Do you think digging for oil has anything to do with world tragedies?

Have you ever asked yourself why all the third world countries continue to use their Hydro-electric Power? Lets make this answer so simple even scientist can answer the questions.

When a human being over-heats what do we do? First we put cool clothes on their skin. If this does not work? The next stage is to put them in a bath of luke warm water.

If they are to the point of having a stroke because their body temperature is so high its melting their brain? We put the in a bath of water and ice!

The same thing is happening around the world. The earth is like a giant thermos bottle and the fluids inside are what regulate the temperature of the earth. We have a molten core which stays regulated by different gases and oils.

My gosh it is not do difficult to figure out after all. Just like global warming but why do anything about lets just wait until we blow up. Genesis is the only real way to reset the equilibrium of the universe.

We started to make changes is the way we used our resources in the nineteen seventies. But it just cost to much to make any changes of that proportion. Even when we new the outcome if we did not move to more passive creation of energy.

Every new device has to start from somewhere like the telephone. Lights, bicycle, cars, motorcycles, steamboats, steam engine trains, hydro-planes, hovercraft, helicopters, jets, rockets.

Why did are smartest engineers and scientists go to work coming up with all these ideas.

Interesting theory but it is simply not true.

The distance between the earths crust and the center of the earth is about 3,959 miles. The average oil well depth in the U.S. is about 5,000 feet. The deepest well, to the best of my knowledge is 40,230 feet. This means that we have basically only scratched the surface. The big problem with drilling to deeper depths is the heat. In order to drill to depths that would have any effect on the earths internal temperature would mean drilling into molten rock. At those temperatures, the metal drill head would melt in seconds. The other problem is that there would be no oil at those depths.

Actually, hydro-electric can be hazardous to the environment as well. Building a dam can displace many species of animals or prevent their migration. If endangered species are in the area, they could go extinct. In third world nations, they are less likely to study any long term impact on species so they may have directly caused certain species to go extinct.

i think middle-eastern oil companies rake in so much money - they pay off/bribe world leaders to ensure laws are in place to benefit the production of oil as opposed to the production of technology/advancement to find superior alternative energy sources. when that does finally happen, wealthy lifestyles "over there" will change drastically. perhaps this would stimulate a middle class, for once

scientists dont run the show .. the rich people that fund them do .. thats why .. its plain as day that using ancient fossil fuel technology is destroying the earth but its YOUR fault and we need to regulate you .. is it clicking yet .. slave ..

.. the only way out is to change the current paradigm completely .. we do NOT need the elite, their system, their money, their fuel, nothing .. we could reject them easily we outnumber them by millions to one .. but choose to be slaves to them ..

Obviously it has *something* to do with **some** "World tragedies", such as

- Exxon Valdez oil spill

- BP Carribbean oil spill

- several cases of land environment destruction

- the potential tragedy of global warming

But - just as obviously - MOST "World tragedies" are NOT a consequence (direct or indirect) of oil drilling.

I'd like to point out that if petroleum were really regulating the Earth's inner temperature as you suggest, then the Earth's surface **would cool down** as a result of extracting oil from the Earth (because the Earth's core is *very much hotter* than the Earth's surface, and so any heat transfer due to conduction or convection through petroleum would increase the heat of the Earth's **surface**, and removing that petroleum would remove the medium by which the much hotter core transmits heat to the surface).

So: you've definitely got the very wrong end of this stick.

Well its not just oil, I'm not that educated so forgive me if I'm not using much facts/any cool words to sound smart. (no offense haha), but based on what I been seeing around on the news, what is happening to the people around me, Its not just oil that has to do with world tragedies, I'll admit though I heard lots of countries are still fighting for oil, because hey, without it, their technology/machines can't run. Also there is this argument, that yes, there is alot of pollution/global warming, negative things that are harming our planet's environment and even ourselves, that despite all the bad stuff that is happening, somehow the earth woin't die. The argument that life continues. New life is made even if there is alot of destruction and possible chances of no new life to be formed. Its unknown if the earth will get to the point of no nature at all and machines/technology has taken over, where there may or may not be oxygen for us to breathe, along with us having healthy lives. I'm not sure how to put it and sorry to sound confusing, But i feel like there all the bad stuff in the world balances the good, for example there are people out there who care about the planet and try to conserve it just as much as how there are people who don't care. Its hard to explain it. In terms of Oil, I wouldent be surprised if that is one of the reason for tragedies, people fighting and competing where they may or may not be killing eachother for an enriching resource while possibly destroying the planet in the process. Or something like that. I dont mean to confuse anyone but this is just how I see it somewhat. Your question is still interesting to think about.

Third world countries rarely have a hydro plant.
