This is a kind of sophism which means to be as humble as you can. It is an expression of slef denial or say arrogance free character.
This is not in Christianity only, you can find it in many religions and in many sects.

Not a Christian, but can I play? What the clever quote fails to take into account is the aspect of free will. It's in choosing not to judge that one is good. If one lacks the ability to do so, then they are not good.
