Predominant question. Why Hinduism is wrongly misrepresented as Idol worship? Reply. The first reason is that the distinct practices by using special cultures in India that wouldn't have a religious title have been conglomerated into a package deal known as 'Hinduism' by means of foreigners and the pity is such an action has been acknowledged by way of the Indians themselves! The special practices include pagan worship, nature worship, symbol worship, idol worship, no idols and so forth. If 'Hinduism' is a faith how might it be viable for a lot of a style of various practices inside its fold? Hence, it is clear that what is practiced in Indian context is a free tradition that had been regularly passed down by using the ancestors belonging to one of a kind neighborhood regions and now not any artificial man-created religion. So, with no formal drawback, what the foreigners have achieved is to bundle and manufacturer the tradition as a religion and linked it with idol-worship which was once comfortably seen with the aid of them, with little resistance from the practitioners themselves! The second purpose is that the basic scriptures in the case of God are in Sanskrit language, which the common people are usually not informed with what sincerely they say, however at the identical had no compulsion to comply with in follow what the scriptures have said. The actual fact the scriptures very obviously say that God cannot be limited by a kind shouldn't be known to normal humans. The absence of a religious dictate, which is an most important ingredient of an artificial faith, has made individuals to follow their own methodology that incorporate idol worship. That's as a result not a fault of scriptures. Nor the folks can also be faulted, as God does not get 'irritated' if worshiped in a kind! Counter query- Did God forbid anyone to make photo of him or trying to figure him out? Absolutely no!

It depends on what is your Goal? GOD's Grace for what? Grace for your material well being Or spiritual well being?

Good Conduct is the basic thing needed. It should be basic Human Quality.

1.By being good, you obtain good karma. You may be prosperous, healthy and happy in this or next life. (as every action has a consequence).

2. But if you want to know the Truth / Merge with GOD / Go back to Source / know your eternal relationship with Him, then Idol worship is not enough. You need a right Guru who has mastered himself and can guide you to the highest.

The Nine Processes of Devotional Service are

1. HEARING (sravanam)

2. CHANTING (kirtanam)

3. REMEMBERING( visnu smaranam)

4. SERVING (pada sevanam)

5. DEITY-WORSHIP (arcanam)

6. PRAYING (vandanam)

7. EXECUTING ORDERS (dasyam)

8. SERVING AS A FRIEND (sakhyam)

9. COMPLETE SURRENDER (atma nivedanam)

Now what else left?? Each part of body is used in devotion.

BG 12.1: Arjuna inquired: Which are considered to be more perfect, those who are always properly engaged in Your devotional service or those who worship the impersonal Brahman, the unmanifested?

BG 12.2: The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Those who fix their minds on My personal form and are always engaged in worshiping Me with great and transcendental faith are considered by Me to be most perfect.

BG 12.3-4: But those who fully worship the unmanifested, that which lies beyond the perception of the senses, the all-pervading, inconceivable, unchanging, fixed and immovable — the impersonal conception of the Absolute Truth — by controlling the various senses and being equally disposed to everyone, such persons, engaged in the welfare of all, at last achieve Me.

BG 12.5: For those whose minds are attached to the unmanifested, impersonal feature of the Supreme, advancement is very troublesome. To make progress in that discipline is always difficult for those who are embodied.

BG 12.6-7: But those who worship Me, giving up all their activities unto Me and being devoted to Me without deviation, engaged in devotional service and always meditating upon Me, having fixed their minds upon Me, O son of Pṛthā — for them I am the swift deliverer from the ocean of birth and death.

BG 12.8: Just fix your mind upon Me, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and engage all your intelligence in Me. Thus you will live in Me always, without a doubt.

BG 12.9: My dear Arjuna, O winner of wealth, if you cannot fix your mind upon Me without deviation, then follow the regulative principles of bhakti-yoga. In this way develop a desire to attain Me.

BG 12.10: If you cannot practice the regulations of bhakti-yoga, then just try to work for Me, because by working for Me you will come to the perfect stage.

BG 12.11: If, however, you are unable to work in this consciousness of Me, then try to act giving up all results of your work and try to be self-situated.

BG 12.12: If you cannot take to this practice, then engage yourself in the cultivation of knowledge. Better than knowledge, however, is meditation, and better than meditation is renunciation of the fruits of action, for by such renunciation one can attain peace of mind.
