Peace and Security will it ever happen?

Will we have true peace and security all over the world, or will man continue to fight and kill each other...... and in some cases all in the name of God?

I know it dos not look like any peace or security is on the agenda today . . it is so close now I can taste it.



Matthew chapter 24:1-14 is so specific about the signs Jesus taught his followers to watch out for



" Departing now, Jesus was on his way from the temple, but his disciples approached to show him the buildings of the temple. 2 In response he said to them: “Do YOU not behold all these things? Truly I say to YOU, By no means will a stone be left here upon a stone and not be thrown down.”

3 While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?”

4 And in answer Jesus said to them: “Look out that nobody misleads YOU; 5 for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 YOU are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that YOU are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet.

7 “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. 8 All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress.

9 “Then people will deliver YOU up to tribulation and will kill YOU, and YOU will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name. 10 Then, also, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and mislead many; 12 and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. 13 But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. 14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.



That 'end' mentioned in v's 14 is swirling about mankind right now.



Then this will occur:



Psalm 37: 9-11

 9 For evildoers themselves will be cut off,

But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.



10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;

And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.

11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,

And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace

the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night,

nor of darkness. 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us

watch and be sober. 5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they

that be drunken are drunken in the night. 5:8 But let us, who are of the day,

be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet,

the hope of salvation. 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to

obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,



1Thes.5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.



1Thes.5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.



Rev.7:9-17, only by Christ Jesus will peace and security eventually be

known. Rev.20:7-10.

The good news is that when Jesus returns to the earth He will eliminate all people of violence,especially the fake Christians who support and engage in warfare,to finally bring peace and justice to our morally sick world.The Book of Isaiah contains numerous prophecies about Jesus including this one that is so famous,it inspired a large statue that stands in front of the United Nations headquarters:



Isaiah 2:4



He will settle arguments



between nations.



They will pound their swords



and their spears



into rakes and shovels;



they will never make war



or attack one another.
