Yes, it does make me feel better...Its good to know there is Someone who knows you in and out, and still loves you, is in control of your life and wants the best for you...Even when im down and life is hard, (even sometimes when I'm upset with Jesus) I'm glad He is there...He gives a purpose and meaning to my life .

Define "believe in."

It is beyond question that Jesus existed, had a ministry of miracles, was crucified by the Romans, and was believed to have been seen again risen from the dead by his followers. Historians are powerless to explain the development of history without Jesus, and they do not doubt that he existed. Even the skeptical scholars like Gerd Ludemann, Elaine Pagels, and James Tabor (three of my favorites, and two of whom you'll see on TV quite often) accept that Jesus lived, even though they think there was nothing supernatural about him.

Knowing the facts of history doesn't make me feel any better or worse. They are simply facts.

Believing that Jesus is the Son of God, the promised Messiah of Judaism that reconciles man to God? Yes, that makes me feel better. It gives me hope. It guides my life. It give purpose and meaning to what would otherwise be a meaningless, purposeless, futile existence.

If you researched yourself you would find that Jesus is an absolute certainty.

God Almighty resurrected the immortals testing their faith before hand, we are salvaged by Jesus Christ.

Jesus called the Law makers, Sadducee's/Aristocrats, Pharisees/politicians and Scribes/False priests all hypocrites.

Look how the Money exchangers, Law makers, Sadducee's/Aristocrats, Pharisees/politicians, Scribes/False priests have succumb to dominions/own self serving image or false god - only to create/concatenate generational cultural perpetuation of self destructive behavior (Spiritual sleep) They were kicked out of the churches only to form secrete organizations. (Duped be evil)

(Today these secrete organizations are numerous, pervasive powers)

<< Matthew 23:13 >>

"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.

Galations Chapter 3.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

The Torah revealed to Moses around 3500 years ago teaches about The Ten Sefirot: Keter (Crown) which are described as Angels! (G_D's Kingdom)

Hinduism branched from the 4 Veda's written in Sanskrit around 3500 years ago teaches about Maya and Samsara, REALITY! (The outer Kingdom, empirical knowledge, The Angel of death)

According to Plotinus (204/5–270 CE), Evil is a mode of Non-Being. Absolute Evil is a mode of absolute Non-Being. Non-Being is opposed by Real-Being.

Galations Chapter 4.

29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

In Hinduism:

The Gunas are the three substances, Sattva/purity , Rajas/motion or energy, and Tamas/darkness, whose gross state is the sensible universe.

Past and future arise from the different modes of manifestation of these Gunas.

The decline of the Roman Empire led to the Spanish Inquisition > People deluded by heretics accusing people of being heretics, which lead to the worst torture of human beings imaginable.

In 1209, Louis VIII of France through Pope Innocent III in Bezier raised Catholic forces and massacred 20,000 Gnostic’s who made every effort to follow the teachings of Jesus.

They believed that there were two "gods" — one malevolent in charge of all visible and material things held responsible for all the atrocities in the Old Testament, and a benevolent god responsible for the message of Jesus.

I believe in Jesus because he actually lived and died on the cross so that my sins would be forgiven and so I wouldn't go to Hell.

Of course believing in Him makes me feel better. Does it not make you feel better to believe that your chair won't collapse after you've sat in it countless times before?

Christ was God in a flesh body, showing us the path to becoming eternal. His path is narrow (narrow minded and not politically correct - it offends the world). The wide gates of hell is Satan's path. Christ is our Shepherd and He leads, guides, protects, and blesses His sheep. We shall inherit the world.

In fact it does, being one with Christ has made me a new being, one of love and it feels great.
