We live in a world we virtually know nothing about, though we think we do.

Chance? What is chance? Random occurrences...doesn't that explain the inexplicable well enough for now?

Prophecy is in the ears of the hearer...what they do from there is anybody's guess.

Some are right, and some are wrong

according to Deuteronomy 18th chapter I believe verses in 18-21 states that if a prophet prophecies and one does not come true he is to be stoned to death as a false prophet.

there is hope though even for athiests

~ Volitare the athiest that said one day Jesus will be forgotten and the Bible and my writings will live on

on his death bed he cried out "Oh Jesus Christ I am forsaken" yet he wouldnt repent.. the lady nurse said I will never watch over another athiest dying

50 years later his print shop wasnt printing his books, but rather had been bought and was printing bibles.

David in Jesus amazing grace John chapters 3-6 (and especially John 10 about the more abundant life once born again repented of sin, and letting Jesus in.

What prophecies are you asking about. I believe this one...."In the City of God there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb",

The third big war will begin when the big city is burning"

- Nostradamus 1654

I firmly believe in prophecy. I also believe that one way to check the authenticity is to search for others that had the same vision or revelation. I believe God gives the same prophecy to some so that we won't have to wonder and doubt. He will give it to multiple people so that it can be confirmed. Google the prophecy key words and see if anyone else had it. You will be surprised! Additionally, the bible says that many in an assembly have prophecy: pray and ask Him to show you too.

The same chance that John Titor actually came back from the year 2036 in 2000 after stopping in 1973 to get an old IBM computer.

The same chance that David Koresh was actually a disciple who could talk to Jesus.

Point is, we really don't know. No one does. But hey, we'll all find out together won't we!

Technically a prophecy really only applies within the lifetime of the person making the claims. That's my take on it anyway.

His prophecies may have been right when he made them but our collective free will can play out another possibility as in quantum reality. Also we need to ask if the translation and key to interpretation are accurate.

Any ,,prophecy,, is right at one point or other. If i say, that there will be summer in year 2970 and Sahara will be double its size, i am 99% accurate. Observing and deducting the most obvious, is in human nature. And animal too, for that matter.

What i understand of Newton is that he went somewhat nuts in the direction of the tip of his scientific profession. Many historians have self belief that he became tormented by mercury poisoning -- the tip results of his loopy alchemy experiments to coach lead into gold. His "2060" prophecy arose from a thought that he on my own have been "chosen" to locate God's secrets and techniques. i don't provide plenty credence to his later profession, as he looks to have abandoned scientific inquiry for extra occult-like pastimes; possibly due his insanity.

Nostradamus is not the only one who foretold the world disasters many shamans and prophets did.

Being right of Law vs Law is as Loser vs Loser?

"whether prophecies, they shall fail": 1Cor 13:8

"prophecies": grace + law (salvation + damnation)

"they": they say Peace & Safety in law(worketh wrath)

what then? Sudden destruction comes upon they sayers

what sort of destruction? the "no escape" sort: 1Thess5:3

Can we move on,

from what fails to what never fails?

- prophecies fail ... grace + law

- charity never fails ... pure grace

- I will forget you & I will forsake you: Law(Enmity)

- I will never leave nor forsake you: Grace(Friend)

Get hot(grace) or cold(law), as lukewarm won't do.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Check "ALL"..

Jeremiah 6:13 (NIV) "From the least to the greatest, ALL are greedy for gain; prophets and priests alike, ALL practice deceit."

If you are into religion... that ALL INCLUDES EVERYBODY YOU EVER HEARD OF...
