ok, now i know that santa exists. my parents who love me told me about him, i've seen photos of him... blah blah. i've even seen him in person!! beat that!
one day i asked a kid my age (many years ago) what would he like santa to get him that Christmas. it was a common subject of discussion. guess what? he laughed of me and told me i was an idiot for still believing in santa. he said it was my parents that dressed like santa... i could not believe what i was hearing. and obviously i found out it was ... true. santa didn't come that year, he was in a hurry so he just knocked on the window and left without me even being able to get to see where he was. he taught he would fool me, but it didn't work this time. "santa" ackonleged and than recalled all those times when i was standing telling him poems.

ok, now my question. does santa exist? i mean the invisible santa.

I'm 18 and still believe in santa.

Not as a physical person...but as an "energy" if you will. Santa is like the Christmas spirit to me.

Toys can exist for reasons besides Santa. They prove nothing.

You mean there's no santa?? Wow and to think all I have to be thankful for are 4 beautiful healthy kids (one of which wasn't supposed to live, I was told by highly educated doctors that she had an 80% chance of having an awful genetic disease. I prayed to "santa" and she was born perfectly healthy) a wonderful husband, and a mother who survived breast cancer, once again I was told by the logical and educated that she barely stood a chance and Oh My Santa! She's alive and well and cancer free.

Even me, was told that I most likely had thyroid cancer and had to get a biopsy. I prayed so hard to "santa" and I'll be darned, the test came back negative! Oh and my sister gave birth and 25 weeks pregnant. They told us that the baby would never survive and his lungs would never develop properly. And there I went again praying to this "Santa" guy. Hey, my nephew is beautiful, healthy and strong at the age 2 ! And now your telling me there is no santa? Well then who in the world keeps bringing me all these gifts???? Oh yeah that's right.........IT'S GOD!!!!!!!!!! JERK!

Santa is more than a figure in red at Christmas. He is the Spirit of giving of Christmas, the embodiment of the Love that Christmas really is.

Of course Santa exists. Just like Jesus, there are a lot of books written about him, and lots of people say they've seen him, so that's good enough for me. The non-believers just don't want to be held accountable for their actions. They want to be naughty all year and still get presents on Christmas.

Now replace the word santa with the word god and this question would make a little more sense.

Christmas is not about Santa."Santa" is just a way for parents to get their children to behave. Christmas is about the birth of Jesus, and the gifts are given to others to celebrate His birth. That's why it's called CHRISTmas. It's a worldwide mass for Christ.

If Jesus exists, then so does Santa.

Well, I've been to Christmas, and they had a statue of their favorite man there. I haven't been to Hell, I just don't want to know what kind of statue they have.

oh yeah...i'm sure an INVISIBLE santa exists. that's why we can all see him and the jolly reindeers who spread freaking joy and cheer to little children on christmas eve...but wait it doesn't stop there! they also stick coal in stockings of bad naughty children! and i'm sure that isn't something parents would think of creating just to keep their children well behaved...they wouldn't do such a thing!

I guess he must.

Countless stories and films have been made about him. Parents tell their children to be good or they won't get a reward from him.

Yes, he must be real...
