Question:
is this an example on how muslims try to convert people?

first to tell you, I AM CHRISTIAN
this was written (by more than likely a muslim) as follows :
"Elohim El, Elah, Alah
In the Bible, God is very often referred to as ‘Elohim’ in the Hebrew language. The ‘im’ in the ending is a plural of honour and God is referred to as ‘El’ or ‘Elah’ in the English Bible with commentary, edited by reverend C. I. Scofield. ‘Elah’ is alternatively spelled as ‘Alah’. The difference in spelling is only of a single ‘L’. Muslims spell Allah as ‘Allah’ while the Reverend has spelled it as Alah and they pronounce it as ‘Elah’. Muslims pronounce it as Allah. Hebrew and Arabic are sister languages therefore we say it should be pronounced as ‘Allah’ and not as ‘Elah’.

When I was in school, I was taught ‘D, O’ is do, ‘T, O’ is to. What is ‘G, O’ It is ‘go’ and not ‘gu’. ‘N, U, T’ is nut, ‘C, U, T’ cut; ‘B, U, T’ is but, what is ‘P, U, T’? Not ‘pat’ but it is ‘put’. If you ask "Why?" The answer is "It is their language". If I have to pass I have to say ‘P, U, T’ is ‘put’ and not ‘pat’. Similarly the right pronunciation for A, L, L, A, H, is Allah.
Jesus (pbuh) cried out Allah Allah when he was put on the cross
It is mentioned in the New Testament in the Gospel of Mathew, chapter 27 verse 46 as well as Gospel of Mark, chapter 15 verse 34 when Jesus (pbuh) was put on the cross.

Jesus cried with a loud voice saying "E’-Li, E’-Li la’-ma sa-bach’-tha-ni?" that is to say, ‘My God, My God why hast Thou Forsaken Me?’ Does this sound like Jehovah! Jehovah! why has thou forsaken me? Does it sound like Abba Abba? The answer is ‘No’. Hebrew and Arabic are sister languages and if you translate "E’-Li, E’-Li la’-ma sa-bach’-tha-ni" into Arabic it is ‘Allah Allah lama tarak tani’ does it sound similar?

This statement of Jesus (pbuh), "E’-Li, E’-Li la’-ma sa-bach’-tha-ni" is preserved in its original Hebrew in each and every of its translation which is available in more than 2000 different languages of the world and in each and every of them, "Allah" is present.

"Allah" in Sikhism
One of the names by which Gurunanak Sahib referred to God is "Allah".
"Allah" in Hinduism
"Allah" in Rigveda Book 2 Hymn I verse II
Even in the Rigveda which is the most sacred scripture of the Hindus, one of the attributes given to God Almighty in Book no 2 Hymn no I verse II, is ‘Ila’ which if pronounced properly is the same as Allah.
Allo Upanishad:
Amongst the various Upanishads one of the Upanishad is named as ‘Allo’ Upanishad in which God is referred to as "Allah" several times.

Mohammad (PBUH) is foretold in Christianity

"...And though I have been innocent in the world, since men have called me "God," and "Son of God," God, in order that I be not mocked of the demons on the day of judgement, hath willed that I be mocked of men in this world by the death of Judas, makeing all men to believe that I died upon the cross. And this mocking shall continue until the advent of Mohammed, the messenger of God, who, when he shall come, shall reveal this deception to those who believe in God's law." ( Gospel of Barnabas Ch# 220 )"

DO MUSLIMS TRY TO CHANGE THE TEXT IN ORDER TO CONVERT A CHRISTIAN?

Nope. You're just on crack.

We don't seek to convert people. We just offer the choice to, and be as welcoming as possible. Not like Christian missionaries, who steal babies from African countries and put them for adoption in western nations to forcibly convert them.

Dunno about that but this makes a lot more sense.

Arabian folklore

In pre-Islamic Arabia, Hubal - the Moon God, (aka Allah) was worshipped as a pagan deity with a family of deities around him. Among these was a triad of goddesses who were were called "the three daughters of Allah": al-Lat ("the Goddess") Al-Uzza ("Power") the youngest, and Manat ("Fate") the crone, "the third, the other". They were known collectively as the three cranes. The name al-Lat is known from the time of the histories of Herodotus in which she is named Alilat, meaning "The Goddess". It is these goddesses who were said to have been briefly interpolated into an early version of the Qur'an in the apocryphal Satanic Verses.

Allah quite simply means 'god'. Any god is called allah by that particular language group. It doesn't refer to any specific god, its just a god.

BTW, triple manifestations of gods and goddesses were very common in ancient mythology, and is probably the source of the 'trinity' in the Christian religious beliefs.

These three goddesses did appear in the koran, as mohammed's family were caretakers of the kaba (which simply means cube) where ALL the gods and goddesses of Arabian mythology were worshipped. There used to be something in excess of 360 statues of the gods surrounding the kaaba. Mohammed then saw that adding the three goddesses weakened the position of his 'allah' and abrogated these verses, saying that he was led astray by Satan during a moment of weakness. These verses were then 'removed' from the koran several centuries after they first appeared. It is possible to find copies of what these verses contained.

Amongst mohammed's tribe, Hubal was their chief god and a statue of him was erected on top of the kaaba. When Mohammed came along with his new religion, he tore down all the statues and made it a place of worship for his version of allah.

Of interest is that the chief god here was the moon god. Guess what the symbol for islam is? No prizes for guessing its the crescent moon.

Conversion is not part of our faith, you must have us confused with someone else. There are 1.6 billion Muslims with thousands upon thousands reverting every year of there own volition. Did you ever in your life have a Muslim knock your door "spreading the word of the Quran"? Nope you never did.

We dont need to canvas people, there hearts open to Islam and they come of there own accord. I have never once tried to convert a single person christian or otherwise.

I do though get many Christians and Jehovah's Witnesses trying to convert me, knocking my door, handing out cards in town, leaflets through my door, and preaching in my town center. Which is fine by me they dont bother me, let them try its OK with me I am not offended and it affects my worship in no way at all. So dont judge us by your standards and tactics we dont need any. The truth always outs.
