Since god cared about us so much, he sent his only son to teach us what to do in life and how to get into heaven.

Why would god only send 1 person? Doesn't he care about the other people who won't hear the word of god for many many years? Or the people who ever hear the word of god?

Is god counting on you to spread the word? Surely god didn't want just 1 group of people to hear about his word, what about all the other people, who to this day still haven't heard about him?

Shouldn't he have sent more then 1 person? I mean come on he's god, he should be able to do as he wants. OR maybe he wanted you Christians to do it for him? Maybe you are failing god by not helping him spread the word?

Wow. Let's assume your God wanted his message spread around the world, and sent multiple sons to do his work. I'm just imagining the holy wars that would happen between the followers of the different Jesuses. The Indian Jesus followers would be opposed to the Caucasian Jesus followers, the Middle-Eastern Jesus followers wouldn't like the Chinese, and so on...

There's enough strife between the sects of Christianity now. Imagine if you threw a dozen Jesuses in the mix.

God didn't just have 1 son or daughter, we are all the daughters and sons of the Creator and have a duty, through our individual and collective actions, to "spread the word" about the only message the Creator feels matters, Love.

We are all called to spread the word of God, if by "word of God" you mean "love one another." Jesus never caused a single war; men using His name for their own political gain caused so called religious wars. That is clear from even a cursory glance at history.

If you have love in you, then you have God in you. It doesn't matter if you never heard the word "God" or "Jesus". When Jesus said "I am the way" He meant that love was the way, since He is God and God is love. That's all that matters and anybody who tells you different is trying to sell you religious snake oil.

Because after Jesus, God began to inspire the start of religions that offer alternatives to believing in him. What was going through God's mind when in 700 A.D. he inspired the start of Islam?

Your are right, we are failing at proclaiming the gospel. And my friend, so are you. God commands us to repent. Jesus said repent ye and believe the gospel. Here it is:

Repentance toward the Father, and faith in Christ Jesus.

He died for our sins, according to the scriptures.

He was buried.

He rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures.

The gospel. Full and complete. Front and center.
