Is it true that atheists make multiple accounts and swarm every anti-atheist question in Yahoo Answers? Also, why do atheists use Yahoo Answers to get their opinions out?

I reckon there's more theists than atheists here.

I don't know if it's true that they make multiple accounts, but no more or less than the theists.

Why do atheists use Yahoo! Answers to get their opinions out? Because it's a public forum, open to questions & answers about religion & spirituality. There are other forums elsewhere on the internet, and I'm sure that other atheists may go there, but this is an open public forum. Get over it.

I dont presume to know what other R&S atheists do but I do know for a fact that there are many theists here with multiple accounts for the sole purpose of spam-reporting atheist posts into deletion.

At the end of the day this website is just a playground for bored people, theist and atheist alike.

How else can I get people to listen to my Atheistic logic? Posting my views online is too harsh. Should I just bomb an American landmark or stab a guy in Woolwich? Much more diplomatic, right?

So yeah apart from the amusement I get out of being on here I also hope to encourage other people to think about their beliefs and maybe even come out as 'an atheist'. Ever heard of this phrase from Richard Dawkin's infamous "God Delusion"? “Even if they can't be herded, cats in sufficient numbers can make a lot of noise and they cannot be ignored.”

1) Why are there so many Christians? So many other theists?

Maybe it's because all of us share a common interest in religious and spiritual topics of various sorts. I would argue that questions involving the existence of a god(s), the nature of it/he/she/them, and morals that are based on how the preceding questions are true, could involve people who do not believe the same configuration.

2) Leading question much? And no.

3) Yahoo Answers is full of theist opinions, why is it wrong to have different ones?

Judging from how you refer to atheists, the likelihood of you deciding you share that title is low.

I'm an atheist. It's not like it's a disease. The internet is pretty much a safe haven where minorities can find like-minded people. I don't think they are making multiple accounts, this is just our opportunity to openly express ourselves because a lot of us have to tiptoe around religious people all day and bite our tongues when people preach at us.

Seems 50/50 to me, but to be fair that is still a bit discrepant from the actual theist to atheist ratio in real life.

The internet generally has a higher ratio of atheists to theists than you would find in the real world.

Mmm... no. Christians do the main complaining with regard to the content textile and solutions atheists provide, yet then they have the main prolific trolls and the main without postpone insulting content textile. i'm no longer asserting atheists do no longer, yet we are no longer attempting to signify a god in a favorable easy and failing miserably at it. the main concept scary stuff is from the atheists and that's simply by fact it particularly is aimed in the direction of actuality searching for quite than confirming bias. playstation . Prolific replica/pasting of scriptures with the ever present links to an identical web content persistently infrequently counts for "nicely concept out".

"Also, why do atheists use Yahoo Answers to get their opinions out?"

It is a safe outlet. By that I mean I would get fired from my job if my boss knew my beliefs...sad isn't it?

For the same reason everyone else wants to get thoughts across. . We all have a right to decide our believes and express them. By the way I am a dedicated Jehovah Witness and love my faith and believes .

If you look at the number of thumbs down theists get as opposed to atheists, that's proof atheists far outnumber theists here.

Why they're here? That has been answered many, many times.

Simple coincidence. R&S is dominated by rational people, but luckily the politics section is dominated by insane conservatives, so it balances out.

Why do theists obsess over atheists online? Don't you have a soup kitchen to volunteer for? Oh that's right, you worship a man who did charity so you don't have to, lols.
