We all worship to one God only ,though our ways to reaching him are different just as the food differs for different people but main aim is to nourish the body.

For the last time we did not come from monkeys. How is it the you believer think that gggrrrrr? Get it right.

Personally the world would be much better off if there was no religion, because then we would just have evil people doing evil things, instead of so called good people killing in the name of god.

No, honey, no scientist believed people came from monkeys... you need to listen a bit better in class when school starts after New Years.

And no, we really don't need religions....we need science, and people being kind to each other.

Wars solve nothing. There is no sky daddy, on your side or theirs.

You get one life of about 80 years. Don't make too many mistakes....like getting some babe preggo, paying child support for a kid you never wanted. Stay in school, and get the best education your brain can handle, and have a wonderful life.

Scientists do NOT believe we came from monkeys, Christians evidently do as they keep saying it...

Now, for your question... Religions are OK, as far as I'm concerned. Many people seem to need it. It's when people start believing theirs is the only one and willing to fight over whether someone else should believe it that it becomes dangerous... and is...

i think religion fills an innate need in humans to find meaning and value to life. so for that reason, i think there will always be religion in the world. i personally think it would be better for everyone to believe in one god, (hey---i admit, i'm biased, but that doesn't mean i want to try and legislate it. just say'n) just as many atheist tends to believe that the world would be better off with nobody believing in god ie--on the premise that religion causes wars, ignorance, and holds human progress back, etc...

i don't think it is possible to believe in nothing at all. everyone believes in something, whether they admit it or not. from science to satanism, to various political ideologies, to hedonism or whatever. everyone "believes" something because without some form of belief, man can only be left with despair. if anyone out there thinks i'm off, feel free to call me on it.

of course its up to you to accept or deny any thing u dont believe in

but u cant actually say i dont believe in religion cause actually u did when u believed in god

n thats whats all about in all religions :) if u disagree ill tell u to define religion !!

whether u like it or not religion is relevant to god if u don't have a god ur not a religious

i mean u really cant separate those two things cause there will be no sense in that

It's not a question of "should." There's not authority in the world that can compel one single belief in anything much less religion. In my opinion, all religions are simply a means of controlling people. As a deist I believe that there is or was an initial cause that can be called God but that beyond that we know nothing about this initial cause and he/she/it likely knows nothing about us - or cares.

Scientists believe we came from earlier primates, not monkeys. This belief has nothing to do with religion. It has to do with evidence.

Gods don't exist, so we shouldn't believe in them. Religion does increaasing damage to society. We, as a society, will be much better off once we shed our old superstitions.

If everyone in the world followed the New Testament literally following Jesus there would still be strife. Jesus' disciples competed for the Top Disciple title, which to be selected as "greatest". They asked in Matthew 18:1 "At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" Again, in Matthew 20:[20] "Then came to him the MOTHER of Zebedee's children with her sons (APOSTLES), worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. [21] And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom." Later in verse [24] "And when the ten heard it, they were moved with INDIGNATION against the two brethren. [25] But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. [26] But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;"

Folks still haven't figured it out...but there is a way, the only way in Christ.

Jesus warned He didn't come to bring world peace but a "sword" among family members. Search it out in the Bible, as it is a very interesting study.

You do what God wants you to do and you will do well. Start with Jesus as your savior and lord.

People shouldn't believe things if there isn't any proof for it. Rationality is a much better option than faith. That is, if you think that the truth is beneficial to humans.

Scientists don't "believe", because it's already been proven that we come from primates.

I don't follow a religion either.

While I think it would be nice if we all had one God, there's probably a downside to that, too.

I dunno.
