Two questions religious and philosophical

My friend wants to convert to Christianity/Islam in order to get married.

He says his short and that non religious girl only judge him because of the way he looks and not for who he is. He says if he converts he would be able to get married to a woman who loves him for who he is and not for what he looks like.

His, I think 5’4” or 5’6”

I think his immoral…but am I wrong?

My second question is why do Christians/Muslims always say that their Holy Books are perfect? Isn’t that like Idol worship? I mean isn’t God the only perfect being in the universe? Maybe the message of their Holy Books is divine and thus perfect. And not their Holy Books which were written by men.

their books are along way from perfect, but if they admit that then their worlds kinda fall apart. so they basically plug their ears close their eyes and yell lalalalalala at all the flaws, it has nothing to do with idolitry

The only holy book in the world which has never changed since it came to world 1500 years ago is QURAN and it will never change as long as world exist because it is written from the messages send by God to Prophet only

first his height is not a problem It sounds like his height bring his selfsteem down. My father is short 5´4 and my moms is a great woman, I´m short 5´7 and I´m sure I´ll get that special girl. tell your friend to be positive about how he is because we all got defects that are just different so don´t focus on his bad side and look at the good side we all got that.



When it comes to religion I believe you can be religious from your own home, by praying and being a good person and try to change for good god appreciates that no matter what religion or who are you. "LIVE OPTIMISTIC"

All the holy books contain copying errors. It goes deeper than mere idol worship. They are worshiping the religion instead of the message the religion supposedly presents. It is typical cult insanity.

It is sad when people judge by appearances, but we all do.

I would suggest he wait for another person. It is silly to think that becoming a Christian/Muslims that one will find the person of their dreams. That may not happen.

People of exoteric religions always think that their religion is the best religion. But God accepts all ethical religions and all ethical religions came from God. So no one religion is any better than another.

Answer to the second question:



Christians, like myself, think the Bible is the infallible, inerrant word of God. It was written by men who were "inspired" by God. Not your average joe, someone who God revealed himself to. We don't worship the Bible, we worship God. But since it is literally the word of God, it is perfect like him.
