I'm doing some homework on this religion and I have two questions left that are true/false. They are:

Submission to God is not central to the Islamic faith? (True or False)

God's words as revealed to Muhammed are found in the Tanach? (True or False)

If anyone can help me with these, it'd be greatly appreciated. :D

Thanks!!

When Allah reveals himself to His people, the people must rise up and shake the chains of the world and bring forth the crashing tempest that is Allah's fury, but at once also the still waters that are his love and mercy.

True

False

You brought up a very interesting point. Even though Islam and Muslim mean submitting to Allah, Muslims center on the five pillar instead of the Quran. It is very different from Christianity that center on fellowship with God and submission (believe in) to God as the key to salvation.

That might be one reason why Islam was the only religion that burned its own original scripture, defying Allah and Muhammad. All original Qurans, including manuscripts written by Muhammad himself (Muhammad wrote them with pen Q96:1-4, 68:1) in stones, leathers, and leaves, were burned and destroyed by the order of the third Caliph Uthman and Marwan the Governor of Medina, exiled to Taif by Muhammad himself. For 33 years Muhammad’s wife Hafsa and her father protected the Quran version called the Hafsa Codex, but upon her death, that last Quran was burned by the order of Marwan.

Tanack is Jewish scripture. The Islamic scripture is the Quran, meaning Recitation.

False.

False.

Islam means submission.

The Tanakh is the original Hebrew scriptures. Christians would call this the Old Testament (but the order of books is different, and it has some errors).

If you cannot answer those on your own, you'd better start looking for a double to take your exams. You couldn't pass them with the answer key in your hand.

I can make it easy, anything about any religion is false, even if they believe it to be true.
