Question:
Am I a Christian?

First off, I believe in evolution.

Secondly, I believe Jesus existed but I doubt he performed miracles. Maybe he was just a popular guy and his feats became exaggerated over time.

I do believe (Or try to believe) that there is a God, but not that he created Adam and Eve but he created the first 'particles' that led to the creation of the universe.

Sounds like you are someone who was raised in/around the Christian faith and has some knowledge of it, but has never actually made a decision that the believe in it and have asked God/Christ to be the Lord of their life.

The majority of Christians do believe in evolution. They see it as the process that God used to create the species. Nothing in that prevents God from being the original Creator of life or the Intelligence behind evolution. Darwin himself was a Christian who actually studied for the ministry and remained an active member of his local church after he developed the theory of evolution (actually "survival of the fittest as evolution was being debated back in the 8th century BC) The person who developed the Big Bang theory was a Catholic Priest as well as a physicist. None of them saw a contraction between their theories and the Christian faith.

As far as the miracles of Jesus, the first three gospels were authored and in common usage with 20 years of the life of Jesus. They are quoted in other books as early as 50 AD (with the crucifixion having been in 30 AD.) The apostle Paul includes over 20 phrases and two longer quotes from the gospels in his first letter to the Corinthians written in the fall of 55 AD. So there was simply NOT time for "legends" to have grown up around Jesus. The gospels were written too soon for that.

Plus the Pharisees who were the opponents of Jesus in their writings state that he was a miracle worker and a healer (though he did them by "black magic") and that after his execution by the Romans his body has disappeared from his tomb with his disciples claiming he had raised from the dead. Why would his opponents have said that if he was not true?

You may be able to make an argument that what they wrote into the gospels was an outright lie and the authors knew it. But historically, it is not possible to argue that these were myths and legends that grew up over time. There was no time for them to grow. The original eye witnesses (both friends and foes) state that these thins happened.

No you're not a Christian in order to be a Christian you have to be christ-like and Jesus Christ not only believed in the word he helped to write it so if you're christ-like you believe the word

Beliefs are the foundations of who we are and why we do whatever it is that we do. So what are your beliefs that drive you?

You are not a Christian ... because you have more common sense than all "christians" combined.

To be a Christian you must accept Jesus as the Christ, the anointed one.

Catholics accept evolution & the Big Bang as the method of Creation.

Adam & Eve are mythological, the names mean the Man & the Woman.

The particles we are made of are stardust from exploding galaxies.

The fact of the matter: NO, You are not a true Christian, because if you were a true Christian than you would never believe in evolution, because that is a lie from Satan and Satan is the father of lies. you are like Lot's wife who looks like a true believer of God, but her heart is still in Sodom, just like your heart is still in Sodom, because you do not truly believe God Holy Word the Bible only, you are blinded from the scriptures and only if God, read Amos 8:11 read 2 Corinthians 3:14 read 2 Corinthians 4:4 read 1 John 2:11 read Ephesians 4:18 read Isaiah 57:15 read Jeremiah 36:1-19 read Jeremiah 36:32 read Romans 1:17-32 read Romans 10:17 read Ephesians 2:8 read Galatians 5:17-23 read James 3:6-8 read Hebrews 4:12 read 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4

More likely an Atheist! If you even Believed in just GOD, you might fit for Jewish!

Since every single line of History in the Bible, Old and New, now have anywhere from three to over 250 Records, Proofs, found confirming each line, What is so hard? Even communist China had admitted to finding records of Adam & Eve, also of Noah's Ark! Lots of places in the Bible are also still here these days! Even the whole Noah's Ark; flat in the front and back, and same measurements as the Bible states is on a giant mountain in Turkey; where it stays buried in snow most of the years. Quite recently it split in half, so lots more of it can be seen. Multiple football fields can fit in it!

To Be a Christian one has to Believe in GOD and that GOD made ALL everywhere, everything!

People that DO Believe in GOD also are able to have LOVE in their lives! Giving Life full meanings!

Atheists canNot feel anymore than each of their own LUSTs for only each of their own wants! Not caring for anyone, but them self.

How about the Federal Law passed that requires that ALL of Atheism is now required to be Removed from all Public Schools! Plus ALL of this confirmed History in the Bible is now Required to be taught in ALL Public Schools!? This law was passed because The Order to test every single item that the Atheists had claimed as their Proofs were done being tested and it is Science that Discovered ALL they Atheists had used are fakes?! Most that the Atheists had used were New BONES! What fossils they used dated to be no more then 6,000 years! Same as the Bible teaches us!

Has any Atheist ever been able to explain how any of their beliefs could have changed/developed into the next belief? Not one so far!

Bring GOD closer to you and get all the confirmed history of the Bible and Believe that GOD sent Jesus as the Christ!

There are miracles happening even these days!

CHRISTIAN: A follower or believer in Jesus Christ.

It is as simple as that. Many BAD Christians insist on more but that is why Christianity has been split so much!

I would have thought that being a Christian requires that you believe that Christ was a unique instance of God coming into personal contact with his creation.

Hence, short answer to your question, no.

(I'm an atheist, if that has anything do with it.)

No, you are most certainly not a christian. You are agnostic, because you believe something, but not concrete.

Curious to why you believe in evolution?
