In Hinduism miracles are not given any importance. What is important is the way of spirituality. It the best of all shown by Indian saints. The thoughts and thought process during the passage of travel in spirituality is best explained by them. Levitation of spiritual experiences is done by all. All saints gave a programme to lift up the ones self and achieve the renunciation with that supreme power.
First and foremost they said is,
“Sarve amritasya putrah”
We are all the children of God… a Vedic Quote.
So every person is liable to get close to God. Every person is a part or aansh of the God,
“Aham Brahmasmi”
I am God (indicating God lives inside humans)
They repeated these eternal thoughts from Vedas in simple language, like
“Satyam bruyat priyam bruyat na bruyat satyam apriyam
priyam cha nanrutam bruyat esha dharmah sanatanah”
Only speak the truth that is pleasant to others
Do no speak the truth that might be unpleasant to others
Never speak untruth that is pleasant to others
This is the path of the eternal morality called Sanatana Dharma
They asked the common man/woman to be honest,
“Satyam Vadha Dharmam Chara”
Speak the truth, follow the righteous path
Take one example of Saint Kanhopatra a Lady saint, she said in one poem,
"If you call yourself the Lord of the fallen,
why do O Lord not lift me up?
When I say I am yours alone,
who is to blame but yourself
if I am taken by another man.
When a jackal takes the share of the lion,
it is the great, who is put to shame.
Kanhopatra says, I offer my body at your feet,
protect it, at least for your title."
In short Levitation of the soul was and is common from Gurus in India, which is not a myth. No need of evidence, you have to follow the pure and simple path they are showing. The recitation of sweet name of God is said by all to do this, which is called "Namasmarana".
