you know how people say their car has a dent in it that looks like Jesus
or a coke can. I think on the news one time there was a woman who saw
a silhouette of Jesus in her toilet.

People have been claiming to see effigies of holy people for a very long time. The whole 'Mary is in my grilled cheese' thing is new, but the concept is ancient.



Personally, I get confused with how I know its Jesus. What did Jesus even look like? Can we really be sure? Am I essentially checking everything to see if I can see male Jews in it? The traditional concept of what Jesus looks like is basically any young-ish dude, with long hair, somewhere between white and olive-colored skin and a look of quite contemplation. This also describes a lot of stoners and homeless people. So I don't really know what to look for or who I'd be seeing if I did see someone. But perhaps I'm just not holy enough to get it.
