Question:
Why does Obama say that it's wrong to force your beliefs on others then turn around and do it?

"It's wrong to force your beliefs on other people."

"Oh you're pro-life? That's too bad, you'll have to pay for other women to have abortions anyway"

"Oh you're a Catholic organization? That's too bad, start covering birth-control for your employees or else..."

"Oh you're an Atheist? Oh sure we'll remove anything at all that reminds you not everyone shares your godless worldview...let's cancel national day of prayer and remove all bibles from armed-forces housing for a start."

Hypocrisy at its most gag-worthy...

he is a liar, narcissist and hypocrite who believe George Orwell's "1984" was intended to be an instruction manual and has a base that includes a lot of anti-religious bigots.

Some comments on the answers

Kyle- What is your point? Are you trying to justify birth control by bringing up the war and bailouts? I'm opposed to all of them. I would disagree with your notion that racists should not have free speech or there should not be public defenders. If the rights of the worst person a live are protected all of our rights are protected.

That guy- are you trying to claim Obama has never tired to pretend to support tolerance and nothing but hate has been spewing from his mouth?

E- Obama does not follow Islam. that would require him to admit he's not God.

Dracones- the more rules you force employers to follow the fewer jobs you have. There is a big difference between a rule like

"Your building must have a sprinkler"," don't dump toxic waste in the water" and forcing people to pay for things that violate their faith.

You really need to stop watching Fox News and pay attention.

- There are already laws that say federal tax dollars cannot be used toward abortions. All of the efforts by Republicans to strengthen those laws is for show, none of it would make a difference.

- The rules in question have to do with birth control and not abortion. Birth control is a commonly used by 90% of fecund women in the USA. Also, some women take birth control for reasons other than not getting pregnant.

- There are already waivers for organizations that oppose birth control. The plaintiffs in this case were basically saying they shouldn't be forced to fill out paperwork applying for the waiver. While the waiver was overturned, they still have to submit a waiver, just to a different branch of the Government.

To your final point... The USA is a secular government. The Constitution states that EVERYONE has certain rights. For example, I have Freedom of Speech. In many countries that are not secular, there are blasphemy laws (such as Ireland and Saudi Arabia) where someone can go to jail for making statements the state religion disagrees with. It is because we have secular rights that churches cannot impose their own point of view.

'"Oh you're pro-life? That's too bad, you'll have to pay for other women to have abortions anyway"

- Is this FORCING women to have abortions? No. If you live in a democracy you pay for whatever the MAJORITY agree to. If you have a problem with that move to North Korea.

"Oh you're a Catholic organization? That's too bad, start covering birth-control for your employees or else..."

See above. (Note: Banning contraception IS forcing your beliefs onto people who don't want them. Is that OK in a democracy?)

"Oh you're an Atheist? Oh sure we'll remove anything at all that reminds you not everyone shares your godless worldview...let's cancel national day of prayer and remove all bibles from armed-forces housing for a start."

If atheism is 'a belief' then health is a disease!

So much for your idea of fairness! You really would be at home in North Korea!

That is his modus operandi.

He says:

The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion for the first 42 presidents – #43 added $4 trillion by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic.

Then he does much worse.

He repeats this same trick time after time after time.

I think we all need to stop blaming Obama.

First of all, you are an idiot.

Pro-life: It's okay to be pro-life, but you have to remember, what about those poor raped woman? My cousin was raped and she chose to get an abortion because she was 16 at the time and did not want to raise a child. Seriously, with a child, her career would have been ruined. But now she's in pre-med, wanting to save lives as a doctor!

Birth-control: Why is this even a bad thing? You don't have to use birth control if you don't want to.

Atheist thing: *face palm* America is based on religion! "In God we trust" I agree some atheists are nit-picky, but goddamn, do your research before you complain!!

Strange....I have not recieved a bill for anyones abortion ???

If you are talking about your tax dollars and SSI...to an extent I can agree.

I'm sick of paying taxes that go to fund women living on welfare, and spitting out children as if their only reason for living was to spread their thighs.

I'm sick of paying taxes in a society that treats anyone who is not Christian or Muslim as a second rate human being.

I'm sick of watching people move to the country and immidiately get onto financial aid....that is supposed to go to the people who have paid into it for years.

I'm sick of hearing Christian politicians act like those same people who have paid into the system for years...are the leaches bringing these sick worthless slobs down.

And I'm sick of paying taxes in a country that is in effect living under a Christian version of Sharia law.

Unfortunatly....like you....I don't always agree with the direction the culture is going...but still have to work with what I'm dealt and deal with it in as positive a manner as possible.

A business isn't a right. If the Catholic Church doesn't want to pay for birth control, they can sell off their businesses. The Church itself is exempt.

By your argument:

If I'm a Christian Scientist, then I should be able to refuse health care to any of my employees, and even fire them if they pursue it.

consistency has not been obama's strong point.

as a leftist demagogue/ideologue, he cannot see or admit the rights of dissent of the others

Abortions aren't free withe the ACA. People pay.

Anyone can buy independent health care that suits them.

Yes, you CAN have choices - and it's non of your Catholic business' boss.

He's removed controlling intermediaries, as he should

Personal health care is just that...personal.

Nobody is forcing their beliefs on you. You want to be an employer? You follow the same rules that every other employer has to follow. Otherwise, what's to stop someone who owns a business from denying health insurance to their black employees because the owner is a racist?

Nobody is removing everything that's religious from every facet of American life. Religious imagry is still EVERYWHERE. You can't put up religious displays on public property with tax money. That's unconstitutional. Cry me a river.

The National Day of Prayer wasn't cancelled:

Obama had NOTHING to do with the Walter Reed bible ban, which was reversed:

Yeah, hypocrisy is gag worthy... YOUR hypocrisy. Your persecution complex is adorable. Unfortunately, you can't justify it without lying through your teeth.

I don't like paying to kill Muslims but I', forced to.

I don't like bailing out banks but I'm forced to.

I don't like paying for racists to have free speech.

I don't like having to pay for public defenders for obvious criminals.
