There is a Scripture that say: "Sons will against Fathers and Daughters Against Mothers and So on...

That Scripture is Speaking About >RELIGION AND BELIEF IN THE TRUTH.



As this Generation gets Older And Older; Those That Choose To Live in Truth Instead of What The Parents Were taught..because the Truth wasn't REVEILED to Them then; Will Get Closer to being Accepted with The Most High.

Even if we ignore the evidence and assume that Jesus was killed on a cross, should it be venerated? No, for Jesus was executed as a criminal, like the men impaled alongside him, and his manner of death misrepresented him in the worst way. First-century Christians would not have viewed the instrument of his execution as sacred. Venerating it would have meant glorifying the wrong deed committed on it, the murder of Jesus.

If your dearest friend were executed on false charges, would you make an image of the instrument of execution (say a hangman’s noose or an electric chair or the rifle of a firing squad) and then kiss that replica, burn candles before it, or wear it around your neck as a sacred ornament? That would be unthinkable. So, too, with the adoration of the cross. The fact that the cross is of pagan origin only makes the matter worse.

The veneration of the cross is not Christian. It does not show love for God or Christ but mocks what they stand for. It violates God’s commandments against idolatry. It reveres a pagan symbol masquerading as Christian. (Exodus 20:4, 5; Psalm 115:4-8; 1 Corinthians 10:14) To consider a pagan symbol as sacred violates God’s command: “Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? . . . ‘Quit touching the unclean thing.’”—2 Corinthians 6:14, 17.

You should be more worried about veneration of celebrities and money than of the symbols you use. The symbols are just a part of the ritual. It's just like if you praying through a saint's intercession, you aren't praying directly to that saint. As long as you know that you're not actually worshiping those symbols, then it's fine.

You are perfectly on track if you believe that it is a sinful act to worship statues n other creations than god Himself, the one and only, worthy of being worshiped without any partners, that's what Jesus told his people to worship the one god who does not have any figure or shape that we can visualise

We have to worship him without any intermediaries, who created us all including Jesus

So worship him alone, and get yourself a certificate for paradise.

It is wrong to kneel in front of a statue, even if you are not praying to the statue. I don't think a necklace is wrong.

Those objects that you refer to idols are not idols. They are reminders of the person we are praying to - we are not praying to the object. I have a photo of my father that I often kiss. It is not the paper I am kissing but it is a symbolic gesture and the image on the paper is a reminder of the person.

That is very different than actually worshiping the object itself.
