Basically you want to know if hell is real. I would say that the best place to look for the answer to that would be the bible. Since hell is a religious teaching then it should be in the bible, but if it's not then the concept of hell is a lie. Since I have a limited number of words I'm able to type I Will post an article below that takes you straight to the bible and tells you what hell really is. I will just sum it up for you. Basically there is not one single scripture in the bible that talks about hell. If you do some research on the origines of the teaching of hell you will find that it is a man-made doctrine that has no biblical support or basis. In some bibles the Greek and Hebrew words for 'grave' have been replaced with the word hell. But the scriptures never speak of torment or a place run by the devil, these scriptures simply mean the common grave. I hope this answers your question.

The demons are here on earth, not in hell. The eternal hell, where the demons (and all unsaved humans) are headed is not yet occupied. But there does appear to be a temporary hell, a holding cell if you will, where the unsaved are being held and are indeed in torment.

In Luke 16 Jesus told a story about two people who died and went to sheol (or hell): Lazarus the poor beggar and a rich man who sometimes threw him crumbs from his table. This story makes it apparent that sheol is a real place, probably located in the center of the earth, and it is divided into two parts, one where the saved were comforted and the other where the unsaved are tormented in heat.

Many insist this was a parable and not a real story, but Jesus did not identify it as a parable nor offer an explanation as he did with so many parables -- and he used actual names in this story, which he did not do in any of the parables. So it does not fit the pattern of a parable. Moreover, if Jesus was telling this as a parable to make a point to the Pharisees based on their own beliefs, his teaching only reinforced false beliefs, and Jesus did so knowing this would end up in the Bible and mislead millions of his followers into a false teaching. This is simply untenable.

The moving day to the eternal hell happens in Revelation 20.

The Bible speaks of blackest darkness being reserved for some, and of a lake of sulphuric fire where Satan and his demons are going to be thrown into - after which the emptied hell is also tossed in, with those who had been in hell and whose names had not been found written in the Book of Life.

All the stuff spoken about demons being in charge of hell, poking victims with tridents and torturing them in ghastly ways, comes from Islamic Hadiths (traditions). The Catholic Dante Aligheiri studied those Islamic beliefs and turned them into his epic writing about hell. THAT is what people today believe. But that is NOT what the Bible says about hell, or the demons!

It's time people were disabused of such gross thinking and got back to the few simple words about hell stated in the Bible, and especially by Jesus. Please read Jesus' words in – Matthew 5:21-30; 10:26-28; 13:40-43; 18:7-9; 23:33; 25:41

Mark 9:43-48 Luke 12:4-6; 16:19-31

Now go to the links which will sort out all the nonsense around Islamic ideas, and Dante's "Inferno". AiH

No. If there is a hell the demons are in it, not tormenting people in it. Hd,des, hades is a negative particle that describes the place of the departed soul. It is translated hell in some versions of the Bible.

Its the place we all go to when we die, good or bad. Any negative punishment in hell is caused by the negative lives we have lead, not by some local demon with a red hot pitchfork. This teaching is found nowhere in the Bible although transferring the blame to others is found in the Bible quite regularly. The Old Testament is based on it.

See the story of the rich man and Lazarus. It is in the presence of the Lamb and the holy angels, Revelation 14:10. It isn't eternal, Acts 2:27 and 31. David prayed to God not to leave his soul in hell several times.

The Greek aion used here designates a period of time, an age. Referring to the Jews specifically it means a messianic period.

This Messianic period is also described as lasting 1000 years. This word should never be translated forever unless that is the period it specifically refers to. The fact that it is translated forever is due to the dishonest hold the apostate Church had on the translators.

Fear was a big selling point for the corrupt god they represented. Scared people gave big gifts to the Church to escape hell. Penance were sold.

Gods representatives would never represent hell as eternal or everlasting because with the proper translation of aion there can be no eternal hell. Its a myth propagated by apostate religions and uneducated people.

You are mistaken in your understanding of this parable and make no mistake, It is a parable. First off hell as most believe Doesn t Exist YET ! the lake of fire at the end of the millennium is Hell or also called the final death. Hell (Sheol in the old testament) rightly translated means: place of the dead, grave or tomb In the new test it s Hades: grave. or Gehenna was a garbage pit which is an example of what the grave and it s content. Now keep in mind that all souls return to God so this parable takes place in heaven . on one side is the place of holding for those who didn t make it, divided by the gulf (an impasse in time where time stops or doesn t exist) on the other side is Paradise where the overcomes are with GOD. the rich man wants God to send a warning to his family. God s reply is: I already sent warnings by MY prophets who were sent to give MY word to any who would listen. Your family has the same chance as u and everyone else has. U must study in the original languages because the English translations is flawed.one Hebrew or Greek word can have more then one meaning and if u use the wrong one it changes the meaning of the entire verse or subject.Example; Antichrist in the Greek means instead of Christ not opposite of or against Christ. I hope this helps answers your question

There is no such thing as a demon or hell, they both do not exist and never have, these ridiculas stories come from the bible who today is no better than an adventure comic, and is now considered as the greatest book of fiction ever written by mortal man himself, these stories were written at a time when people believed in magic, dragons and demons, the questioner, beievesl it sol much because he has been indoctrinated as a child, that he cannot sort out reality from fiction, how sad for a grown man to be,well that is what the CURSE OF MANKIND does to you, about time Religion is outlawed right.

The bad spirits will be tortured in the hell. Spirits are separate elements. A human body is just a toy. A human's mind is just like a computer's mind. After the destruction of a computer completely you will not find it. The same is the case with a human body.

God cannot watch each and every human being at the same time. That's why He had created the spirits to watch, guide and determine the destiny of the human beings from their daily activities, talks and thoughts too. Your past determines your present and your present determines your future. God has given freewill to all creatures including human beings. According to this, all human beings have all right to live a life as they wish. But if it happens to be bad and hurts someone, they have to face the consequences. These consequences are created by spirits. It's a natural system. After death no one lives in any form. Heaven and hell are only for spirits. Spirits are separate elements. A human being is not a single spirit. A human being during his/her life time is living with many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. They are knowledge, skills, feelings, emotions, interests and everything. Even thoughts are not your own. When you want to take a decision on a subject, one after another the spirits think and you just listen, choose or reject the ideas which they transmit to your mind through your brain in the form of thoughts. A human being is just a robot made of flesh, bones, tissues etc., and a toy of the spirits for their games.

No one is tormented in the Biblical hell because everyone buried in hell

( Sheol, Hades) is dead and remains sleeping in death until they are resurrected back to life. Hell will soon be totally eliminated by being figuratively thrown into the symbolic "lake of fire"

What else is thrown into that symbolic lake which represents total destruction? The answer is death, and ultimately Satan and his demons and all who follow him.

Both death and all common graves ( hell) will be no more and all wickedness will be gone forever.

That is a Biblical promise worth waiting for and it will take place.

yes, there are.

Me for instance. Im getting tormented by demons in hell right now.

I've been possessed for about fifteen years.

Heaven is a place of peace and love, of course without the horrendously putrid body made of time. Hell is not that, hell is earth, we're in the literal hell right now as we speak, it's the bad bad place. It's a place of war and disease and death and suffering of all kinds.

These advanced interdimensionals known as demons are not the warden of some place designed to punish bad people. They will not be in charge of any punishments but will recieve the punishments of their own making along with the others.

The angels are also jerkoffs and recieve their nessecary judgements as well, who knew, angels are dickheads to.

The Bible says that “God did not hold back from punishing the angels that sinned, but, by throwing them into Tartarus, delivered them to pits of dense darkness to be reserved for judgment.”—2 Peter 2:4. These wicked angels were not thrown into a literal place called Tartarus. Rather, Tartarus, which is mistranslated “hell” in some Bibles, refers to the abased or fallen condition of these angels. They were cut off from the spiritual light of God’s organization, and they have only everlasting destruction awaiting them. (James 2:19; Jude 6) Since the time of the Flood, God has not permitted these demon angels to take on fleshly bodies, so they cannot directly satisfy their unnatural sexual desires. Yet they can still exercise dangerous power over men and women. In fact, with the help of these demons Satan is “misleading the entire inhabited earth.” (Revelation 12:9)

God doesn't punish people in hell. This belief is taught in churches but is not accurate from what the bible says. What does the Bible say?

“For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, . . . for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going.”—Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10, Revised Standard Version.

The Hebrew word Sheol, which referred to the “abode of the dead,” is translated “hell” in some versions of the Bible. What does this passage reveal about the condition of the dead? Do they suffer in Sheol in order to atone for their errors? No, for they “know nothing.” That is why the patriarch Job, when suffering terribly because of a severe illness, begged God: “Protect me in hell [Hebrew, Sheol].” (Job 14:13; Douay-Rheims Version) What meaning would his request have had if Sheol was a place of eternal torment? Hell, in the Biblical sense, is simply the common grave of mankind, where all activity has ceased.

Is not this definition of hell more logical and in harmony with Scripture? What crime, however horrible, could cause a God of love to torture a person endlessly? (1 John 4:8)

Many people believe in a fiery hell, however, the Bile teaches otherwise.

1) Those in hell are unconscious and so cannot feel pain. "There is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol."-Ecclesiastes 9:10

2) Good people go to hell. The faithful men Jacob and Job expected to go there.-Genesis 37:35; Job 14:13

3) Death, not torment in a fiery hell, is the penalty for sin. "He who has died has been acquitted from his sin."-Romans 6:7

4) Eternal torment would violate God s justice. (Deuteronomy 32:4) When the first man, Adam, sinned, God told him that his punishment would simply be to pass out of existence: "Dust you are and to dust you will return." (Genesis 3:19) God would have been lying if he were actually sending Adam to a fiery hell.

5) God does not even contrary to the Bible s teaching that "God is love."-1 John 4:8; Jeremiah 7:31

Why sure, and they have direct contact to the People still here upon the Earth, that they conspired with, prior to Death this is where the deviate use of Mockery is employed, as the Hellions use those destined to join them, to Advocate against the People that they failed to Possess, when they were here in the Physical. The term " Do you here Voices " is a prime example of the Ability of the Beasts to execute their combined Will.

Technology assists with the non visual Communications to Amplify the contact between the Hellions, and the unsuspecting Victims; which is merely an invasion of Privacy, and can effect the Sanity of the Human Public. Those Hellions with the Canine genealogies are a strong factor within the Dominion of Gahanna, Sheol, and Hades (HELL) ; Dogs do not know when they Die, or lose their Physical beings. When the Hebrew scriptures were translated into Greek in ancient Alexandria around 200 BC, the word "Hades" (the Greek underworld) was substituted for Sheol, and this is reflected in the New Testament where Hades is both the underworld of the dead and the personification of the evil it represents. ...1221.2015 .

No. because hell is mankind's common grave. In the Scriptures fiery torment is associated with destruction and death. For example, in the Greek Septuagint translation of the Hebrew Scriptures the word for torment (ba′sa‧nos) is several times used with reference to punishment by death. (Eze 3:20; 32:24, 30) Similarly, concerning Babylon the Great, the book of Revelation says, “the kings of the earth . . . will weep and beat themselves in grief over her, when they look at the smoke from the burning of her, while they stand at a distance because of their fear of her torment [Gr., ba‧sa‧ni‧smou′].” (Re 18:9, 10) As to the meaning of the torment, an angel later explains: “Thus with a swift pitch will Babylon the great city be hurled down, and she will never be found again.” (Re 18:21) So, fiery torment here is parallel with destruction, and in the case of Babylon the Great, it is everlasting destruction. So there is no scriptures in the bible that speaks about people being tormented by demons in hell.

Nope, It is all made-up nonsense to account for insanity and naughty choices. Since science has explained fairly well how mental illness is a physical malady and poor choices can be modified, there is no need to banish ghouls to hell or exorcise them from children or drown them out of witches.

Grow up! Take responsiblity for your own choices and almost immediately your life will get better. If you can't do that, then counseling may help you. The bible and other religious malarky will not do anything but avoid dealing with the inevitable which is death.

You can make life miserable for yourself and others or you can sober up, develop a passionate interest in something that helps people and enjoy living. LIfe will hand you enough crap without dealing it to yourself!

Any god worth her salt would want that for her creations, just as any mother would want that for her children.

There is no hell- unless you count New Jersey. Jersey sucks! If I lived there, I would move! Go where you want to live and live it as if you mattered. YOU do. .

Hell is an equal opportunity furnace

Have a look at this

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Jesus holds the keys to hell. The devil and his demons aren't in hell yet. They live in the heavenlies, which is an area outside of Heaven. The place of extreme torment, fire and brimstone, was created for the devil and his demons, as well as unrepentant humans. Everyone says we are in "the end times". Hell is getting ready to be full of lotsa humans, demons, and last but not least, the devil. He will be there for 1000 years, and then he will be let loose. After that, Jesus will defeat him and he will finally be dead! Then the world will be free of sin.

There is no hell right now. It won't come about until after the Day of Judgment. There is however, Hades, which doesn't seem too pleasant (Lk 16:23-24). There is nothing to indicate that demons do any sort of torturing in Hades.

No, people aren't getting tormented by demons in hell.

The Bible does not say that demons torture people, the Bible says that the lake of fire was created for satan and the demons where THEY will be the ones who will be tormented day and night forever and forever. The unrighteous will also go there to the second resurrection of death.

Are people getti ( Getting) tormented by demons in Hell ?

It is amazing how the human brain attempts to fill in typographical errors for the possibly intended word or message

I have no observations of some religions projection of a conceptional "Hell" It appears to be a perception or conception of a ancient group of people

and for some reason persist among people who have privy to tools of measurement . observation. investigation. yet no "hell is ever demonstrated nor are "demons"

. Yet the notion persist among many My dictionary tells me the word Getti per the urban dictionary is the practice of relieving oneself of a cell phone within 48 house of purchase

.. How that is relative to a conceptional hell or perceived demons is beyond my reasoning

..perhaps the conceptional god is anti - cell phone because it might expose that cell phones with cameras captures a reflection of reality and no hell or demons are part of reality and is only asserted or imagined

kind of like the decline in claimed alien abductions with the advent of cell phones with cameras . ever ready to ones disposal 24 hours a day

. Thank you for the question

No. First of all, no one has been cast into hell yet. The demons and Satan have been judged and will be destroyed in hell (the lake of fire) but humans have not been judged yet. Demons and Satan DO NOT have everlasting life in a place called hell where they rule as part of some kind of kingdom designed to torture human beings forever. That idea came straight out of erroneous catholic theology fostered to get catholics to fall in line with their teachings.

God being a God of mercy would never torment people forever. Romans 6:23 states that "For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord". So in harmony with Ecclesiastes 9:5 the dead know nothing at all. They are in God's memory awaiting a resurrection.

No. Hell is not a place of burning and of torment it is a state of inactivity at death and the grave to which all mankind rest when they die. Even Jesus himself went there for a time. Note Acts 2:31

The Bible states that the time when humans are judged whether to go to Hell or not is the time of the Great White Throne Judgment that takes place after Jesus second coming and His 1000 year rule on the planet Earth. But as far as people experiencing pain and suffering, that occurs during the present time on the planet Earth.

Oh absolutely. Let me quote this two thousand or so year old agglomeration of various stories written over long stretches of time that was translated who knows how many times (perfectly, don't you doubt it for a second, ignore that "almah" from the original Hebrew text simply means young woman, not virgin). Also ignore that the writers had a very bronze age understanding of how the world works, because god.

Oh wait.. you're not convinced? Well, the demons are stoking the fires especially for the likes of you. Using your critical faculties is actually a clever trick of the devil.

"Are people getting tormented by demons in Hell. What is happening in Hell now"?

In Hell right now, the "sinners" are sitting around drinking beer, fornicating, and having a good time. Whereas the "righteous" are condemmed to spend eternity in Heaven, playing a harp all day and being bored out of their minds.

There is an account I read of about a young woman named Maria who was told by Jesus that at a certain day and time, she would die just long enough to be granted visions of Heaven and Hell. At the appointed time, she gathered her family and she died.

Jesus escorted her to both realms. She came back with accounts of demons that torture people in Hell. She said a demon was torturing an 8 year old boy with a dart-like device. The boy was screaming. She asked Jesus how someone that age wound up in Hell and Jesus told her the boy was disrespectful with his parents and died after being struck by a car. She said Jesus was crying over those who were in Hell for eternity. She added that it was hard to explain but that Jesus doesn't cry as we do.

Bill Weiss is a man who also died and was given a vision of Hell for 23 minutes. He wrote a book about it called "23 Minutes in Hell." He said he was tortured by a 10 foot tall demon with razor claws and those in Hell feel pain but 10 times worse than Earthly pain. He said people in Hell were raped. He did not say if the perpetrators were demons but I have to assume they are. He also said that demons torture people in Hell by pouring fire over their heads. He added that even the strongest humans are no match for the strength of demons because demons can hurl around any human. He witnessed a demon shoving hot coals into a girl's mouth and mocking her by telling her, "You thought you were getting away with something, didn't you?" Bill said some experiences were indescribable and it took him a full year to calm down enough to discuss them.

No, The Bible does not teach hellfire, the Bible teaches that the dead are not conscience of anything at all, that the living on conscience that they will die but the dead are not aware of anything ( Ecclesiastes 9:5 ). The Bible also mentions that God is love, why would a God of love put man through such a horrible thing (John 4:8). I would like to invite you to this website where you can get accurate answers to your questions, and you could also request a free home Bible study where someone from your area will be happy to come and study the Bible with you, so that you can get a clear understanding of what happens to you when you die. Nothing is happening because there is no such thing as a place of torment. Hell is simply the grave where good and bad people go to. Job wanted to go to hell (the grave) to end his suffering. Job 14:13

No. This is not a bible-base teaching. By revealing the true condition of the dead, the Bible helps us to dispel any morbid fear of death. There is no need to fear an afterlife of torture by demons in a burning hell. No need to fear a dark ghostly realm where souls wander restlessly forever. And you need not fear that all the future has to offer is an eternal state of nonexistence. Why? Because God has a limitless memory, and he promises to bring all the dead who are in his memory back to life here on earth. The Bible guarantees this with the words: “The true God is for us a God of saving acts; and to Jehovah the Sovereign Lord belong the ways out from death.” (Psalm 68:20)

Actually there are two types of hell. The Christian one where followers fall short and are sent there by angels, so loving and holy right? Then there the real hell, a safe place for souls dedicated to Satan. Want to read more or know more? Joyofsatan.com

To answer your question, yes. Hell is the demons territory and they have every right to enjoy torturing humans that go there. Hell was not made for humans but for Lucifer and his angels. Humans had there sins paid for by Christ and have a free ticket to heaven, so it's their own fault if they go to hell.

No they arent - the dead know nothing at all. The Bible tells us the lake of fire "means the second death".

When we die we return to dust but we have the opportunity of being resurrected to a paradise earth, just as God originally planned for mankind. He made us to live on the earth and adam and eve would still be alive today had they not rebelled and backed satan in his lies.

God will remember the details of each one of us until the day of resurrection when the dead will hear the voice of Jesus and return to life.

There will be 1000 years during which time people will have the opportunity to show their faithfulness and integrity to God almighty. At the end of that time, if people have decided against serving God they will receive the "second death" - basically they will die and never return. No burning eternally.

The Bible tells us that death will be thrown in the lake of fire because it means complete destruction

No. Hell and demons are fabrications. They are designed to secure compliant behavior of members of certain religious cultures. Homo sapiens has been 'naturally selected' to live 120 years. Perhaps our shorter life span is a kind of demon and hell occasion.

No! The Bible tells us that the dead know only their grave. No one goes to hell. It is a place that is specifically made for Satan and (fallen angels) demons. Only human beings who are alive can be tormented.

Lake of fire, symbol of destroyed forever- death is cast into it, death is a thing that happens, symbolic beast are cast into it, symbols are not living things and hell is cast into it, hell is mankinds grave, to hell potatoes is to cover over, when a person dies they are covered over in the grave (Rev 20:10,14)

At Rev 21:3-4 it says no more dying, this is because death is no more, no more death no need of the grave!

Lake of fire is the second death, in other words it will never exist again, it's gone forever!

The fact of the matter, NO, God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked, Hell is the grave of all the unsaved souls so when God Jesus Christ comes back to judge the living and the dead and too destroy the heaven and the earth by fire, the second death, where the heaven and the earth shall be burned up, by the hell fires. Once you die your dead you don't exist anymore, unless God Jesus Christ saves you before you die. NO exceptions. Hell is not a place of torment. God has NO pleasure in the death of the wicked, and most of mankind is wicked. Only God elect is not wicked because God Jesus Christ has saved them out of the kingdom of Satan and brought them into the kingdom of God Jesus Christ, like he did with Saul of Tarsus.

There are no real demons devils or satan. Like everything in the bible it is not physical. The devil is the mind. The mind has the ability to think for itslef and to decide what is right and wrong. That is the devil- the mind. God didnt make some powerful satan figure he made you and your mind. It is up to you if you want a devil as part of your mind.

In death all are equal. Death is the destruction of the individual, a return to non-existence. However, judgment does occur at death, and those judged wicked shall remain dead forever. The righteous are promised a resurrection, a recreation when Paradise is established soon on earth.

They're being tormented that's for sure - the searing heat, no water, no relief at all, ever. Many are screaming and begging God for one more chance but they won't get it. Those who realize that they won't get that chance are probably cursing God and the day they were ever born...regretting that they rejected Jesus Christ as Lord. Trust in Jesus Christ today as your Lord and Savior and you'll never have to worry about going to hell.

Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! - Words of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in the Gospel of Matthew 13:40-43

Please pray about these Scriptures before you read them, and ask God to give you understanding so you will really know. Please read Luke 16:19-31 (Rich man and poor man go to Heaven and the other to hell), then read Isaiah 14:1-24 about Lucifer (Satan) who is also called The Prince of Babylon, "Destroyed and cursed city".

Number 23:19, says, "God is not man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent; haven't He said it and He not do it?, or haven't He spoken, and shall not make it good?:

God bless you as you understand TRUTH from His Word!

Souls are only assigned to Heaven or Hell on Judgement day.

As Jesus told the good thief, "you will be with me in paradise today".

Hell was created for the devil & his demons, to be apart from GOD.

Ok I have trouble with several concepts of Hell and I will try to answer this question as neutral as I can to illustrate a point. In my life's work with Heaven, Purgatory/Spiritual Realm, and our Earth/Physical Realm I never seen any evidence for Hell to exist. I'm not saying Hell does not exist, I just haven't had any observations or experience with it so I can't comment on it other than offering possible speculations why it is not here.

I am only speaking from the experiences I had with Heavenly Angels, a royal figure I am assuming was Jesus, and the deceased Humans that were separated from Heaven in the Purgatory Spiritual Realm I have observed as well.

In regards to the Purgatory Spiritual Realm where deceased Humans reside they seem obsessed and fixated on the living of our world and are always close by, some of these deceased humans wish they could return back to the living, others felt they had unfinished business or their life was unjustly taken away from them in a murder etc. Others are in denial of their death and pretend to be alive and try to associate with the living and that is a really sad site to see.

I can only speculate why these people are here, perhaps they never had accepted the Divine offer of forgiveness or never asked for the Divine's help. By Spiritual Law if we do not ask for our Divine's help it would be wrong for our Divine to get involved with us and that is the Spiritual Law the deceiver exploits to keep deceased people in this area! I truly believe though that all those poor souls have to do is cross into the light and accept the Divine as part of their family but most chose not to out of fear that no spiritual entity returns from the light once they enter it so they assume it is the second death while the others can't let go of the living Earth.

But for me, if I die and end up in this Purgatory Spiritual place I am going to the light immediately and if Heaven is on the other side I will be home with family, if there is nothing on the other side of the light that will be my personal Hell because I will spend an eternity trying to find the spiritual family I met in Heaven over 29 years ago, that would be my torment but why did I see no evidence of Hell in my 50+ years of research of this delicate subject?

Why is there no Hell? Well from a biblical standpoint some people have interpreted that Hell will not exist until Judgment day arrives from God. Since the final judgment has not occurred Hell is either not created yet or is unoccupied until the judgment day arrives. The fallen angels, demons, and other spiritual bodies that opposed God fell to Earth and are very close to us in the Spiritual purgatory Realm of Earth along with the deceased but those Angel Rebels seem to be separated from the deceased Humans in the Spiritual Realm so maybe that is why these deceased Humans are confused. I can assure you though the fallen angels and demons are trying their best to influence the living beings on the physical Realm of Earth from the many observations I had of them.

When you think about our situation from a biblical sense the equation is really quite easy to understand:

For the Humans that accepted the Grace from God through Jesus and passed away, I know are in Heaven.

For the rest of us that are currently living we are separated from God by the Physical Realm of Earth we reside in but can restore our relationship with Him through Jesus.

For the dearly departed Humans that have rejected God and passed away they are in the Spiritual Purgatory Realm separated from Heaven very near Earth.

For the Fallen Angels that rebelled from God they too have been separated from Heaven and are also in the Spiritual Purgatory Realm but are forbidden to have interaction with the deceased humans for some unknown reason? They can influence the living World though through temptation and false divine directive until judgment day arrives and they will stop at nothing to exploit our weakness until they are destroyed when Judgment day arrives where the Spiritual Laws will be settled once and for all.

So that is my take on what I have observed from all the entities I had contact with over my lifetime and I do not see any evidence or need for Hell until Judgment day arrives and to be honest I am not sure what will happen once judgment day arrives for the unsaved deceased humans that rejected God? My only speculation is that Hell is a quick end to the existence of rebellious Angels and Humans that reject God so there is no torment just a quick end to their existence. Do you know how frightening that is to a rebellious Angel that is semi omniscient and existed for billions of years to be finally be destroyed by God on judgment day? That is why I feel they fear and tremble whenever they come into His presence!

That last thing I want to comment on the concept of Hell is that people's belief of what happens there makes no sense to me from a logical point of view? Why would God give Fallen Angels and Demons a reward called Hell for them to torment deceased Human Beings that rejected God for eternity? God is extremely angry at these Fallen Angels/Demons and they will not be rewarded in Hell to torment anyone so that is why I feel that Hell is the method of execution, and not torment, for Fallen Angels/Demons and Humans that reject God's help and love for them. The justice system may not seem fair to some people but I think it is fair and just to do so and I can live with that decision.

In conclusion I hope my neutral observations and speculations about Hell does not cause anyone to be agitated, apprehensive or frightened about the situation because I truly feel we are in control of our destiny. We can face judgment alone or we can ask for family and a mighty Royal friend to help us face our impurities within our being. In order to exist forever one has to be perfect and flawless otherwise entropy will eventually cause our decay and decline and that would be a horrible 2nd death to face. If I can't have the impurities removed from me by Jesus and God I will gladly take God's quick and merciful end to an eternity I would end up suffering in.

What Really Is Hell?

WHATEVER image the word “hell” brings to your mind, hell is generally thought of as a place of punishment for sin. Concerning sin and its effect, the Bible says: “Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned.” (Romans 5:12) The Scriptures also state: “The wages sin pays is death.” (Romans 6:23) Since the punishment for sin is death, the fundamental question in determining the true nature of hell is: What happens to us when we die?

Does life of some kind, in some form, continue after death? What is hell, and what kind of people go there? Is there any hope for those in hell? The Bible gives truthful and satisfying answers to these questions.

Life After Death?

Does something inside us, like a soul or a spirit, survive the death of the body? Consider how the first man, Adam, came to have life. The Bible states: “Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life.” (Genesis 2:7) Though breathing sustained his life, putting “the breath of life” into his nostrils involved much more than simply blowing air into his lungs. It meant that God put into Adam’s lifeless body the spark of life—“the force of life,” which is active in all earthly creatures. (Genesis 6:17; 7:22) The Bible refers to this animating force as “spirit.” (James 2:26) That spirit can be compared to the electric current that activates a machine or an appliance and enables it to perform its function. Just as the current never takes on the features of the equipment it activates, the life-force does not take on any of the characteristics of the creatures it animates. It has no personality and no thinking ability.

What happens to the spirit when a person dies? Psalm 146:4 says: “His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish.” When a person dies, his impersonal spirit does not go on existing in another realm as a spirit creature. It “returns to the true God who gave it.” (Ecclesiastes 12:7) This means that any hope of future life for that person now rests entirely with God.

The ancient Greek philosophers Socrates and Plato held that a soul inside a person survives death and never dies. What does the Bible teach about the soul? Adam “came to be a living soul,” says Genesis 2:7. He did not receive a soul; he was a soul—a whole person. The Scriptures speak of a soul’s doing work, craving food, being kidnapped, experiencing sleeplessness, and so forth. (Leviticus 23:30; Deuteronomy 12:20; 24:7; Psalm 119:28) Yes, man himself is a soul. When a person dies, that soul dies.—Ezekiel 18:4.

What, then, is the condition of the dead? When pronouncing sentence upon Adam, Jehovah stated: “Dust you are and to dust you will return.” (Genesis 3:19) Where was Adam before God formed him from the dust of the ground and gave him life? Why, he simply did not exist! When he died, Adam returned to that state of complete absence of life. The condition of the dead is made clear at Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10, where we read: “The dead know nothing . . . In the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.” (New International Version) Scripturally, death is a state of nonexistence. The dead have no awareness, no feelings, no thoughts.

Unending Torment or Common Grave?

Since the dead have no conscious existence, hell cannot be a fiery place of torment where the wicked suffer after death. What, then, is hell? Examining what happened to Jesus after he died helps to answer that question. The Bible writer Luke recounts: “Neither was [Jesus] forsaken in Hades [hell, King James Version] nor did his flesh see corruption.”* (Acts 2:31) Where was the hell to which even Jesus went? The apostle Paul wrote: “I handed on to you . . . that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that he was buried, yes, that he has been raised up the third day according to the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4) So Jesus was in hell, the grave, but he was not abandoned there, for he was raised up, or resurrected.

Consider also the case of the righteous man Job, who suffered much. Wishing to escape his plight, he pleaded: “Who will grant me this, that thou mayest protect me in hell [Sheol], and hide me till thy wrath pass?”* (Job 14:13, Douay Version) How unreasonable to think that Job desired to go to a fiery-hot place for protection! To Job, “hell” was simply the grave, where his suffering would end. The Bible hell, then, is the common grave of mankind where good people as well as bad ones go.

Hellfire—All-Consuming?

Could it be that the fire of hell is symbolic of all-consuming, or thorough, destruction? Separating fire from Hades, or hell, the Scriptures say: “Death and Hades were hurled into the lake of fire.” “The lake” mentioned here is symbolic, since death and hell (Hades) that are thrown into it cannot literally be burned. “This [lake of fire] means the second death”—death from which there is no hope of coming back to life.—Revelation 20:14.

The lake of fire has a meaning similar to that of “the fiery Gehenna [hell fire, King James Version]” that Jesus spoke of. (Matthew 5:22; Mark 9:47, 48) Gehenna occurs 12 times in the Christian Greek Scriptures, and it refers to the valley of Hinnom, outside the walls of Jerusalem. When Jesus was on earth, this valley was used as a garbage dump, “where the dead bodies of criminals, and the carcasses of animals, and every other kind of filth was cast.” (Smith’s Dictionary of the Bible) The fires were kept burning by adding sulfur to burn up the refuse. Jesus used that valley as a proper symbol of everlasting destruction.

As does Gehenna, the lake of fire symbolizes eternal destruction. Death and Hades are “hurled into” it in that they will be done away with when mankind is freed from sin and the condemnation of death. Willful, unrepentant sinners will also have their “portion” in that lake. (Revelation 21:8) They too will be annihilated forever. On the other hand, those in God’s memory who are in hell—the common grave of mankind—have a marvelous future.

Hell Emptied!

Revelation 20:13 states: “The sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades gave up those dead in them.” Yes, the Bible hell will be emptied. As Jesus promised, “the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Jesus’] voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29) Although no longer presently existing in any form, millions of dead ones who are in Jehovah God’s memory will be resurrected, or brought back to life, in a restored earthly paradise.—Luke 23:43; Acts 24:15.

In the new world of God’s making, resurrected humans who comply with his righteous laws will never need to die again. (Isaiah 25:8) Jehovah “will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” In fact, “the former things [will] have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4) What a blessing is in store for those in hell—“the memorial tombs”! This blessing indeed is reason enough for us to take in more knowledge of Jehovah God and his Son, Jesus Christ.—John 17:3.

[Footnotes]

In the King James Version, the Greek word Hades is rendered “hell” in each of its ten occurrences in the Christian Greek Scriptures. The rendering at Luke 16:19-31 mentions torment, but the entire account is symbolic in meaning. See chapter 88 of The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived, published by Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The Hebrew word Sheol occurs 65 times in the Hebrew Scriptures and is rendered “hell,” “grave,” and “pit” in the King James Version.

In Hell there is constant torment. After the 1000 year Millennium Reign of Christ, souls in Hell will be cast into the eternal Lake of Fire where they together with Satan and all demons will be tormented forever (Revelation 20:10). At that time, both Hell and death will also be dumped into the Lake of Fire. The Lord Jesus Christ preached many times on Hell to sufficiently warn us.

Jesus describes Hell:

Mark 9:44-48

Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

The Lord Jesus describes Hell as an actual place in the afterlife:

Luke 16:22-24

“The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

The Lord Jesus says it is a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth:

"There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. (Luke 13:28)

Hell and the Lake of Fire are very real and we need to make the Son of God Jesus Christ our personal Saviour and Lord in order to enter Heaven. After a person's death, if the shed blood of Christ is not covering them, God is not going to accept them into Heaven. They would go to Hell and then be thrown into the Lake of Fire prepared for the devil and his demons.

The Lord Jesus Christ preached numerous times about Hell, not to scare the people but to reveal the truth, and show where those who reject God by rejecting Him end up. For those of us who have not received the actual visions of Hell and the Lake of Fire, what more proof do we need?

God the Son (Jesus Christ) preaching about Hell:

Matthew 5:28,29…

“But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.”

Matthew 16:18…

“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Matthew 23:33-34

“Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city."

Mark 9:45,46…

“And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”

Luke 10:15…

“And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.”

Luke 12:5…

“But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.”

Revelation 1:18…

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”

Matthew 25:41

“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

The Lord Jesus Christ revealed the Lake of Fire to John in visions:

Revelation 20:10

And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Revelation 21:8

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Revelation 20:15

And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:14

Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

Revelation 19:20

And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

REDEMPTION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH

Because mankind is incapable of meeting God’s standard of perfection necessary to abide in God’s presence (Romans 3:19-20,23), God sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the total debt for the believer’s sins and mercifully credits to his account Christ’s righteousness (Romans 3:21-28,5:1-11; 2 Corinthians 5:18-21). Jesus’ gracious act of atonement was complete and covers all sin (Colossians 2:13-14; 1 John 1:9). Salvation is not based on good deeds but according to the mercy of God (Titus 3:4-5). Believers are justified by faith; it is a gift by God’s grace (Romans 4:3-8; Ephesians 2:8-9). A true, living faith will result in a desire to live a holy, loving life of good works (Ephesians 2:10; Galatians 5:6; James 2:14-26), but failure to be absolutely successful at righteous living does not negate the believer’s justified status.

If you sincerely say this prayer, your sins will be washed away, you will be redeemed to God, be saved from eternal torment and inherit the Kingdom of God:

"Dear Jesus,

I am a sinner.

I repent of my sins.

Please forgive me and save me by your shed blood;

I want to receive you as my own personal Lord and Savior.

Amen"
