Question:
How many Jehovah's Witnesses think a "Holy Roller" is a JW?

In this suicide question, the JW asker said his brother is a "holy roller baptized", but the JWs who answered don't believe him because they think his brother is not a JW because he believed in hell, so they did not take this suicide question seriously, even though the asker never said his brother is a JW. Do the JWs know what a "Holy Roller" is? How can the JWs judge the question too quickly when the asker may have some serious suicide tendencies?

I saw >

The Kid is suicidal and the Witnesses are taking him to task and acting like Pharisees.

They don't take the time to read or comprehend the question at hand.

This question and the answers from the judgmental Witnesses scream volumes.

I hope the Kid is OK If the kid actually blew his brains out with his brothers gun I wonder if the consciences of the Witnesses who were hateful would even be bothered. I think not

Seeing how it has a few meanings I could see where it would mean different things to different people. Are you taking a poll?

I heard a druggie refer o a Holy roller as a roller who makes a joint rolled out of paper torn from the Christian bible or other religious books (the court had to ask him what he meant and he thought everyone knew). As well as I heard it referred to a person that is heavily religious in varies beliefs. And of course those who actually roll on the ground or make heavy displays in some religious ritual of having the holy spirit upon them are also what some believe it refers too.

People often judge because of history and patterns seen before or are aware they happen. If something doesn't sound right they are weary, as wiser people would be. There is reason there to be in question or doubt. It's the net. And haters of some do pull stunts like this all the time to get a reaction from certain ones, hopefully to find something they can nip on it. Happens so many times it would be naive not to question some posts.

So tell me, what would be the reason for religious bashing on a death post? Don't tell me that is necessary than. Don't they have enough sense and control of proper behavior even if they feel others were out of line at such a time? Is that their excuse others behaved in what they consider wrong so they have a right to do wrong too?

Before complaining about little faults they like to find in others (even if there is good reason to doubt, as in this case), perhaps others should look to their own big faults. And how their hate has driven them to unreasonableness.

Curious why are you so one-sided? I find the other much worst in behavior than the "reasonable doubt" ones. Take the beam out of your own eye, and you might see more clearly!

The Liberals on the political board often says Conservatives are "Holy Rollers"

A few Examples of thousands.

So am a correct to assume conservatives look for candidates that appeal to certain groups of people, like holy rollers. I live in a small Michigan town and the problem I see here for the conservatives is this blind way of ...

Conservatives, youve got big busines and holy rollers....leave comedy to us Dems.

I want to explore the idea of being a Republican, but I kind of feel as though Republicans are... well, evil and such Holy Rollers

...in my town aren't holy rollers, like most Republcans

Why do you hate Christians?

... that these conservatives that you probably hate so much.... They feed their holy rollers crap and they eat it up and...

Aren't you sick of the Holly Roller conservatives?

Can a Holy Roller Conservative be a Non-Christian?

... from another perspective, would a Holy Roller tolerate letting a Jew

>>>> The name has many meanings today. And yes I heard of Witnesses being called that. Along with others so I can understand someone might think they are talking about them.

I wouldn't even ask myself how many Liberals really think a Holy Roller is a Conservative. Kind of silly to me. And just looking for trouble. Surely You know what I mean by that?

And as far as the net-I don't take a lot on the net serious--for the fact many lie on the net. That is a Fact. I look for other things to go along with that. Not sure I saw a good pattern there to convince me there.

I can be very helpful to people, I help many with great problems just in my work. And if someone came to me I would try. But I am not the Savior of the Net neither.

Some things I leave to God.

that's a term he made up. he's authentic that some people seem to stay to bash the Witnesses. many times they're former JWs who're offended for in spite of reason (many times they have been given kicked out and then persuade themselves that there is something horribly incorrect with the religion.) different circumstances they're individuals of alternative Christian denominations who experience threatened via the JWs . . . that's comprehensible via Christian communities, JWs have a tendency to be between the appropriate knowledgeable religiously. as far as in spite of if or no longer he's a faker, that's puzzling to declare. very nearly all Witnesses are well mannered and good representatives of their faith. He ought to nicely be an anti-JW troll attempting to cause them to seem undesirable. that's lots extra probable that he has in simple terms gotten somewhat too . . . invested in YA and needs a destroy. i've got considered good people get obsessed interior of YA and different sites, and taking a destroy helped them return to frequent. Regardless, i'm hoping you do no longer decide the Witnesses based on the movements of that one person. in case you have questions approximately them there are numerous who must be of help :)

Holy Rollers are Pentecostal and usually evangelicals. Jehovah's Witnesses do not speak in tongues, run up and down the aisle spouting words no one can understand and they don't baptize young children until their old enough to know what baptism is all about, so NO, JW's are not Holy Rollers. I grew up in a Holy Roller church and know what it is.

JW's DO believe in Hell, all 4 (four) of them. That's right, in the Holy Bible four different words are used to denote and define Hell. Those words are: 1) Hades, 2) Gehenna, 3) Sheol and 4) Tartarus. Each of these words represent Hell in the Bible and where these words are in the Hebrew and Greek/Aramaic texts they were removed and replaced with ONE WORD, Hell. So, yeah, the JW's know about hell, all of them, the same Christ knew of them and even which hell Christ went to, or did you forget that? Do you really think he spent 3 days burning? 'cause I don't.

There is no reason to believe that any of these anonymous people are Jehovah's Witnesses. There are many imposters and false posters on the Internet. But their ignorance or prejudice usually gives them away.

Your answer to the other question shows that you are also biased against Jehovah's Witnesses, so your "question" here seems to be dishonest, or "jumping the gun" in a useless attempt to disparage the Witnesses.

All Jehovah's Witnesses know the difference between a "Holy Roller" and a Witness. Therefore, it is your question that is ignorant, not Jehovah's Witnesses.

If anyone has suicidal tendencies, he or she should seek professional help. Not post on Yahoo!Answers.

I answered the question you are speaking of, although I am not a Jehovah's Witness. However, just to make it abundantly clear for "Enosh" I am what you guys tend to name call as an "opposer" and you are right I oppose many and most of your false christian religion. Instead of answering the question that he is speaking of, in which there is no correct Watchtower answer for it. However I believe if these people are sincere Jehovah's Witnesses they would have answered he question with what your religion truly believes. However no one has as of yet. They rather judge then answer, I believe it's just too tough a question for them to answer.

Maud and Ned Flanders and Rverend Lovejoy and Helen Lovejoy named their bowling team the HOLY ROLLERS on the Simpsons. We think their church was either Episcopal or Lutheran. :D Nothing at all to do with JW.

Holy Rollers are the Pentecostals who roll in the isle when they get the Spirit.

But my Uncle who is a-religious used to call his Mother, sisters, and myself Holy Rollers (and we are not Pentecostal), more as a dig because I don't think he really understood the term either.

I am not a JW

So is your question Do JW know what Holly Rollers are ? I know just as much as I want to know. I dont think the problem is his brother other the fact he told TJ he would go to hell. If he has spiritual maturity he knows the answer to his brothers claim to hell. It sounds like to me Tj is just sick and tired and depressed. We all go through it especially those who are always fighting Satan's spirit.;;

We can identify ourselves by the terms we use.For instance: anointed, little flock, other sheep, torture stake, etc. We know what those terms mean, but those not part of our organization don't know how to correctly use them. Thus, a dead give away.
