Can anyone tell me was the Florida Lakeland revival from God?
Some people say it was from the devil because of the weird manifestations etc but wouldnt it partly had to be from God because creative miracles happened there and only God can create and also wouldnt it be unlikely that Todd bently could have prayed for hours and hours for a revival and God not show up and only familiar spirits show up?I think maybe it was Gods presence/healing but bad spirits also showed up and brought confusion etc?
I appreciate your opinions

I don't see how it could be from God or the devil, since there is no evidence for the existence of either. I suspect that the revival filled the wallet of the sweet guy who was leading it - Todd Bently, you say?

You sound like you haven't reached the age of reason. You need to learn how to be skeptical about people like Bently, because I can guarantee the guy is a scam artist, a hypocrite, a fraud, and a charlatan.

Hello Mary K,

Simple Answer: "NOT!"

I live only about an hour from "Lakeland" here in Florida! I did some checking with my Bible about the Supposed Revival.

Perhaps many are deluded into believing that ANYONE that preaches is really for God and His Word. Perhaps YOU should read... "Matthew 7:21-to-23" -and- "2Corinthians 11:12-13-14"

One sure test for a MINISTRY is if they are Members of the "ECFA." See their site... www.ecfa.org

In order to get Certification from them, they spend TWO YEARS investigating their... "MONEY TRAIL" That is a good indicator of How they are USING the donations that are given to them.

In addition Todd has some "Very Serious Problems" in his personal life and allows those to continue without resolution.

The Supposed Healing and Supposed Miracles.... were tested by a local new station in my area. The best thing I will leave you with are several groups of Scripture.

(Isaiah 8:20) To the Law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because no light is in them.

(1Thessalonians 5:21) Prove all things, hold fast to the good.

(1John 4:1) Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but try the spirits to see if they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

(Matthew 24:24-25) For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they would deceive even the elect.

(Matt 24:25) Behold, I have told you beforehand.

Thanks for Asking! RR

It was a bunch of idiots under a tent, without the entertainment value of the circus.

Sorry, it was not.

God was not in that at all.

Truly, it was all demonic. Remember, Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Keep this in mind

Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!
