If someone were able to point out divine right out of blind prophecy, could that include them in the right of divinity?

Prophecy is the ability to foretell the future. Often, especially in ancient times and among pre-technological cultures, the prophecy is thought to be given to the prophet from God, an angel, a spirit or some other divine being.

Divine right is the concept that a king or queen IS a divine being. The ruler's decisions are right because they come from the ruler, who is divine.

It sounds like you're asking if it can go the other way, if the ability to say what's right because you got it from a prophecy would make you a ruler by divine right.

I would say no, because that ability, even if you got the prophecies and decisions straight from God, doesn't make you yourself a divine being. It doesn't then confer on you the right to go about making the rules. An example would be Moses, who got instructions right from God but was never a divine being himself and didn't rule by divine right.

Now, if you're a very charismatic and astute person, you can say whatever you want to say, and if you get people to follow you, they'll allow you to rule and you can call it divine right and they won't argue.

Hmmm??

Prophecy is an enlightened educated guess as to what events are probable in the future.

As our consciousness evolves, we're capable of sidestepping the claims of doom.

Hey, I tried, but the question is confusing to me.
