The lake of fire aka hell mentioned in the bible is actually a place that existed during the time the bible was written..and it still exist today.. It was actually where children were put into a lake of fire by witchcraft ppl to worship their gods... People were just describing what they saw and not where youll go when you died. am I wrong about this? No one will go to he'll, right?

Try getting your answers form the bible instead of the internet.

Hell is a man made concept not taught in the bible. It is a pagan idea.

The reference to the lake of fire was a reference to the valley of Hinnim or Gehenna which was the city dump outside of Jerusalem. Jesus often used references that the people he was speaking to could understand. It was not used for child sacrifice. It is not there today.

It was kept burning day and night and the bodies of criminals were thrown into it because they were not considered worthy of a decent burial. Jesus would have been thrown there had it not been for Joseph of Aramathea giving his own tomb for Jesus to be put in.

The bible does refer to sinners being thrown into the lake of fire. So if you throw something into a lake of fire, what happens to it? Right.

There is no such place as hell., The end of this system is coming shortly and if you are a true Christian you will survive Armageddon or having died will be resurrected. If you are not a Christian you will not survive.

If you want to survive and live forever in the new world, please contact Jehovah's witnesses and learn the truth. It is the only thing that can save you. And don't watch any more documentaries made by people who do not know the truth. Best wishes.

I'm afraid Christians who say there is no hell are absolutely and thoroughly deceived. Nobody wants to think about hell but it is actually where everybody is in this world is going from birth.

That's why we must be born all over again, the second time of God through repentance, water baptism and Holy Spirit.

Jesus said unless we are born again of water (baptism) and Holy Spirit, we cannot enter God's kingdom.

That's why it is important to be saved whilst still living on this earth. Once we die it is too late.

The Lake of Fire is a very real place. It is mentioned in many scriptures, some being Revelation 20:14,15, Revelation 21: 8, 1 Corinthians 6: 9 & 10) and the last scripture follows with, "And such were some of you, but you were washed (that's in a water baptism of repentance with the Holy Spirit) you were sanctified, you were justified in the Name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6:11). The saved are washed, sanctified and justified in water baptism of repentance by full immersion as adults (babies cannot repent in Christening) in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I am telling you to read the bible for yourself...and search to see what it teaches. The bible does speak of eternal punishment for those who are not saved by faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible warns about many false teachers departing from the truth. Rev 20 11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Jesus did not need to pay for our sins if hell was temporary. The opportunity to confess Jesus as Lord and Savior is confined to this lifetime. Being born again is the test that this life offers to see who desires to follow God and he forgives, cleanses, adopt and shares His own inheritance with the saints he redeemed. These people would be mistaken Jesus spoke of Gehenna, hell often as a literal place. “Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Hell is real.

Matthew 13:50 - “furnace of fire…weeping and gnashing of teeth”

Mark 9:48 - “where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched”

Revelation - 14:10 “he will be tormented with fire and brimstone”

(4) Hell is eternal and irreversible.

Revelation 14:11 - “the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever and they have no rest day and night”

Revelation 20:14 - “This is the second death, the lake of fire”

Revelation 20:15 - “If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire”

Hell (aka Spirit Prison) is VERY REAL! Just because some people don't understand that true doctrine doesn't change a thing...These scriptures talk about it's reality...

Luke 16:22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

I will also add my personal testimony that I KNOW that hell is real. Avoid it with everything you've got!!

Religion is born of fear and heaven and hell are created for that purpose to fear monger people so that they will donate generously, out of fear. Just wait and see what will happen to all fo these religious institutions and its leaders , once people have stopped donating? They will go bankrupt for sure and that's why we are turning churches into condominiums in Toronto and in Montreal because of low attendance. Amen!

No one will go to an inexistant place, so don't worry. And not all Christians believe in hell, most I know don't.
