I am an Atheist, but i used to be a Christian and go to a Christian school. In a way, God is just another answer. Its a function in the human brain to always need an answer to something. Nobody can really explain how humans and animals were created so perfectly, having the immune system, the brain, learning and development. There is no true and exact answer. So people need an answer so they feel settled. So they look up to God, as God is the "creator' he designed humans and animals so they are perfect. Because it dosnt just make sense that a whole bunch of organisms smashed together and said "hey, lets make a tiger" or "Hey lets evolve into a chicken". It just sounds un realistic. Jesus has not been proven to be real, nobody has found a body. The only proof we have is stories and writing that has been passed down (The Bible). It also does not make sense, because it is said that "Jesus was born on christmas" which would have been winter in the middle east. It also is PROVEN that the "star" that jesus saw was infact Jupiter. And Jupiter does not show in the Northern Hemisphere in December. The bible is in corrct in so many other stories as well. But i wont argue How do we know that the whole "jesus" and "God" thing wasn't just a prank, that lead into a huge story that would infact shape the future. Well, we don't. I think that God is just another answer to humans. So that we feel that we understand how we were "created"

All the available evidence would suggest that there is no God. Consider what a world with a God would look like and now consider what a world without a God would look like. Now compare those two models with the world in which we live and you will see that it more closely resembles a world without a God. People will try to use apologetics to reconcile their fantasy with the real world but these never stand up to scrutiny. Wasps and smallpox prove that there is not a benevolent God.

You will only find the true acceptence of God if you know that you are following the right religion. I'm a Muslim and SubhanAllah I never had trouble in religious affairs. Whenever i ask God for something really inportant i feel relaxed and happy because i know God has helped me before and will help me now too!



I'm a Muslim. I say that you read and study about Islam and Quran a little and think about it. Do not listen to other people remarks about Islam. Encourage yourself a little towards this religion.



Why? Let's see!



1) Have you ever wondered or seen animals who are unaware of human speech call the name of Allah. You can check YouTube and you will see this amazing fact. How is this possible. This is possible because there is a God who is the most powerful and the most merciful and that is Allah.



2) Recently a bible has been discovered in Turkey 1500 years old (has been proved by lab research) and consist of text worth 20 million dollars. In that Bible Jesus himself predicts Muhammad will arrive.



3) Zamzam is the name of a famous well in al-Masjid al-Haraam [the Sacred Mosque in Makkah], which is thirty-eight cubits away from the Ka’bah. It is the well from which Allah quenched the thirst of Ismaa’eel the son of Ibraaheem (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them both) when he was an infant. His mother(Haajra(peace and blessings of Allah be upon her) looked for water for him, but could not find any. She climbed to the top of Mount al-Safaa, praying to Allah to help her and give her water for Ismaa’eel, then she climbed to the top of Mount al-Marwah and did the same. Allah sent Jibreel(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) , and he struck the earth, and water appeared.



And guess what, it is still there in Kaaba!



4) Biggest proof is Qur'an because whatever it tells is present in this world, for example Kaaba, where Muslims do Hajj (pilgrimage). And it is still present inthis world!



5) The dead body of Firon, a cruel ruler who used to annoy Musa whenever he had the chance. So Allah drowned him and his body is preserved for the non believers as a sign of what will happen if you die as non believers. His face is black with sins and he will go to hell.





The Quran says: "Have the ignorant polytheists abandoned the true God and chosen, instead, the false and powerlessgods? Tell them: 'Bring forth your proof!' This call of mine to unity is my saying and that of all the learned men of the community, as well as the saying of all the Prophets and learned men before me. But these polytheists have no knowledge of the truth and constantly avert themselves from it. (21:24)



"Did man emerge from non-being through his own devices? Was he his own creator? Did mankind create the heavens and earth? Certainly they do not know God." (52:35-36)

The chances of god being real are negligible - the chances of whatever god you grew up believing in vs the thousands of other gods dreamt up my men is smaller still.

To convince people of the existence of God, I simply point to the many children, none of whom are starving to death around the world, the many sick and ailing persons, world-wide, who are now healed and well and happy, having no longer to put up with their doctors "practicing" medicine, and show them how the murder rate has dropped to ZERO, ever since God decided to take away their desire to harm others.

There are over 135 historically verified, fulfilled prophecies in the first 35 verses of Daniel chapter 11 alone. God called King Cyrus of Persia by name in Isaiah 44:24-45:6 as His agent for freeing the Israelites from Babylon 150 years before he was even born. Daniel 9:25 prophesied Jesus' entry into Jerusalem on what would be the first Palm Sunday, to be 483 years after the decree to rebuild Jerusalem was given by King Artaxerxes Longimanus of Persia. That one was fulfilled to the very day. The decree was given in 445BC. The prophecy was given in 535BC, 90 years earlier. Alexander the Great refused to invade Jerusalem after the Temple High Priest showed him in the book of Isaiah the very dream he recently had that was written hundreds of years beforehand. You just can't make this stuff up.



There are over 300 Old Testament prophecies, all of them a matter of public record hundreds of years before the fact, predicting the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus the Christ. The abundance and specificity of these prophecies demolish any notion of chance, exceed the requirements of statistical analysis, and prove more conclusively than any other fact of history that Jesus is the Son of God. In fact there is more hard evidence to prove that He is Who He claims to be, than there is that you are who you claim to be.



This is the unique and truly beautiful thing about the Bible. It stands alone among the so-called Holy Writings of the world, in its self-validating ability. Only the Bible tells the future with 100% accuracy. God knew we would be skeptical, unbelieving children. So early on, He began telling us things in advance of their occurrence so when what He said came true, we would be willing to believe Him. In this way we can be assured that our faith is justified.



In fact in Isaiah 44:6-8 God challenged anyone who claimed to be like Him to a two part test.  Part 1 is to accurately recount the past and part two is to accurately proclaim the future. Only God, who knows the end from the beginning  can do this.



Anyone who will put aside their pre-conceived notions and undertake an unbiased study of Old Testament prophecy can prove God’s existence beyond a shadow of doubt within a few hours. As God had Isaiah write, “I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.” (Isaiah 46:9-10)  No other so-called deity can make that claim. No other so-called deity has ever tried.



When you study Bible Prophecy and World History side by side it doesn’t require much faith at all to believe the Bible. The evidence in fulfilled prophecy is just too overwhelming. But don’t take my word for this, try it for yourself. The truth converts emotion to logic, adds knowledge to zeal, and makes your faith unshakable. Someday soon that kind of faith might well come in handy.

Yes, God is real. And answerers: It is not God who "created" suffering. We put it upon ourselves. WE could change a whole suffering country if we gave some of our money away. But no, WE are selfish and hypocritical. Not God. Do you know what else is funny? Those poor people - those suffering and starving children are the MOST thankful to God. They have nothing, yet they still love God with ALL their hearts because they know the reward - the reward of spending eternity in heaven.



Now...answering your question. I myself cannot prove to you whether God exists. Look in the Bible. Read the Bible. Give God a chance and he will work inside you. God is with you every step of the way. Build your faith. Seriously, knowing Christ is the BEST thing in the world for me. It has changed me. I'm not saying that life is easy for Christians. It's not. Its just as bad as everybody elses. But even in those tough times, you feel God is with you and you feel peace. It feels amazing.

Another reason. If everyone obeyed he Bible, this world would be a better place. If we didn't murder, steal, commit adultery or even lie, this world would be a better place. God does not send people to hell. He sends and meets them in heaven. If you commit your life to God, you will find that at the end of your road, is te beginning of God's doorstep. I believe in God 100% without a doubt. I would be willing to risk m life for that belief. Keep praying.



And this poem has helped me through my toughest situations:



One night a man had a dream.

He dreamed he was walking along

the beach with the Lord.



Across the dark sky flashed scenes from his life.

For each scene, he noticed

two sets of footprints in the sand,

one beloning to him and the other to the Lord.



When the last scene of his life flashed before him,

he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along the path of his life

there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the

very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.

you'd walk with me all the way.

troublesome times in my life there is

I don't understand why when I needed you most

The Lord replied "My precious, precious child,

I love you and would never leave you.

During your times of trial and suffereing,

when you see only one set of footprints in the sand,

it was then that I carried you."
