For goodness sake whenever I see anything about a woman pastor I see a flood of Christians going against it. What is so wrong about having a woman as a pastor, God can use anyone regardless of their race or gender. I understand that God says that a woman cannot lead over men, but you have to take the Bible into context. You can't take every passage literally, you have to understand the historical background behind it, and you have to know wether to take the passage literally or as a lesson. Please I'm starting to doubt Christians here, we preach about acceptance and love. But we shun women when they gain some sort of leadership? How can you not see the hypocrisy in this?

I think people take the Bible a little too literally. Just because it isn't in the bible doesn't mean it didn't exist. They didn't talk about a LOT of things in the bible, like what everyone ate for dinner, their favorite songs, the best swimming holes, whatever. But we can certainly assume that these things were around. I think it's very very possible that there were women preachers. But women have always been oppressed by men, so it's also possible that even though there were many women who were qualified to be preachers, they never got the chance. Besides, the uptight medival Roman Catholic church probably took out any mention of women in any postion of power or importance since the incompetent masses could not even read it. They wanted their women in their place, and a woman in power would not fit that scheme at all.

God is a God of order, that's the truth. And look at your attitude ,is that a fruit of your spirit?

Romans 8:14

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Okay what verse can you give that God can use any gender?

Or have you read any woman in the history of the Bible who was given that ministry?

Who found the empty tomb first and told the disciples of it? Mary Madelene and some other women! Women are important after all in the Christian faith. Here is the first account of somebody telling others about Jesus' resurrection. Women were the first to preach! This is sufficient proof that women are allowed to be pastors.

Daniel k.....

It would be good if you could submit to the Word of God. Here is a woman apostle for example, called to be apostle ... http://www.cofchrist.org/wc2007/minutes/c-12fields.asp

How far do you want to depart from the Word of God?

There is indeed no woman called to be pastor in the whole of New Testament but the spirit of whoredom is very prevalent....

ZAP is right .............. it is a whorehouse...... spirit of whoredom .... spirit of lust for power

It is even more frightful that you cannot discern the spirits, not so much carnal lust ..... but lust in spiritual things, lust for power, lust for prominence, even in the things of God!!

Women are important in the Churches of the saints ............. but they are never ever pastors. America would recover much, if they get rid of such spirits of whoredom in their churches

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

You seemed to imply that He is not the same in the 21st century, and as ZAP had said, the book of Revelation is prophetic ......... thus it is your duty to prove that indeed the Lord Jesus Who knew the end from the beginning, where is the women calling to be pastors .... did He make a mistake in forgetting women as pastors in His Church, as 'neglected' in the book of Revelation??

or is that it is your own revelation that women should be pastors in churches??

I've never understood this because women were important in the early church. St Paul mentioned many women in his letters and said some of them were important workers in the faith, etc.

because of fact it became a woman's curse to be below the guideline of guy. So she misplaced her voice till now God in the church. If she became clever they'd pray collectively till now God and get their voice back. they are think to be silent in church additionally. Gen 3:sixteen. So if guy regulations over female, and God regulations over guy. guy communicate in the church. they are think to be besides. individually i do no longer understand if God cares approximately something he continually alterations and stumbles around like a fool fixing himself and changing his procedures....OH wait a minute this is the Christians no longer following the bible announcing that became back in the day. I on no account heard a prophet say God replaced his concepts or mounted himself, it particularly is barely the international and the Christians. who says I positioned female down? The bible or me? and ya i may well be a arrs on certian subjects, you have the international in the back of you and there are none of me left with my faith. I even have yet to discover a church the place they persist with the bible or a minimum of teach it and no person cares to stay with.

Women should know better than to believe in god.

Repent and believe in the Word of God

1Co 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

1Co 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

1Co 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

1Co 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

Why did the Apostle Paul .... added ....as also saith the law.

It reads perfectly well......

1Co 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience,

Here we see the blessed Apostle invoked the codified moral laws, the Ten Commandments .... which is still applicable even today.... thus implying that if the moral law is invoked and still applies today .... so too 1 Cor 14:34 is applicable. In the Inspiration by the Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul did wrote what he was inspired to do. Because the Spirit of god knew the rebellion of women in the last days ..... so those who are sharp, know what it meant for the moral law to be invoked, PARTICULARLY IN THIS VERSE. (PS Why did the Holy Spirit invoked the moral law, when it comes to women keeping silence in Churches??)

Ask the women pastors to keep silence in the Churches of the saints, don head coverings (1 Cor 11) and go home and ask their husbands to teach them AT HOME!

The book of Revelation is NOT historical. It is prophetic. Please get your facts right.

The Regulative priciple would have you to do all that the LORD commanded. Show me from the prophetic book of Revelation that women are allowed to be pastors in the last days. There was someone who said that women ministers and women pastors are different; one is allowed while the other is not. Show me again, her argument.

WOMEN KEEP SILENCE IN CHURCHES, don head coverings (1 Cor 11). Keep at it, and peradventure salvation may come to you when you have known His ways (Heb 3-4:2; Psalm 95)

THE HOUSE OF GOD IS NOT A HOUSE OF CONFUSION AND A WHOREHOUSE; IT IS A HOUSE WHERE THE WORD OF GOD IS FOLLOWED.

The spirits of whoredom was also in the OT, when Israel and Judah departed from worshipping the True and Living God (read the whole of the book of Jeremiah). It is spiritual, not carnal (but to the carnal mind, it is carnal!!!) ....... offer strange fires and you get burnt like Nadab and Abihu. Although the fire is no more direct, worse .... it is spiritual fire .... when the soul is parched, athirst and not quenched ......... which I discern is your case ....

REPENT YE.

Addition:

Smile............ how do you know to feel bad for my wife ...

and not my husband??

Addition:

If you have a mordicum of fear of God in you .....

Psa 144:2 My Goodness, and my Fortress; my High Tower, and my Deliverer; my Shield, and He in whom I trust; Who subdueth my people under me.

Many are wont to take the LORD's name in vain ..... Deu 5:11 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.

Do be very careful what you spew out!!!!!!!!!!!

In Christ, men and women are equal (Galatians 3:28). Both female and male believers in Christ are kings and priests unto God (Revelation 1:6) and God calls Christian women and men to ALL offices of ministry within the Church. Under the Old Covenant however, God chose only men to act as priests but this doesn’t mean men are closer to God or better than women. The role of priest was given to men just as the role of mother was given to women.

In 1 Timothy 2:12, the author said that he (not God) forbade women to teach men. In the Bible we see that God called many women to be leaders and teachers of men, women and children: prophets (Miriam, Deborah, Huldah, Isaiah’s wife, Philipp’s four daughters), military leader and judge (Deborah), disciples (Mary, Martha, Joanna, Mary Magdalene, Susanna, and “many more”), deacon (Priscilla), and church leader (Lydia).

In the Church, God calls many Christian women to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors (or “shepherds”) and teachers of men, women and children.

Adam was created before Eve but he was not superior to Eve in any way. Eve was deceived (1 Timothy 2:14), they both sinned and Romans 5:12 says that it was through Adam that sin entered the world.

The husband is given by God the role and responsibility of being the head of the home (1 Corinthians 11:3). What this means is that he represents his descendants (see Hebrews 7:8-10) and is required to provide (necessities and protection) for his family (1 Timothy 5:8). Husbands are not to be dictators or have the upper hand over their wives and wives are not to be subservient to their husbands. The husband isn’t responsible for teaching the wife anything but both parents are required to love, teach and bring up their children in the discipline of the Lord (Proverbs 22:6, 29:15-17; Titus 2:4; Ephesians 6:4).

Ephesians 5:22 instructs wives to submit to their husbands, however, the verse before says that ALL Christians (both male and female) should equally submit themselves to one another:

Ephesians 5:21

Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Both husband and wife must respectfully submit to each other. Neither is to be subservient to the other.

Husbands are to love their wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it (Ephesians 5:25).

If the husband isn’t loving and righteous, the wife should not submit to him because as Christians, we are to obey God and not men.

On 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, it is understood that men should also stay silent while the preacher whether female or male is preaching, and if they missed or didn’t understand something, they should wait until later to ask their wives or a fellow brother or sister in Christ or do their own study. The main lesson is to not interrupt the service.

--------------------------------------------------------------

The truth about Jesus Christ can be found only in the Holy Bible. Three days after the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, He resurrected from the dead (Luke 24:1-8; Acts 10:40; 1 Corinthians 15:4) and 40 days later, He ascended into Heaven (Acts 1:3; Luke 24:50-53; Acts 1:9-11).

Without God, the spiritual part of the human being is dead (Ephesians 2:5, Colossians 2:13). The sin of our first parents (Adam and Eve) caused the separation between God and man. Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Sin causes us to be separated from God which results in spiritual death. Christ, the 2nd Person of the Triune Godhead was made flesh (through the immaculate conception) and paid the price for our sins by dying on the cross so we could through faith in Christ as our Saviour be instantly redeemed and united to God and have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who teaches us, comforts us and grants us fruits to live in righteousness and gifts to help and edify the Church. There is no redemption or unity to God apart from receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as one’s Saviour and Lord.

REDEMPTION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH

Because mankind is incapable of meeting God’s standard of perfection necessary to abide in God’s presence (Romans 3:19-20,23), God sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the total debt for the believer’s sins and mercifully credits to his account Christ’s righteousness (Romans 3:21-28,5:1-11; 2 Corinthians 5:18-21). Jesus’ gracious act of atonement was complete and covers all sin (Colossians 2:13-14; 1 John 1:9). Salvation is not based on good deeds but according to the mercy of God (Titus 3:4-5). Believers are justified by faith; it is a gift by God’s grace (Romans 4:3-8; Ephesians 2:8-9). A true, living faith will result in a desire to live a holy, loving life of good works (Ephesians 2:10; Galatians 5:6; James 2:14-26), but failure to be absolutely successful at righteous living does not negate the believer’s justified status.

If you sincerely say this prayer, your sins will be washed away, you will be redeemed to God, be saved from eternal torment and inherit the Kingdom of God:

"Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. I repent of my sins. Please forgive me and save me by your shed blood. Come into my heart. I want to receive you as my own personal Lord and Savior. Amen"
