Christians protesting at rock/metal concerts question?

Why christians go outside of concerts arena to protest that all fans are going to hell
for going inside to the concert? I mean come on! I'm a metalhead and I'm not religious
at all. I consider myself an atheist. Why christians go bother people like us?
We don't go to their churches to talk about satanism and death metal or black metal.
So, why this people bother us when we do not bother them? We respect them by not
going to their home or churches to talk about our stuff, but why them have to come
to us to talk about stuff that we are not interested in?

Because they live very limited lives and have nothing better to do. They think being obnoxious is God's will. I can guarantee you none of them have even heard your kind of music.

Yeah, that's lame that there are people out there who do that. I'm a Christian and I've been to multiple non-Christian concerts over the course of my life and I enjoy music that has nothing to do with my faith. However, that doesn't mean that I'm going to Hell because of it. And these so-called Christians don't have any right to tell others that they're going to Hell either. Who are they to say what someone else's eternal destination is? Man, that bugs the crap out of me! Anyway, I'm sorry if someone who claims to follow Christ has ever forced their beliefs upon you. That's not how God has called us to live. He's called us to show love, encouragement, compassion and acceptance towards others and edify who they are as people. So just know that there ARE Christians out there who do the aforementioned things, and who respect beliefs and opinions of others rather than judge or condemn them.

Invading other people's privacy for the sake of spreading your Gospel is a good thing in the Christian's eyes. The funny thing is that such behavior has been banned in several southern Asian countries in order to protect their native religions/cultures. I say that's a good thing because they've been trying to convert people already. People should only convert another religion on their own free will only and not somebody else persuading them.

Something else - they put their crosses up all over the highway and nobody says a word because they're "good Christians", yet if a wiccan put up a pentacle she'd be hunted down and probably torched (yeah, Christians are still this crazy out where I'm from).

I don't think its good to have signs saying your going to Hell.

But I do try to get my metal friends saved. And there are LOTS of Christian metal artist preaching at the concerts but its not like that.

You should check out bands like For Today.

I'm not a Christian but there are some really good Christian metal bands out there. Zao, Coalesce, and August Burns Red come to mind.

Maybe they realize the protests usually increase ticket sales and are just trying to help us ROCK OUT!

simply by fact maximum Satanists are not antisecularist terrorists, like the persons who shoot abortion medical doctors, bomb gay nightclubs and federal homes and fly planes into homes. I do in simple terms no longer comprehend why the media has the audacity to tell apart. An antisecular terrorist is a terrorist, in spite of his faith.

Sadly there are many Christians not behaving as Christians. I am a Christian, but I wasn't always and I know you can't get through to anyone by condemning them.

Well unlike the retard that wrote above. Christians are just like that. Why do religions try to shove their beliefs down their throats? Because they believe in it so much they believe theyre doing u a favor

I am a Christian, I have never protested a concert. I have never seen it done.

Your comparison is a bit off, I dont think you can compare church to a concert. Do you think their Christian concerts suck, maybe you would mock them for it?

Anyways, if you metalheads are so metal then some Christians saying you are going to hell should only encourage you.

It's more about themselves than the concert goers they claim to be praying for. They're basicially looking up in the sky and saying "Look at me! Look at what I'm doing! I get into heaven now, right?"

They are very bored (and boring) people with entirely too much time on their hands.

I'm no fan of metal; but I have better things to do with my time than bust your chops.
