clouds to remove all
believers from the earth before the time of God’s wrath. The Second Coming
is the Return of Christ to the earth to bring the tribulation to an end and to
defeat the Antichrist and his Evil World Empire.
( not that All Christians don`t know this ? ).

To me you've summarized it very well.

There's an entire Christian book series called "Left Behind" that goes through this very scenario from the point of view of secular Christians who did not take their walk with God seriously and were "left behind" and had to endure the tribulation period and the reign of the antichrist.

What is interesting to me know as a believer is that in my own country of the U.S. in government we are seeing many who exhibit what is an antichrist person is that those who are nonbelievers or even secular christians can't see them as such. In fact they are vocal in their criticism of conservative christians who stand up for the standards of a holy God. These are not man's standards but God's own standards. And this is precisely how the real antichrist will fool the world and of all things cause more people not to believe in the true God.

We are living in unreal times. I'm glad to see many real Christians in prayer. This is heartening to me. There may not be a visible because the media is really biased but I can feel the prayers of many in America and certainly all over the world fighting this evil in the world.

The world itself is gearing up to the most explosive, dynamic, spiritual war that's ever been waged on earth.

For biblical examples of you've cited in your question I think of Noah and his family like just like Christians are family from the judgment of God's wrath. A more expedient one is that of Israel when they were slaves in Egypt. The judgments that were pronounced against Pharaoh and his nation did not touch the land of the Israelites who were safe showing the source for God's justice and mercy and judgment and punishment through Moses with signs and wonders. Pharaoh representing the antichrist.

Take care and God bless.

Scripture teaches :

This world is under judgement for sin.

God delays judgement to give opportunity for salvation.

God is saving out of this world a people for Himself.

At some point God will bring an end to sin and therefore this world by the coming of Christ Who will bring His reward to both the righteous and the wicked.

This world and Earth will be destroyed and God will create a new Heaven and Earth in which righteousness reigns.

Many Scriptures throughout the Old Testament bear witness to this and look forward to the Day of the Lord.

You obviously have not given this proper attention or thought because to continue this world with just the wicked would make God a minister of sin, which is rank blasphemy.

You also fail to read Scripture with any care since antichrist is expressly declared a spirit not a person and there are and have been many antichrists from the time of the Apostles. The spirit of antichrist opposes the spiritual rule of Christ in the heart. The Kingdom of God is presently a spiritual Kingdom. Spirit opposes spirit and flesh opposes flesh. That should be obvious.

Rapture is a descriptive word and has been coined by man to mean something special according to their particular leanings but it has no place in Scripture. Your excessive use of this word means you have therefore departed from Scripture and are simply confusing yourself with man's ideas.

The important point to make is that it is God Who gives understanding and not man. Therefore forsake men's teachings and your own carnal understandings and seek God for yourself through His word.

Scripture opens and explains Scripture so you certainly do not need men who will only muddy the water. But you need the Spirit of God Who will show the Scriptures that will open and quicken them to your understanding. Of course this no doubt will take time and application and will make demands upon us individually and is therefore not popular.

We are to read the Scriptures to hear what they say and what God will show us through them and never to look for confirmation of any doctrine. Anybody can find anything in Scripture to justify their own views which is a false use of Scripture. The whole point of the Scriptures is for us to come to know God and grow in the knowledge of God for ourselves. The gaining of knowledge from men's teaching can only be of the mind or intellectual and obstructs and hinders the knowledge of God.

We are to live righteously by the Spirit of God here and now. Without that what is the use of knowing about the events at the final end of this world which we might never see anyway?

The rapture of the church precedes the Second Coming of Christ. In the first, we are taken up "to meet the Lord in the air". In the second, Jesus actually descends to the earth and plants his foot on the Mount of Olives. The two are completely different.

By the way, when Jesus returns at the Second Coming, the bible teaches he comes with "ten thousands of his saints". That is us, the church. We could not "come with him" if we had not been taken up to be with him previously in the rapture.

they are different events

the rapture is for the believers in christ only

their physical bodies are made immortal

god brings the souls of those who have died with him when he comes to resurrect his church

change their bodies into immortal bodies

the church that is living on earth their bodies will be changed in a instant and they fly up to meet jesus in the air

jesus is coming down with all the souls of every true follower of jesus that has existed since salvation in jesus started

then every believer in christ from the start to the present when the rapture happens all go up to meet jesus in the air.

where as at the second coming christ and all his followers and angels come down to earth already rewarded with awards and all riding white horses

every eye will see jesus and all his host returning with him

jude tells us

Jude 1:14

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

The term Rapture with a Capital R is a Protestant invented term that was originally used to describe a similar interpretation of the older Second Coming of Christ term.

1st: Christians claim: "Jesus died for their sins"

But there is a problem, "IF" you read the bible, it says:

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Hebrews 9:27

As the cloud is consumed and vanishes away, so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more. Job 7:9

ONCE YOU DIE & BURIED YOU CANNOT RETURN. (bible)

HOW DO YOU THINK HE WILL RETURN, WHEN YOUR BIBLE SAYS, NO RETURN.......!

CONTRADICTION!
