Benny Hill and others like him?

How many Christians can tolerate that sick bastard of a man and others like him. People in poverty give him money because he says he can help them and in turn he goes and buys mansions, cars and is living the millionaire life

Benny Hill was a funny guy, and, from the interviews with the people he worked with, a really nice person.

Don't you like comedy?

What about all the millionaire actors and singers and the like telling us we need to feed the poor and cut back on our carbon footprint, but fly off in their private jets to one of their several mansions that use ten to twenty times more energy than the average person, and do nothing but pay lip service to the problems of world.they lay the blame on some one else and make other people dip into their own pockets instead of dipping into their own multi-million dollar networth.Hypocrititical behavior is in all walks of life,And as far as calling Benny Hinn a sick bastard of a man I think you can make your point without resorting to such behavior.

I don't think you mean Benny Hill, who was perhaps the last great burlesque comedian of his time, certainly from Britain. His humor, while crude, was very funny and truly knew no limits.

I suspect you, from your description, are referring to Benny Hinn -- Toufik Benedictus "Benny" Hinn (born December 3, 1952) a televangelist, best known for his regular "Miracle Crusades" – revival meeting/faith healing summits that are usually held in large stadiums in major cities, which are later broadcast worldwide on his television program, This Is Your Day.

To me, he is no different than other money-begging televangelists and mega-church running people who make millions for their own purposes. Unfortunately, the United States cannot put limits on the amount of money these people make, but they should tax their income as income and not in any non-profit sense, let them off the hook.

I think you are referring to Benny Hinn. In the book of Acts, the apostles condemned those who wanted to exercise the power of the gospel for profit. Benny Hinn has learned to take advantage of the sense of need people feel. I agree with you that he is abusing his position and power. God never, never intended His Word, and the person of Christ, to be exploited like that.
