Only because a lamb is a baby animal. It's like eating veil (calf or baby cow). Some people don't like seeing innocent creatures being slaughtered. However I feel all animals are innocent in a sense and they are here to serve us. So whether is be adult or child I still eat it.

Is dependent upon the practise and/or the reduce that's offered, but that is opinion. I personally like a good leg of lamb roast or a plate of lamb chops, nonetheless, i'm not a enormous fan of lamb ribs, as there isn't much in phrases of meat on them to start with, and to get to all of the meat, you must chomp by means of a layer of lamb fat, which to me, is incredibly unpalatable. Raw kibbe is proper out. Lamb shwarma on the other hand, is first-rate!

Eating an adult sheep is okay, but i personally don't agree with eating lambs. They are after all baby sheep, and should be given a good life before they are slaughtered. How would you like it if aliens came down to Earth and took your baby to be eaten, simply because they believed it tasted better than an adult human?

Eating animals for survival is fine, but eating babies specifically because they taste better is needlessly hedonistic and pretty heartless considering this is a living, thinking creature, not a mere plant. Not to mention an adult sheep has more meat on it, meaning less must be killed or more people can be fed.

We humans really aren't so special and should treat other animals with more respect. They should at least have the right to a good life before they die for our pleasure.

It is evil to eat lamb? Where do you live?

I know some people don't like the sheepish taste of lamb, but I never new it was evil to eat them?

Edit: I can and I do eat lamb.

It wouldn't be at all evil if the Muslims hadn't offered all the meat to their idols in prayer while looking towards Mecca. Just pray before you eat. I love lamb but rarely buy it. It's expensive. But why did you think it was evil to eat it? Maybe you have it mixed up with pork? Pork is forbidden in the OT but not in the NT.

Don't know anywhere that believes it's evil to eat a lamb. Can understand vegetarians or vegans believing it, but not normal omnivorous people.

It is really only the Japanese who don't eat lamb, and there is no tabu against it - it just isn't popular.

The probable reason is that the traditional Japanese diet was heavily fish-based, and fish is a relatively light and delicate taste compared to meat.

Lamb is one of the strongest of meats; so it would have been challenging for Japanese cuisine to embrace it.

The Japanese also rarely eat rabbit or venison - two other strongly-flavoured meats.

No, it is NOT evil to eat Lamb. Where did you hear that. It is not evil to eat ANY MEAT WHATSOEVER.

When Peter was in a trance one day, Jesus told Peter to kill and eat (Acts 10:13). In addition, God said "Every creature of God is good and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer" (1 Timothy 4: 4 - 5).

In the Old Testament, the Israelites were told to eat Lamb. It was their last Passover meal before leaving for the Promised Land.

We should eat Lamb as a shadow of what was to come - because Jesus was the spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world

So you see, as long as we say grace and thank God for our food, there is nothing we need refuse but we can eat all animals

I dunno which 'society' you live in but it's not Australia..

Try the Serious Lamb Burger from Maccas.

I've had a couple - not bad at all...

Or try a Lamb Roast.
